We never fail to remind gamblers about this but there are always gamblers whose head is hard and will gamble recklessly. It's not rare but many people are actually betting using the money which is intended for something important.

It happens because their extra money which is intended for gambling and other non-important things are way too small and they sometimes feel non-contented after they use it all. If they really want to allocate more money in gambling then they need to minimize their food, electricity consumption and others. It's called sacrificing or they can also do a side hustle to support their habits without affecting their normal living.

This is what really harms gambling reputation, gambling is for the most part harmless and most people can gamble responsibly without any kind of negative long term effect on their lives.

But there is a very small minority of people which cannot gamble responsibly and lose a great deal of money, and this affects the reputation of casinos but also of gamblers around the world, as there is still many people that think that if you like to gamble then you are irresponsible with your money or that you have some sort of gambling addiction problem when that is not the case.

Alot of things contributes to how a person view things in life most especially at the early age if one does not build good financial discipline and also being able to have self-control it will effect the way one act a see risk, in ops explanation he mentioned how he use his school fees to gamble and lost everything.

To some this is a bad move, but what if he won the bets and made good profits from risking his school fees, but it is advisable to risk what you can afford to lose.

Maybe it has something to do with how parents can educate their children so that if parents can do it well and correctly, their children will also not get their parents into trouble.

You're right it's better to stop for a while when luck in gambling is not on our side, actually the type of person in gambling has his own time when he gambles and if we experience a losing streak then it's better to stop at that time. there are times when things like that can trigger ridiculous actions such as chasing losses and betting with large multiples that can be fatal to the finances he has. The pattern of games in slots or other games must be considered with every turn you bet in order to maintain the level of victory in gambling. Knowing when is enough and too much can really matter a lot. If you are in it for entertainment, the more you should make limitations for you to not regret later on. Otherwise, you'll just end up like everyone else who lost their control in their gambling ways that eventually became addicted.

It's okay mate, what is important is that we have successfully put our flaws behind while carrying the lesson that the experience taught us. I learned it the hard way but I guess that was my wake up call to avoid more losses in the future, from that point, I stopped from going into the casinos and gambling house because I feel that it's not for me. These days, I'm okay with betting on basketball games and combat sports sometimes to keep me entertained whenever I need some past time.

All in all we just need to accept that it is not always rainbows and butterflies, we need to accept that there will be some losses we may encounter soon, the moment we will not stop from playing and continuously betting having a false hope of winning that match and trying to get back what we've lost, it will be the start that we will fall into addiction and frustrations.

Truth! It's okay that we had our own share of shortcomings in terms of gambling, almost everyone here had experienced the same story. We should learn to move on and be wiser from that experience so that it won't happen to us again, although there will some point again that we will lose some money, but we should be responsible enough to just spend what is allowed so that we will just lose what we can afford.
