i never understood why people liked 2001: a space odyssey so much. there was practically no fucking story the entire movie. wtf?
For all those bewildered by the length and pace of this film ("like, why does he show spaceships docking for, like, 15 minutes?"), here's a word you might want to think about:

a better word: inanity.
if i wanted to look at pretty shit, i'd go out in nature or stare at a picture. i hated 2001 for the same reason why i hated tree of life.

Hmmm.... so you believe that Jack Nicholson's best performance was in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest? Have to disagree. OFOTCN was a great movie, but his best performance came in The Shining.

Hadn't heard that Chris Tucker Minister story either, but he just got too greedy demanding big bucks for his films, now he can hardly get roles and has to work his way back up. I liked him in Silver Linings though.

Many movie stars go crazy buying houses and cars all over the world then have a dry spell and realise they can't keep up the repayments or mortgages on them. Banks just throw money at you when you're famous, but I doubt or haven't heard of Bruce Willis being in money trouble.

Didn't he quit acting to become a minister or something? I thought he changed his life and became against using curse words, which was part of the reason he was so funny in his movies

I was going to mention Nicholas Cage. He's a perfect example. He bought ridiculous properties all over the world including a castle somewhere in Europe. He also spent silly money on rare comic books which he collected but had to sell them all recently to pay his taxes.
