I just saw Captain Phillips last night, the movie was great and putting yourself in the dudes shoes makes the experience all the better considering it's a pretty solid representation of what actually happened.

Not seem him in much other than Get Him to the Greek, Sarah Marshall and Superbad.

Isn't that pretty much all he's been in? haha

Haha, yeah pretty much. He's well different in the Wolf of Wall Street. Going to watch the rest of it tonight. Loooong film.

21/22 Jump Street will be paying his rent for a loooong time to come.

Also, Wolf was a long film, but felt super short. Get to it!!

Haha, I'm on it! Not seen the Jump Street duo. I'm not a big Channing Tatum fan. I think he did some good acting in Dear John (made to watch it!) but other than that I think he's pretty wooden. White House Down was ridiculous. The cheesiest film I've ever seen.

FUCK NICHOLAS SPARKS!

I watched White House Down and Olympus Has Fallen back to back. I didn't think White House Down was too bad. Enjoyed it for what it was. You can tell Olympus Has Fallen had half the budget of the former.

We're definitely in agreement over White House Down. I think Channing Tatum's got potential, but we'll see how it goes... 21 Jump Street showed that he's got decent comic timing as well, so maybe comedy is more his thing. Ah well.

Ah, maybe another Mark Wahlberg, I'll give the Jump Streets a go.

I haven't watched a film in months as I've been busy with Bitcoin and posting on these forums haha. Got loads of stuff downloaded I want to watch, but will probably make a start on in the new year.

I'm actually happy to finally be done watching the pile of movies I felt obliged to go through! Now I can just watch stuff as I go along... No stockpiling for the time being.

Nest one I'm looking forward to is Wolf of Wall Street. The book was pretty insane and I've heard that the drug use in the film is second only to Scarface. Should be a good one, with Scorsese and DiCaprio re-teaming once more!

Watched Wolf of Wall Street the other day. Really good film. The performances from Jonah Hill, Di Caprio and Matthew McConaughey were VERY good. Jonah Hill's was probably the best as it's the first time I've seen him venture away from his, 'loveable, chubby friend' role. Not seem him in much other than Get Him to the Greek, Sarah Marshall and Superbad.

I love how Whalberg doesn't even try in his movies. I started watching 2 Guns a few weeks ago but my bros bluray player decided it didn't want to play the file 20 mins in  Grin.

The only film I like Whalberg in is The Other Guys. He's got great comedic timing which was unexpected.

Or the director etc have a lot of patience

Haha yeh good point. Either way he did very well with it. Some of the funniest bits come from him.

Wahlberg is pretty funny in The Happening but not intentionally.

His performance on Graham Norton was pretty funny also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkMfqZVmvss

And I think I'm in love with Sarah Silverman. Dem thighs.

Has anyone seen him in Broken City or Lone Survivor?

I haven't seen Broken City (seemed boring) but Lone Survivor's alright. Ben Foster has the most memorable role in that, though. At least for me.

Man, I remember watching that instalment of Norton - Sarah Silverman is an absolute goddess.

She should be in a film called Bed - I bet that she would give an Oscar performance in that  Shocked

I concur, but Bed? I don't get it Huh.

She'd be good in Bed.

Finally got around to seeing Her and thought it was amazing! Definitely in my top 5 for the year. Made me fall in love with Scarlett Johansson's voice.

As for Human Centipede, that was an amazing time in theaters!
