ETH has problems with scalability and the promised upgrades are postponed to 2020. In Crypto world time is crucial and solutions should be fast.
Up to now, this year is not successful for ETH as it is losing the the market share against BTC.

I believe in ETH. It seems to me that this coin suffered very badly because of the strong market decline and the fact that investors stopped investing in ETH.
In my opinion , ETH is now more hot than BTC because the explosion of ICOs base on ETH Blockchain. During the recent dip, ETH price even a little come up, all altcoins and BTC holders lose funds but ETH holders still have profit. So i think that ETH will reach BTC price this year. What do you think guys?
right, I think ETH is a very special altcoin very different from other altcoins.even though the price is still below bitcoinGold ETh remains the best investment choice after bitcoin...
While the ethertum remains the most popular platform for the functioning of smart contracts, but how long this will be continued is unknown. Still, I hope that common sense will prevail and the team of ethereum will continue to develop its platform.
Most of the people that deal with the cryptocurrency hold ETH. However, some alts, especially the cheap but good ones will give you more income.!!!!

Etherum reaching the price of bitcoin will make it the biggest market and also will create a huge supply of Etherum that is very very manipulated as Etherum can't ever reach equal to the price of bitcoin because of the fact that there is infinite supply of Etherum in existence as compared to mere 21 million bitcoins ever created in existence. So it is theoretically impossible for Etherum to reach the market cap of bitcoin.

it is indeed that eth can gain more demand that it was today since many running ico's are using ethereum blockchain, but i dont think that it is much hotter than btc, and its price wont even close to the price of btc, btc will still the most valuable crypto in the market. indeed, there are very many who use Ethereum as the basis of an ICO blockchain technology, but I think that the greatness can't beat bitcoin, let alone having to beat the bitcoin price this year, I don't think it will ever happen
I think Ethereum is very potential coin now. I am also in love in ethereum. It is more potential and smart contract.

ETH will not cost 0 (at least in close future). They has big community and partnerships with different big companies (including banks and other financial institutes).

I don't agree. Yes ETH has the money to spend for their operations. But the questions is... Do people still trust ETH? We all know ETH and BTC become so horrific this year. There are a lot of altcoins whose aiming their current position right now. If this altcoin will have the guts, it can be a promotion or a new partnership like a company, it will boost its current rank, just like what happened to XRP last year.
I hope ETH won't reach BTC price this year. This kind of bull run will do no good to it at all. let it climb slow and steady

I like this post - someone over on the "EOS vs ETH, which is more desirable" thread didn't agree with us much.
ETH might even be having a worse time than what is actually the case due to so many tokens being under Ethereum with ERC-20. All of those rise and fall and ETH may be pulled a bit with them. HODL! The whole market has to recover. (Don't put it all in ETH though.. Diversify.

technical analysis shows that at the current moment buyers do not have a strong interest in buying, and hence the euterium will still fall in price to those values that will be of interest for mass procurement. From the point of view of trading now is not a very good entry point, but if you are aiming to invest, you can buy a little Of course, in a long time for several years the etherium will grow in price
I always speak about Etherium well. A very strong coin.. Its ERC-20 platform is used by the majority of new tokens. And Etherium always needed as fuel...
All I can say about ETH is that, ETH are much useful and it is now popular now a days many people prepare to use ETH because it has a good quality that can survive in the future.There are also tendency that this ETH might over pass Bitcoin due to each powerful quality.
This is a hard time for all the cryptocurrencies. Not only ethereum, even bitcoin was so much dumped in past few weeks but I think it will recover soon.
