Guys,

just download the bios.

Only setting you need to turn on is Cryptocurrecy mining to enable.

BE SURE you have WINDOWS 10 in UEFI mode instaled.

I have instaled 30+ rigs all with 7 cards and it just works fine. All mobo there are MSI Z170A GAMING PRO CARBON 7GPU.

All cards i have in rigs are MSI RX 480 Gaming 8 GB.

It will work even with other cards as well. No need to adjust any other bios setings. Only think you need is to enable cryptocurrency mining.

Thats it.

If anything write me on skype... cReepas.

Best regards

cReepas

what are you talking about lol there is no such setting "Cryptocurrecy mining" in any brand of bios MSI or otherwise

Hello everybody...

At first I found and installed the V4 VBios in my 4 Sapphire Rx 480 Nitro + 8gb on Asus Z170 Deluxe, but then I tried to add the R9 390 Nitro 8gb I had in the drawer and Asus does not work with more than 4 cards ...
I ordered a MSI Gaming Z170A Carbon Pro that came yesterday and I immediately changed the BIOS with a lot of problems ... but this is the past ...

Now the V4 worked well before UEFI on my old Windows 10, but now I'm not working the motherboard, I have to use it Stock

vbios version of the RX 480 Nitro + Sapphire is:

Standard
P/N 113-2E3470U.X5W
E347 Polaris 10 XT A1 GDDR5 256Mx32 8GB 300e/300m
Image Size 0xE600
CRC 0x4100

Silent
P/N 113-2E3470U.S5W
E347 Polaris 10 XT A1 GDDR5 256Mx32 8GB 300e/300m
Image Size 0x80000
CRC 0x4700

I tried to replace the original Silent and PC works smoothly

I tried to download "Polaris" and edit the original following the parameters of the V4, but the motherboard is one long beep and two short beeps and proceed with the Windows startup, and turned black screen.

Can someone explain me how to do or where to go to find help to vbios that works with UEFI?!?!

We have custom BIOS that i post in this link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bk22xpc6afayexc/E7A12IMS.7Z?dl=0

There is option cryptomining just turn it on.

Important info: it works only on UEFI Win 10.

First thanks for your work and your share.

Did you use usb extender or m2 to get 8th gpu?

What you mean "cryptominig option"? you added this thing to bios pannel?

Is tested also with linux like ethOs ?

+1 what about 8 gpu?

First of all, use Google Translate to write ... I'm Italian

Ok ...
Yesterday:
copied and flashed new BIOS of this page

Then I beat my head against all the walls of the house

I describe what I did this morning ...

1) reset Bios

2) I downloaded in the laptop with Windows 10 .IMG Media Creation Tool Pro ... Windows (in my case Italian) x64 only

3) with rufus 2.6 as explained in this videoo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_aRkEfJmsw) I prepared USB support

4) Connected USB key, keyboard + mouse, Intel 80GB SSD to the motherboard, but without video cards (graphics cards with 3 long beeps and a blank screen)

5) He entered the Bios:
-del or F1 depends on the case
-F7

-Settings / Advanced
--- PEG = 0 "Gen 1"
--- PEG = 1 "Gen 1"
--- PCI Latency = "32 (default)"
--- Above-4G "Enabled"

-Settings / Integrated Peripherals
--- On Board Lan = "Enabled"
--- Sata Mode = "AHCI"
--- Audio = "Enabled"
--- HPET = "Enabled"
--- everything else "Disabled"

-Settings / Integrated Graphics
--- Initiate Graphic = "PEG"
--- Shared Memory = "64"
--- IGD = "Disabled"

-Settings / USB Configuration
--- All = "Enabled"

-Settings / Windows OS Configuration
--- Windows 8.1 / 10 = "Enabled
--- Windows 7 = "Disabled"
--- MSI Fast Boot = "Disabled"
--- Fast Boot = "Enabled"
---> = Secure Boot Secure Boot Support = "Disabled"
---> = Secure Boot Secure Boot Mode = "Standard"

-Settings / Boot
--- Boot Mode Select = "UEFI" (now you can not change)
--- Boot Option # 1 = "UEFI USB KEY"
--- Boot Option # 2 = "UEFI Hard Drive"

-Settings / Save & Exit
---> Save Changes and Reboot

Now Part Installing Window 10
Just load the language selection screen, press Shift + F10
It opens a CMD window
write:
"Disk part"
"List disk"
"Select disk x" (x = is the disk on which you install)
"Clean"
"Exit"
close CMD and continue installation of Windows 10

Now Windows is installed but no video cards !!!

Install all Drivers Motherboard

Now I enter 1 or all Riser cards (4x RX 480 Nitro + 8gb and 1x R9 380 Nitro 8gb) and ... 1 long + 2 short beeps, black screen, but I think that windows works.

I do not understand where I'm wrong Huh

Hello, I'm new to the forum,
my configuration:
i5 6600k
MSI GAMING Z170A PRO CARBON
Corsair 16 GB DDR4
Intel 80GB SSD
4x RX 480 Nitro + 8gb
1x R9 390 Nitro 8gb
5x Riser 1x to 16x
Corsair 1200w

I installed the new BIOS,
but I have this problem:

During the installation of Windows 10, when it is restarting,
booting and then freezes

with the old bios ...
if the active Above 4G Decoding = Boot and then freezes (ssd stops blinking, lit screen, no image)

if not active Above 4G Decoding = Boot Windows and complete, but only two RX 480 work, the others are in conflict

What should I do?
there's your tutorial?

how can I be sure that Windows 10 is UEFI?
MBR or GPT Huh

I do not understand anything any more!!!

Your problem: Important info: it works only on UEFI Win 10.

You need to install windows in UEFI.
If you use legacy and boot into uefi, you'll see blank screen. No boot.
The crypto mining option in mobo bios is buildin from MSI. You cannot turn it on without UEFI windows 10

This is a custom modded bios? If so what difference does the cryptomining option do?

The new official bios is supposed to make it work with 7gpu so what is the point of this?
