What drivers are you guys using for the 570 with the mod ROM?  Any issues with RELIVE due to MOD roms?

If you dont want to use splitters I suppose, but I fail to see the point considering you need a normal PSU anyways.

I did some more power testing. The power draw per card from the wall (measured by plugging both the riser and the 8 pin power into a dedicated 94% eff power supply and multiplying the reading by .94)

Is 138W (eth only, 0.84V). 50W of this is from the PCI riser!

pci slots can draw up to 75 wats , even if your card was plugged into the board mo riser

it would still draw close to identical wattage frome the slot

This only has the PCI-E connections, you would still need a PSU, that can power the risers aswell

There's PCI-E powered risers, but yes you'd still need a low wattage normal PSU with it, overall cost is down, and efficiency is up.

I see that it has only 8 PCI-E slots, but for six cards you'r gonna need a total of 12 slots.

UPDATE2:

The Nitro+ RX580 seems perfectly happy to run on just a single 8-pin power connector. However from my tests, this reduced hashrates by 1% and power consumption by 1% consistently

This is the news i've been waiting for, thanks a lot for sharing.
Im geting 12 Nitro+ to play with Smiley

I hate using 2xPSU on my rigs, and mostly have EVGA G2 1300w, which without adapters cant connect 6x6+8 pin.

Great news indeed  Cool

Why arent you using this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007JNUSJY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

With this:
http://www.parallelminer.com/product/x5-breakout-board-adapter-compatible-with-hp-1200-watt-dps-1200fb/

Add a dinky low wattage power supply to power the the rest

Do the pcie cables come with one of those? that combo looks awesome.. I've usually just got the evga 1300w

Could you share your claymore settings for dual mining?

On my 480s I use about -dcri 25 and dcri 20 for my 470s... this is with the new v9.2.. values were about 5 higher with the old version

aka "whocares"
I haven't seen anything in this thread that is that great - 108 watts is the best and that is mining Eth Only - or with DCR at an 8 setting Dual mining with 125 watts/GPU

There are plenty of sub 100 watt roms to mine ETH on 480's.  Huh

The rest of the measurements are using software that DOES NOT measure the power usage of the card, only the actual GPU die

limited edition nitro is expensive as fok tho Sad

Yeah, its 310eur here in Europe.
And the normal Nitro+ 580 8GB is crap, the memory is really bad with these first batches, slower than the cheap 570 4GB cards.

€343,49 where I live..  Angry. Anyone any experience with the Sapphire PULSE Radeon 8GD5. That one is priced €275,-

but one thing that I can't understand are the prices in newegg of these graphic cards.

570 costs much cheaper than 470 while it gives almos the same hashrate, same with 580=480

"The invisible hand" (c) A. Smith

Probably this cheap 570 has a shittiest memory type and ASIC quality of 60%?

Never understood why people buy the 480/580 for a $100 premium when you can pick up the 470/570 for 170-180 and it hashes the same.

They have higher resale value.

Besides that, higher stock clock = higher stable undervolted clock = more dualmining hash

Here in Canada sometimes I see price for RX480 4GB ref as low as $240, it's even cheaper than most RX470.

I nabbed a few of those and they are all samsung memory.

Oh so these great performances come from the fact that this is a limited edition... Sadly, since I prefer picking many cheap cards, I think I will not opt for this one...

Its more about future resell value. If I'm squeaking out an extra 1Mh/s Eth and 250MH/s Dcr, it offsets about $125/yr, and the card itself would sell for $50 more later
