Okay, found the settings for finding the cube via proxy but it's now trying to mine scrypt. Is there a way to force it to only do SHA on the cube (and obviously the Rockminer when I get that going)?

You should be able to select the correct algorithm for your proxy.

Don't see that setting. When I put in multiple coins, both Scrypt and SHA, and set to switch based on profitability, the proxy switches to a Scrypt coin. Can't seem to find a way to tell it only pick from the SHA coins.

Apologize up front but didn't feel like reading through 156 pages of this thread.

Trying to get my Rockminer R-Box setup and saw a thread that says MM should work great for it. Figured I'd give it a shot as I'd prefer to have 1 miner running and am currently using BFG for my ASIC Cube.

1. MM doesn't seem to see the cube Sad I've got a bit of troubleshooting to do on my own first but thought I'd just post to see if anyone can offer any advice.
2. Any way to import the polls? I see the import menu option but I don't have a file. Currently mining on MultiPool but don't see an export there. Guess just type them all in by hand??
3. Can it run both SHA and Scrypt at the same time??
4. Problem with the Rockminer is that it is recognized in my Win7x64 box but no drivers loaded for it. Saw threads saying if using BFG for it NOT to load the zadig drivers. Which ones should I use?

That should get me started. Thanks!

Ok everybody, try not to lay into me too hard, but I'm clueless (trying to learn). I finally found a miner that I could get to do something besides not work...so now I want to make it work better  Smiley

My problem is, I don't know how to configure arguments and such; heck, I can't even figure out how to modify the intensity setting.

If anyone could steer me in the right direction (read steer with a gps), I'd be super greatful

You're not alone. I'm a noob myself and am experiencing hell with my first purchase of Gridseed G-blades. Just wanted to share tight.
They say there are no stupid questions just stupid people. So ask your questions away. there are lots of very helpful people on these forums. good luck.

use the gridseed version of bfgminer 3.10.0 for the blades,

use this as the batch file....   put in your own pool info

bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://yourpool.org:3333 -u worker.2 -p x -d gridseed -S gridseed:all --set-

device gridseed:clock=750

my blades have been chugging along nicely 5.3-5.5mhs for weeks now...

Hello Gentlemen,

I'm trying to use MM for the first time I have a mix of GS and ZeusMiner. I built a fork of bfg 4.2 for Zeus and installed it system wide. bfg works fine I can invoke it from anywhere via terminal.

I read on the Internet that I should copy my bfgminer to \MultiMiner\Miners\bfgminer so I did it. But still not recognizing my bfgminer.

How do I tell MM to use this version of bfg and NOT the ppa? i keep getting an error saying it cannot find a version of bfg.

Thanks for your assistance and thanks to the developer as well.

Cheers,

More errors...

I guess I will start opening support tickets for these over on Git since we are getting no responses here. Just didn't want to overload the Git box with MM crash errors but something's gotta give!

MultiMiner no longer runs as intended and crashes/freezes at random times making it near impossible to monitor/control from afar as intended.

Lots of .NET errors are going on Nate the last couple weeks.
All systems are up to date.
No other issues.

Yes, a LOT of .NET errors popping up now! Earlier it didn't  happen. Sad Nate, please give a solution for this. Smiley

Thanks

I'm currently running multiminer without auto-switch profitability enabled. Its a bit more micro-management but its the only way I can be sure all my gridseeds are mining. I noticed with 'profitability' enabled sometimes MM would coin switch but not all of my miners would start accepting shares until the next switch, even though they would show a hash rate (and yes I do have restart suspect miners checked - the problem is it doesnt work). Now if some of them fail to start accepting shares I just stop/start MM until they do then let it go.

It's a pity this can't be fixed, but I'm not going to use this functionality if effectively only one of my blades or pods are actually doing any work.  Cry

Ditto.
I bought my Gridseed G-blades 5.2MH/s from Gawminers & received them on 6/12/2014's evening delivery.
I'm not saying anything bad against them, (yet), but I've been experiencing inconsistent and unstable LTC mining with both G-blades since the delivery.
I've been using every software available at my disposal including  MM 3.2.x in Windows 7, the STM32 drivers. Also, with my RPi  Model rev. B, Debian, Minepeon, Starminer, Scripta, Minera 0.2.2, DOS based cgminer 3.7.2 & bfgminer 4.x.x. All  resulting in the same.
I'm returning both blades.
Nothing that I've tried seems to give me a stable mining session for more than 30 minutes without me having to babysit these every 15-30 minutes.
However, all is fine & plugging away at BTC mining with my Antminer S1's without a hitch for over two months now. I know its not fair to compare these to those but it is what it is.

Look for the advanced miner settings and then look for the Arguments section drop-down selection...you will choose the algorithm there and enter arguments such as Intensity, Fan, Memclock etc.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I get "Multiminer has detected miners it does not own - did you want to kill them" error on a daily basis now.  Embarrassed

After MM crashes/freezes?

Yea. I'm thinking it happens more often too if I do a bit of swapping between my 2 miners via the MM 'network/tree' menu on the one machine.

I have seen that as well with some pools.  I guess their severs are not setup to handle requests that do not have the prefixes on there.
It is good that you were able to get to the bottom of it.

Hey Nwools, so I figured out the suchpool.pw connection issue, if you don't put stratum+tcp:// in the miner information it causes problems. Not entirely sure why it only affects certain pools, but it definitely influences connectivity.
