If you find yourself consistently on the losing end of a trade, maybe you should reevaluate whether you should even be trading?

It's an acquired skill and definitely not something that noobs should get into, there are a lot of factors involved in how the price moves and very few people actually possess the knowledge required to make a truly accurate prediction. I know I don't, so I don't play that game anymore.

You don't need luck to trade.
You need skill to trade.
If you think the reason you lost money is because of your luck, I suggest you build some skill first, then you will understand.

That's the main problem with trading

You in fact need luck since trading as it is for the vast majority of traders, or rather players, is a variety of gambling. It is not about you personally (as you may not even trade at all), it is about statistics. If we look at trading as such without considering crypto specifically, we will see that most traders end up with losses, losing all or significant part of their balance and then quitting in tears and with curses. Crypto was different for the first years, but now it is more and more like any other market where this rule is fully applicable. And statistically, over time the only chance to win for the majority is by chance alone (pardon the pun). But luck doesn't love time (and vice versa), it comes all of a sudden and goes away as suddenly

I also have similar experience. After that, I will never leave the trade open for long time and will close all trades before going on vacation

It is very good that you have learn from that mistake and it is a very good lesson because you will never forget it again. When you invest in nay cryptocurrency market it is  like a trap which you must always check always. Yes, i have had same problem with coinmarketcap.com showing a different price from the actual price in the exchange. But i came to notice that coinmarketcap.com takes the highest among the exchanges that is trading the coin. So next time check all the exchanges that listed the coin and use the one with the highest price tag.

Done this done that. Everyone loses, no one escapes that.
You don't have to check prices everyday, you just have to set a sell order for which you knew you already profit if all those coins are sold. S very simple technique its the most simple but good way to earn. This is for a short term holders only, I myself have changed much as I do trade manually. If I see the price goes up, that is the time I login to the exchange where I stored my tokens and pick s buy order and sell.

I think my luck is very bad. I can not earn good profits on cryptocurrency trading any day. An example of this is Doge coin. I invested in Doge coin probably 2 months ago. Which I bought 39 satoshi and bought a total of 126000 doge coins. It was almost 2-3 weeks, I did not check the price. But when I check price on coinmarketcap a few days ago, see Doge coin 100 satoshi cross. After that I was very happy. But when I login into exchange, for selling Doge coin, I was shocked, seeing that my coins were sold in 49 satoshi. I did not remember when I had a sell order. After seeing that I was upset. That was not the first time, before several times, I could not sell many coins at a good price 😞

But finally, an education has realized that if you buy a coin for long or short time, then you should check price minimum one time every day.
I was once in this position when everything seems like it’s not working fine and not in the way I wanted them to be. In this kind of situation, whenever you feel things are not alright you just take a break and think about what is happening, what has been the main problem and how to solve it.

If it requires to go through more training, then do it. And by the way, from the way you explained this I don’t think it was trading that you did, it’s probably Hodling.

I don't think that it is about luck, DOGEs growth was obviously a temporary thing, that coin has nothing to have a good price, it won't change it place in current crypto.
Luck is not even something anyone should be considering as a thing when it comes to trading the market. There is a whole lot more than just pure luck as knowledge is even mostly needed in a whole lot of cases when it comes to the market. What most people usually do not always know is that trading is not gambling, and if you end up not having a strategy, the chances of falling in a situation where you will have to sell when you should not, or buy when you should not, will definitely always be there as there is no two ways about it.

It needs your attention and perfect knowledge to look into everything goes in market and act accordingly.
Making decisions based on the situation and then modifying the situation as per our desire and market conditions are the things differentiate trading from gambling. Moreover, in depth observation, we all need luck to favor us all the times.

Not only you but many people are never lucky, I joined the electronic money for nearly a year but my income is very low, I just hope that investing in ICO and get a penny x2 I'm glad

Generally if you buy and sell at the wrong time it will happen that way only. People do follow the trend that they buy only when price is rise and not when it is fall so what happens is that after they have bought at high price it will fall and they end up losing the money.

don't see that is bad luck. because someone learns a lot from a mistake. you are right for a long or short term investment, must check the daily price. but I think it's not effective, because you might not focus when prices fall. it's best to put up high prices and check weekly. it's better and makes you calm. or set an alarm at the specified price. because some trading applications provide it.
Do not say like this, luck has nothing to do with your trading and your statement about trading sounds like you are talking about gambling. You cannot compare trading and gambling and according to your statement even if you are facing difficult situations it means that you are making some mistakes. It needs your attention and perfect knowledge to look into everything goes in market and act accordingly.

Bisq is a Bitcoin Fiat Dex. Use responsibly
Did you learn something or nothing from this ? If you learned something I would suggest you take note of it otherwise you may keep making thesame mistakes.

Fear and regret are worst enemies of trading. Maybe you used the limit order without even remembering... fear could be responsible for this.

Sometimes it is not good to sell or buy at once.  Experienced traders would sell/buy bit by bit as the coi keeps moving up or keeps moving down

At the very least you tried and you learned something. No trader did not experience an early success because of good trading, It does not mean a bad luck i guess its more on having more long patience for doge coin to rise up. This is the reality inside the cryptomarket, no one will ever just win and win. As a trader learn how to come up with market solutions and market analysis.

I think this incident happened with every trader! It is a normal matter in the crypto? Sometimes your favorite coin may dump to bottom, sometimes your ignored coin may pump to the sky high! So, you shouldn't be upset, because now you know something how the crypto market goes and how to manage it! At least you got some profits! One day, you will make huge profits, no worries. Best of Luck.
Yeah It's exactly a normal thing. If there's no pump and dump, traders can't earn profit and exchanges will be gone. It's like playing puzzles where each coin have the turn when he will be rise and I thought it will also depend on their community or their supporter.

Missed the train ride and became upset?

its what you called a FOMO

Don't let that eat you up, there's a lot of train still passing by

I full-heartedly support this view

And it is not just about trading or anything related to investments as a whole but virtually about everything in life. For example, after a break-up with your partner, you will be feeling down and depressed - just like missing the opportunity to buy low or sell high - but if you allow yourself to brood over that and continue to cry over the spilt milk (which is understandable and kind of normal), you will be missing new opportunities springing up here and there, even better ones. To put it simple, never allow the setbacks to make you lose focus on your goals because you shouldn't shut yourself down as in "why bother". Instead, you should keep your options open at all times and be ready to jump at a new opportunity when it presents itself, and then it definitely will

To trade cryptocurrencies require a lot of knowledge and practicing! It can means a lot of bad experience, but in my opinion this is the best way to become a good trader, if you find your own way, and what is the best for you!
This is definitely not about luck!
If you cannot experience bad experiences in the first place, then you will not be mold into a good trader.I believe this is not just about luck, patience is also what we need most.Things may not come in our own expectations, but if we will be patient, everything will be in its right timing.

And losses is a fraction of trading and so this should be anticipate by traders, surely at first it's vital but along the way it will all make sense. Don't let losses overtake you but treat this as a challenge. Market is too unsteady for us but if we utilize this, it will make everything clear. Though sometimes, we had more losses than profit but this shouldn't stop us, we wouldn't know when will be our favorable day.

This is serving as a learning process for you in this market. Do not be discouraged by what happened. At least, their was profits in it. Just make sure you make the right decisions no matter how little the profits are
It is not only luck dependent but mainly it is depending upon the knowledge you have about the crypto world. If you are making it gambling and saying that luck is here then you are wrong and is irrelevant to say like this. Being disappoint here does not make sense because if you are doing wrong then you have to proceed towards the actual and real knowledge how to stay successful here is the right solution.

Timings are sometimes connected to luck, however it doesn't end there

If you woke up and forgot to set things up, stop limit/stoploss, etc..

then its a lesson that should be aware of

If you believe luck has to be responsible for your woes in cryptocurrency,  I will say it is not the same for millions of people trading and investing in cryptocurrency.  I think luck has little to do with the level of success you enjoy in cryptocurrency,  skill and proper understanding of cryptocurrency and good planning does!

Yes, I believe that every people that is making trading currently having same luck over and over again. But that luck doesn't define them and their earnings. They still go on snd moved on because nothing will happen if you will only stick to that thing and will not earn any profit. Having bad luck is psrt of a life showing the destiny are not always favor in your side.
