New ICO"s are using ETH for the blockchain 2.0 system which makes ETH very fast and trustworthy.
Future of ETH is very good. In future it will be needed very vastly. It has gained huge popularity. I hope the current situation will change very soon.
I agree if the price of current ethereum is not the beginning of the future of ethereum.
Actually Ethereum has many serious competitors like EOS, Tezos, Lisk etc. But Ethereum is already an approved product used for multiple purposes. Also supported by large community including big companies. I think Ethereum is one of the best candidate in the cryptocurrency market for long term investment.

In my opinion , ETH is now more hot than BTC because the explosion of ICOs base on ETH Blockchain. May be in your dream will Eth surpasses bitcoin. ETH that is hot than BTC in your opinion is now wiser than anything, dipping so badly and frustrating so many investors.
I think Eth has full potential to reach and over come BTC but not in this year. It is a story in the furthur future.
in my opinion if investing in Etherium is only interested in short-term profits, most people do that. Still etherium will not be able to replace or compete with bitcoin prices.
