I watched We're The Millers last night. Bit of a ridiculous and silly/stupid plot, but there were quite a few laughs in it and one especially lol-worthy scene.

Does Rotten Tomatoes reviews matter to you? I have many favorite movies that low ratings in rotten tomatoes even it has big box office earnings and and their high rating movies is very shitty very little watch based in their low box office earnings.

the purge is lame

I don't think so. The theme was unique. And it is having a rating of 5.5 / 10 in the IMDB and 37% in the Rotten Tomatoes.

I haven't seen The Purge but those don't really indicate a great film. What makes it unique (without giving the plot away)? I usually like horror films if they're a bit different.

The initial concept of the purge is quite interesting enough to make me download the movie, but from 1/3 of the movie till the end is just yawn.

Just saw Captain AM, I don't like it although it could be as best as it could get for this type of movie. Also hate spider man / Batman / huck/ avenger, but do like Iron man , X-men, watch men.

Saw 'Secret Life of Walter Milly' yesterday. A fully entertaining and enlightening movie. Ben Stiller's best arguably. Didn't know Ben was also the director until the credits rolled. Highly recommended.

I was surprised by it and had no idea Stiller directed it too.

Doesn't he play a load of different roles? Is it a funny?

I wouldn't say funny; it is humorous at times in a good way.But more importantly, its a film that gives you a new direction to your thoughts and life as a whole.

Ah yeah, I think I remember reading about the premise now. Not seen a single second of it though but looking forward to it.

More of a comedy drama then? One Ben Stiller film that surprised me was The Heartbreak Kid.  I expected zero from it going in and I guess it's a fairly typical Stiller film, but it had me really laughing out loud quite a few times.

Well... the future government creates an annual 12-hour period, during which all criminal activity (including murder, theft, and rape) becomes legal. Some people use this time to take revenge. Other vigilantes use it to eliminate the criminals.

I have never seen themes related to this in any other films. Felt fresh!

I enjoyed "The Purge" and I'm pretty excited for part 2.  Not saying it is a classic but the idea of the film it was keeps me wanting more.  I like that the film itself goes out on a limb and takes chances if that makes any sense.

Yeah was pretty good for what it was. I liked the horror You're Next as well, and I'm not a big horror fan.

Purge was pretty good, "You're Next"  not so much.   The only thing good about that movie was their masks haha

I've never seen your next but thanks for your thoughts on it.  I most likely won't be watching that unless I'm bored out of my mind and there is nothing else for me to do haha.

They are making a Purge part 2?  That outta be interesting

Here is the youtube trailer for purge 2:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yaoh3PqHG7I

It looks so, so...  I think it is a wait for dvd movie..

Something about Mary is an old favorite

Haven't seen it in years, but it was funny back in the day. Cameron Diaz was pretty cute in her older movies.

I had a thing for her back in the day. She was even cuter in Mask.
Cameron Diaz in Mask was perfect. Mask is one of the my top10 films - funny, interesting and probably first (+/-) film with a decent graphics.

Yeah she was so hot back then.   I know a lot of people in the industry though who say that she is an absolute nut job in daily life...
