Ethereum is one of the most successful projects. It seems to me that there is still no such coin that would create serious competition to the Ethereum. I think that in the near future we must wait for the minimum price of the Ethereum coin and buy it for all our money))

Yes, of course I'm agree with is the fact that Ethereum has much better user safety platform than Bitcoin. At the end of the day, if bitcoin is not implemented as a mainstream payment method in our daily lives, its function is redundant. And Ethereum has much better use-case whereby developers can create platform on top of it. The only issues we see with it is scalability at the moment, as well as the fact that its a specialized programming language Solidity that is required (which is not a bad thing, but many developers are still new to it). Don't panic and stay calm, I do believe in this good coin performance in next 2 years.

I've been reading more and more bearish reports about ETH, suggesting the price could fall to the $140 range.

In fact, I am very optimistic about Ethereum. Ethereum has a very good technology, it is the best cryptocurrency after Bitcoin, and its value is very high. Even if the price drop is serious now, I think this is a good time to invest.

I like Ethereum, the coins I receive by implementing Bounties are exchanged in Ethereum.

Bitcoin has a lot of brand recognition, history and mythos behind it (who really is Satoshi?). Since the price started at essentially $0, you have a lot of stories of "Bitcoin millionaires" that pop up every time a major price point is hit.

Bitcoin is also comparatively easy to grasp. Even if you don't understand blockchain, the concept of online payment systems and transfers has been around for a while. Most of Bitcoin's adoption to date has been about encouraging retailers to accept it, making Bitcoin ATMs, etc, as well as the more fanatic members encouraging everyone to buy and hold (most people can get away with just buying some Bitcoin on coinbase and never even knowing what a Bitcoin address is.) Unfortunately its hugely deflationary price makes it mostly useless as a currency and instead just a speculative instrument.

Ethereum is a whole other beast, and people are still just focused on it as a currency/store of value. It is trivial to simulate the primary aspect of Bitcoin on Ethereum (i.e. a fixed-supply easily-transferable digital good) (see eBitcoin or the dozen copycats). However Ethereum's value is not tied to its usefulness as a currency, but rather as a gateway to interacting with the Ethereum ecosystem. Its utility therefore isn't really tied to its price or volatility, and it's been repeated many times that ETH is not meant to be a currency.

This concept is a bit harder to grasp, and is much less flashy than "digital gold". Mainstream adoption will only come once Ethereum has some killer apps that are easily adopted by the majority.

I can't say whether the ETH price will reach up to bitcoin, but it will definitely go up, I think it might be one of the best coins out there for long-term investment.

The recent dropped in eth price might be the increasing of blockchain network that other cryptocurrency has launch which is an enhancing version. This is also why the price decline so rapidly this past weeks. Just my 2cents..

well as we can see now, eth is still under btc. will it ever reach its level? i doubt it to be honest, because there's some dependence from btc

i believe in ETH too, and this year or maybe next year i expect the price around 2.5k usd per 1 ETH. And now i'm trying to raise the amount of me ETH in my bag.

I do not think Ethereum is superior to BTC. I do not think you will land at the Bitcoin crypto market. It is the most reliable and known coin of the market. Bitcoin will continue to be people's favorite money for many years.

maybe it will happen if there is a lot of support for eth and makes eth one of the benefits that provide benefits at all times. and I think that what might happen if the price of eth reaches the price of bitcoin this year if investors on eth increase more

I believe that the ethereum will be even more popular in the future. When the team makes the platform faster, the platform will be used more actively. We are waiting for an update of the ethereum. I invest in the ethereum.

In my opinion eth suffers a great dump this past weeks, but i know eth will go up and go back to the price where it is once was.
