So, after 5 months and agreeing to paying a 5% ransom, I have received an e-mail that my funds are being sent and should take another week to arrive. I'll believe it when I see it.
It's really "interesting" that they decide to cash out withdrawals once the BTC price has spiked. Interesting indeed. I really hope MTGOX gets what is coming to them.

Update: Waiting over 4 months for USD wire requested July 4 within the hour of the announcement that USD withdrawals had been resumed.
Cancel it and make nice profit at an exchange that is actually still solvent.Can't currently withdraw BTC....I've been waiting 12 hours now for some BTC withdraws, still nothing on blockchain.

Having BTC withdraw issues now @ Gox.
Been waiting hours and have multiple BTC withdraws that still haven't showed up on blockchain.
On IRC they are saying that it's because of the large number of transactions that gox is processing right now (in the last hours or so over 2000 were performed allegedly).

Man, I think Gox's volume is now above Forex, first they overwhelm the traditional banking system, then they overwhelm the whole Bitcoin network, what's next? Gox's huuuuuuuge volume is going to make the earth implode?

no , it does not make sense - how do these "unspendable" coins get transfered to Mt.Gox in the first place ?
Functionally , BTC sure is fucked up if it doesn´t perform transfers !!

So mtgox is starting to receive money from the current rally and paying out the debt with these newly wired money.

Anyways you may sometimes be the victim of the so-called "network congestion" and have to wait a few days.
1. Newly-mined coins are not spendable for 100 blocks.2. Some miners direct their payouts to their Mt Gox account.
3. Mt Gox withdrawal code is not smart enough to avoid attempting to spend unspendable coinbase outputs.
4. When something goes wrong, they don't have any way to manually fix it besides waiting for the coinbase outputs to mature and rebroadcasting the transaction.
I withdrew BTC yesterday with no issues, was sent instantly. Anyways you may sometimes be the victim of the so-called "network congestion" and have to wait a few days.
The BTC withdrawals, from what I've heard, suffer from some kind of a bug that causes a lot of them to be delayed for up to several days.
Even BTC withdrawals are blocked
I initiated a 11 BTC withdrawal yesterday and contacted support 1h later since it had been confirmed but not processed by MtGox. Now 14h later still nothing !!
support answer: "... Few BTC withdrawals are delayed and the transaction should eventually go through. We will update you once the transfer is complete."
Obviously they are technically insolvent / broke if they cannot even perform BTC withdrawals !
Anyone else with the same problem ?
