The competition is huge on the ICO market and it is advised to enter it with a well planned full package. Plus the market situation is not favoring ICOs nowadays. If you have a top idea and good development team you can start anytime but it is better to prepare everything first to avoid failure and disappointment .

Well guess what? All those guys who do have an idea about marketing are all on ICO projects, doing plenty of marketing. Drilling up hype in conferences and all that. But their ICOs are still failing. You want to know why? Because people are simply sick of ICOs now. You got a great idea? Do it. But please don't run another ICO. Just show your honest effort on your work and let the project deliver success on its own.
I think first of all you must say - what are the guarantees of a return on investment? What security of the coins? Because there are many cheaters on the market now and investors have no confidence in the ICO.

With today's current market situation, it is really hard to penetrate the market. This is where the PR and Marketing take place. Their role is to create awareness and expose the project to potential investors.
Apart from being hard to penetrate the market, which of course a lot of investors right now are not really ready to be investing in this market at all, considering the way things have been going, which is one of the reasons why a lot of project ICOs have been unsuccessful lately by not reaching their soft cap based on the high selective nature of investors at this point in time. However, the reason why I said apart from being hard to penetrate the market is that, anyone who is actually looking to start an ICO now, without a clue how to go about marketing, how will such a person have a clue on how to even develop the project in the long run, if only as little as marketing is a problem.

You can see some ICO who have succeeded and looked into their team. usually, their team has a Linked account and several social media accounts. You can ask directly to their marketing team or also can work together for your ICO. Don't forget to also do a bounty program to help promote your ICO
This is a solution that can be taken when it does not have the expertise or the base regarding marketing. but at least in addition to having an idea of the ICO should also know about marketing so that it could continue to be monitored and not out of line that is already set. just have one idea and skill alone will not be able to easily make the ICO be great. Why would you even try to make an ICO if you don't even have plans to begin with. You are just contributing to the thousands of ICOs that worth nothing after their sale. Please don't even try to continue what your planning that scheme of yours will not work anymore.

This sounds like a joke, you want to start a business with ICO but you have no plans and ideas, what plans do you have to start ICO? It's a good idea to plan what you need to do first, make a team that is already experienced with the design of your plan, make a research level of success so investors want to invest with ICO that you make, and for marketing there are many ways you can do, build hype with airdrop or Bounty campaign, make videos on youtube etc.

many people have good ideas but lack of marketing
Why does everybody have to do ico on everything nowadays. Many ico projects nowadays are based on only speculation and idea. We need to see already working products that people are ready to adopt.

I think before starting any business you have to known a about the business and if you don't have any idea about the the business so have to consult people that know about it , after you know a lot about the creyptocurrency, can nowb start planning , after planning you can now implement your plan.

If you actually will be unique with your project and exemplary, then you can win certain attention, with the help of bounty hunters and some paid adverts you can hit the market. However at this period do not expect gains from your ICO as the ICO investment drive have dropped so you may bot realize enough from ICO sales. Good projects these days are tested out on exchange and not ICO's
As a matter of fact, the situation is not so bad esp. for those who want to start their own ICO. By the time the team will suggest its product, there may be a new green wave and the chance of success will be great. Don't be afraid of the market anyway!

Hello everyone, my friends and I want to run our first ICO, We have a good idea that I really think can rise above, we have experience in coding.
What we don't have is the idea of how to market our project.
I run into a few guides in this forum like this ICO PR guide, but I'm not sure if it right or the people how to make it have a real experience.
It is even possible to do the advertising by ourself or should we hire a professional company that will do it for us?
Can you recommend on more high quality resources about ICO marketing?
The best ICO marketing campaigns are signature campaigns and content campaigns. I personally feel the posts of bounty hunters really make me curious and interested in some projects. That's my opinion and you should give more money to these two campaigns. What we don't have is the idea of how to market our project.

You can hire marketing agents and community manager companies like Amazix to handle that work for you. But i advise you work more with your project and wait a bit, it's not good time to run a new ICO. Due to bad market conditions, i see many good ICOs even can't reach soft cap.

ICO marketing has actually been trusted by the community, but if we look at the current conditions it seems the opposite. because the project can't do anything when their products reach the lowest prices

Work with other icos first and gain some useful experience, else your ico may be a total failure, overlooking the fact that you may have genuine motives... Just gain experience. Plus i don't advise running an ico instead give out a working product and people will invest...

When I saw this topic , I thought this was a joke for the reason that there would be no normal people will announce that they want to own a cryptocurrency without any idea how to managed or run an ICO. If you really want to have an ICO project, I think it is better for you and for your friends to have a team that have the ideas about marketing so that you can have a successful launching of it.
