Remake was better.

The remake was disappointing. The acting wasn't incredible, the mistakes they made in the movie were just so bad. I still enjoyed watching the remake but it doesn't have anything on the original.

V for Vendetta. Good film, very entertaining to say the least. The original Red Dawn was something which I really used to enjoy watching too.

Remake was better.

Jokes. I need to watch V again. I wonder if there'll be any films with the V/Anonymous mask in. Wonder if they could get the rights to use it. Would be cool to see armies of V masks in another film.

I remember liking the first Pitch Black when I saw it in theaters and I might've caught it once or twice since.

I watched Chronicles of Riddick when it came out on DVD on a train ride and was utterly bored. I found myself staring at the scenery outside more than the film.

I've not seen Chronicles. I'll give the trilogy a go when I've got time. No time at the moment though for any films or TV Sad

i think the film couldn't find any investors, so vin diesel put a lot of his own money into making it. he might not get all of it back

Yeah, Vin himself got the rights to Riddick/the Pitch Black Universe by making another film he wasn't too excited about. From there, they were supposed to shoot it in Montreal at a certain time but one of the producers backing the film financially was apparently involved in some fraud issues... So after a few months, they were finally able to shoot but trust me... They definitely did it as much on the cheap as possible.

I may not have liked the film, but I hope it ends up at least breaking even for both Vin and the studio. The dude's a good fan and loves making projects just 'cause he's a big geek. We need more like him.

Surprised he pushed to make a sequel especially with his own money. Haven’t seen PB since it came out on dvd, but I don't remember it being up to much.

Yep, the last season of Dexter was absolutely terrible. Especially the last episode. I wish I had quit after 4 seasons!

Just finished watching Riddick. Very meh.

dexter is bad because the producer left after season 4.. the writing on that show was beyond horrid from seasons 5-8, especially with the last season.

i watched the first 2 seasons of sons of anarchy.. it was good, but not my type of show.

If we are to talk about series I can recommend Sons of Anarchy and Justified. Probably my two favourite ones. Apart from that Breakig Bad is also very good. Somehow the highly advertised shows like Dexter or Walking Dead are geting worse and worse.

haven't checked out sherlock, probably not my type anyways.. but shameless will be back. along with californication and *i guess* house of lies, which i don't like that much.

I loved, loved, loved the first few seasons of Californication... But it's become a shadow of its former self as of late. Same thing happened with Entourage; they should've stopped the show a few seasons earlier to keep it fresh till the end.

well, it has introduced nothing new.. just the same rehash year after year. it is overdue to retire.

So Rush turned out to be much better than I expected! I'm not a big fan of F1 and didn't know about the history behind the drivers in the film, but the plot was both interesting and engaging.

Recommended if you have two hours to kill!
totally agree with this guy. RUSH is even better than expected. I even thought I'd start watching F1 after watching the movie. beside the firtst episode of the third part of Sherlock, Rush is the second best movie of 7 movies I've seen in this 2-weeks break Smiley)
