You have to work on yourself if you want to continue gambling since you already know where you are lacking. Self-control and discipline are important in gambling, you don't have to win all the time, or must win after losses. If you could take care of those and also have your gambling strategies and plans, I believe you will be a better gambler.

That makes the two of us, I don't gamble because I want to make money or be rich the way many have the mindset, I gamble for entertainment, and that is mostly when I am bored. My vast experience in trading makes this easy for me since I earn regularly through it.

I would have loved to read about your experience in gambling, and I can assure you that people will not be surprised as a worse gambler than you exists. I was a full-fledged adult when I started gambling, which might have helped me from being addicted to gambling anyhow. Till now, I always have positive experiences with gambling, the money made might be little but it is not something that calls for regrets.

that is a sad story as well, Imagine gathering 0.8 bitcoin ? that would be at least 15k at this moment and a considered huge amount that had lost because of like what greediness , sorry to hear that.

I myself had this experience in one of my favorite site , I already won 19 hundred dollars but continue to go on till I lost all the funds even my capital.

This is a very simple concept but unfortunately there are many gamblers out there which are incapable of doing something like this, and the main reason why this is the case is because of their false expectations.

There are many people out there that despite all the evidence that you can find on the Internet actually believe they can become profitable if they gamble for long enough, not understanding that something like this is only true for the house, which has an edge over the player, and the longer and more money a player gambles the more money they will lose.

Only a few gamblers are able to discipline themselves completely.  Even though I am aware of this thing, there are times when I got out of control where I bet more than I planned.  I know how disastrous it is when we spend more than we can afford to lose on gambling.  I also have a share of this kind of experience but I am lucky I managed to fix things before they become a problem for me.  I learned my lesson from these mistakes and I always try to have a grasp of myself whenever I am engaging in gambling activities.



True it is common sense but there are times when a gambler got trapped in the game.  No matter how hard they try to stop, they got hooked on it for several reasons.  You may not know the feeling of being trapped in gambling but once you experience it I bet you would understand those people who were trapped in gambling activity more.

Its common sense on which it would really be that you would be fucking up yourself if you dont really make yourself that having good self  control and made out decisions.You wouldn't really be that dumb
on not to be aware on whats happening around specially into your finances.If you do notice that you are on a losing streak then it would be understandable that you should stop.
Dont make things even more worst by stopping completely and calling it a day.Dont make yourself that emotionally impulsive when it comes to gambling decisions.
If you dont like for yourself to be fucked up then you should be mindful on your actions and stick and be disciplined.

Luckily I don't have any bad memories about gambling, I've never been one to bet a lot of money, I just gamble just to pass the time and have fun sometimes!

This is exactly the very worst day.
Sometimes, our greedy desires will actually make us even lower. many incidents like this, using money that should be for certain needs to gamble. I often wonder if these people don't think twice about doing it. But I am aware that when we have been hit by excessive lust and greed, such thoughts or considerations will disappear before the arrival of regret. And finally, the regret of this gambling loss will always happen when bad things have happened.

remembering from the experience I had when I was very young and didn't have a good experience with gambling then I can't judge those who can't control themselves when gambling

when we are feeling very lucky (when always win) or want to reverse capital (when we are experiencing defeat) then we will not stop gambling until the remaining capital runs out. knowing the moment when to stop is very important, don't be too confident especially when playing slots

Expectations leads to disappointment so it's better to not expect winning on your gambling activities and aim for enjoyment instead so you won't feel bad whenever you lose but still be able to enjoy winning. I also try to do this every now and then however I often feel disappointed whenever I've been gambling for a long time and won some amount but end up losing.

It's better to also know when to stop gambling especially when we are already on a profit so that way we can maximize our pleasure as well as be able to earn and avoid loses.

The number one rule of gambling is risk what you can afford to lose. To start with, you made a silly decision by playing with your school fees. Secondly, whenever you're gambling and there's a serial lose please take a break and not trying to recover your lose else you'll end up losing all.

Play expecting not to win most days until you find yourself lucky or on a good streak and then only then increase your rate of play or size.   Makes sense to learn all the games first using small amounts, in an actual physical casino it might be a bit embarrassing to use tiny amounts but online play as you wish till you find a path to make betting larger worth it.

My general take on life is, anything we are not fully grateful for we lose.   Some of the richest people are not fully grateful and so are not happy or appreciative of all they have won in life, the correct path to winning on any game is to appreciate and be thankful for any luck at any size you play on.  If patience is kept and the game is learnt when it really matters you have the correct weighting in your head to know when to take the gamble or to avoid risk.

Not everything is negative, what we can draw as a conclusion is that obviously when we play long-term in a single day, we are going to make losses, that is something very true, second, if we start to see ourselves, slots should be played with a lot of money. Many people don't understand this. Once they win some amount in gambling, they are willing to win more on the same day and that is where they miss the trick. One of the best classic examples why we should only gamble when we have some spare funds, we already know that the money we had is already allocated specifically and we shouldn't use it for other reasons aside from emergency purpose. Although I can't really blame what the OP did because we have our own share of story and I don't if someone can relate but personally, most of the time, I think fate will be playing against us if we're using some funds that aren't allocated for gambling.

You have been able to control yourself which many people are not naturally capable of. In Gambling If someone gambles depending on his income, even if he loses there, there is no effect. But when gambling is done by borrowing money, complications can arise. Which never happened before with your life. You have succeeded in this aspect.

I do not gamble with money that will affect my life. I have my own limits. Also, I generally manage to hold my own in this regard, but once I gambled with borrowed money and lost. After that day, I never did anything like that again. Sometimes the bad experiences we have can be a good lesson for us.

Self-control is really important especially if you're in winning streak and already profit. We think we're going to be lucky if we continue to play not knowing it's a mistake because you were not able to enjoy your winnings. You'll only realize the mistake after losing it all. This is common in gambling because of our greed to gain more. So gamble in moderation to not have an experience that you will regret later on.

When a gambler wins too much on one day and continues there, he cannot bring in that winning money. Because in excessive gambling, that money will go again and there is also a risk of losing his capital. That's why the word in gambling is often heard is "control". If a gambler can control himself then he will get success in gambling.

stop when we were in profits was an obligation for us, continue on next day and enjoy our profits today. keep spinning was not good solution for us , goal seeking profits must keep reminded. consistent earning profits no matter it just small amount would be better than got huge profits at once but after that we lose .

As much I think that people should be free to gamble, it is also true that people need to exercise a lot of caution when they do it, it is very easy to think that somehow you will be able to overcome the odds and make money when you gamble, but the truth is that this is something incredibly difficult to do that only a handful of professionals can accomplish, so anyone else that is thinking about making money while they gamble is only looking for trouble, which is what happened to you.
