You should watch "Frozen". I know it's a kids movie, but it's very good

I've watched it about a week ago and also like it. It's even nice to watch as an adult and I found the plot to be very original for a change.

Those are all epic scenes.. or how about the flame fart scene, or or the fight scene in the restaurant when he rips the cooks heart out haha.  Or this classic quote.."kick his ass Sea bass".   Grin

Oh if they haven't already been said then I'm going to suggest Dumb and Dumber for a comedy and Fargo for something darker and with a bit more depth shall we say.

Dumb and Dumber! Hell yeah, movie from my younger days, always gonna remember some scenes from that movie: policeman drinking piss, licking ice cold metal bar, and talking with group of horny girls and not reading that situation at all, not to mention dog car Smiley

You should watch one of those 3 hour long ambient fireplace dvds.

It's intense, heated, there's tons of action.

Anyone here can tell me if Cloud Atlas is any good. I wanted to see that movie for a long time but I heard some mixed opinions. Anyone seen it?

IMHO it takes a while to connect the various scenarios randomly jumping back & forth.

But knowing this is gonna happen is half the battle won, then's it's actually a pretty smart and well-done movie, once you get used to it.
No action super-blockbuster due to its focus on storytelling but I liked it anyway (and still has some good action parts). Best reserved to watch it without interference, i.e. on a rainy weekend.

Definitely a more complex setup than most hollywood productions.

"Lucky Number Slevin" is a pretty cool movie...it has some pretty clever writing and some dark comedy....I like dark comedies.   Another older good dark comedy is "Very Bad Things"

Overrated much?

I didn't cross reference IMDB when saying that, but their scale has it at #14 of all time movies

Watched the movie "Joe" with Nicholas Cage last night. Pretty sad but well acted movie.

Nicolas Cage. Well acted. Does not compute  Grin.

I really liked the film as well. Cage performed better than expected.

A lot confusing. I watched it only once, didn't understand much of the part. Did not attempt again. But someone said the movie is less confusing than the book, so I wonder how the book goes Tongue

See my above post. Book was very confusing. Had little idea what was going on.

Maybe a critic's choice but I'd not hit it twice.

I haven't watched it yet. It's pretty lengthy and I haven't had enough time. I heard it was really good though.

Haven't seen it but didn't like the book at all. Hope the film is less confusing though.

Can someone suggest me some more movies like "Interstate 60" ?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0165832/

I watched it a few days back and was thoroughly impressed by the script and entertainment factor. I am inclined to watch more movies that follow similar storyline. If anyone has watched this movie and is able to suggest more like that one?

To give you a hint of what I mean by 'similar', I'd put Nebraska in same basket (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1821549/)

I'm a massive Gary Oldman fan but that's one of the few films of his I haven't seen yet.

If it hasn't already been suggested I want to say Total Recall.  I like that one from my youth.  That is at least worth checking out for the entertainment value I'd say.

Get your ass to Mars. I didn't see this film until a couple of years ago, and have seen it once or twice since. I think it's alright, I haven't seen the new one yet - I've heard that is not too bad either.

Yea I'm not saying it is a masterpiece or nothing just saying I loved it when I was young.  Now that I'm older I can give it a better review which is always fun nd I look forward to doing.  The new one I started it online but the quality was not what I wanted so I cut it short but I did like what little I seen of it as far as graphics go.  I'll be watching that one soon thanks for bringing that up.  Smiley
