About 19.5 days left until blockreward change from 1000 to 100.

Someone can make a countdown to block 250k? GJ made a nice one last time.

If the date and time are fixed it's easy to make one for free. Just Googled:

http://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/create
http://mycountdown.org/

etc...

But in this case time is not fixed so how can you do that?

I do the math this way: number of blocks left divided by plusminus 320k a day. Equals time left in days.

Clear, but there is some variance in resolved blocks per day. So the countdown is not accurate. At last there can be a diff of a few hours or more.

Do you know the url of the last made countdown ticker? Maybe we can use the same and just adjust the endtime if neccesary...

Made by GJ with the change to digishield is what i can find: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=554412.msg10322267;topicseen#msg10322267

Daily Guldencoin volume charts - T E S T I N G  Grin

No historical data so we start with a clean graph. Will show public one of these days...

small preview - more will follow coming days

http://guldencoinweb.nl/trade-volume.php

--

Graph will show 24 hour volume @ bittrex, litebit and bleutrade.
Every day shows volume of that day, only last (current) day show last 24 hour till 0:00  Wink

Horizontal shows date and verticle Euro.

Great stuff! I've been wanting a proper metric of this for ages, can't understand why places like coinmarketcap don't show volume over time, to me volume is a million times more important than the present price.

This graph shows volume in Euro for now, every day more data is added automatically.
I will add a second graph with volume in Guldencoin too.

If someone wants more of different data, well... just scream  Cool

Great job on the marketing! wow!  agree Guldencoin should be focused on the Dutch first.

looking at the litebit json api.. https://www.litebit.eu/requests/jsonp.php?call=nlg

{"market":"nlg","currency":"EUR","supply":26572079,"buy":"0.00074710","sell":"0.00059912","volume":"170,296.33596069","last":"0.00074710"}

does that mean litebit has 26 million NLG??  is that right? Only 11 million NLG for sale at bittrex.. so litebit holds that many NLG in reserve?

This is litebit's payout address: https://explorer.guldencoin.com/#/address/GZxv6W747MWN2X2vBJJwDxdSd2NdFSrumu

As far as I can see they buy directly from Bittrex and don't hold any NLG.

So, what you're saying is that litebit only functions as an intermediar, at least when it comes to Guldencoin?

Is there a good chance prices will stay where they are after the reward change. Reason I ask is because I want to buy some more coins after I submit my income tax returns next month and receive some money back.

300 blocks are found daily. 300 * 100 = 30 000 * 0.00000300 = 0.09 btc worth of supply at these prices instead of additional 1 btc worth of supply entering the market every day. This does not mean prices will rise 10 times because there is already over 250 million in supply and traders will take profits at 350-400 sat. Worst case there "might" be a spike in price to 600 and it will level at around 450 after dumps from short term investors.

The above is my expectations over the next 3 months.

I want to recall my above prediction on price. There is just too much other things happening with this coin and I don't want to be accused of inaccuracies.

Why would anyone be accused, for simply sharing thoughts surrounding the block reward change  Wink

It just shows how grossly over valued some of these other coins are when guldencoin is under 200k marketcap.

Don't worry so much about what other coins are doing/saying Smiley

Just keep focusing on positive ways to move this coin forward, people are not stupid they will recognise which coins are the leaders and which are the followers and only the leaders will remain in the long term.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

And the reason we're seeing these weird posts is because we have so much going on. Positive news always attracts a certain amount of envy.

@24alttrade how do people react when you tell them about Guldencoin? I can imagine people will be triggered by the word 'gulden'?

We have not been telling the customers about Guldencoin and Digibyte,  The merchants love the idea and have been looking for something cool that could have the potential to get people hyped and excited.

I have told the merchants that accepting Digibyte and Guldencoin will be free for the first 500 transactions, I will pay this as a introduction so i can say to them, The costs to start accepting Digital currency is €0, No contract and no costs so why not try it?

When we have more merchants in the street i want to spread the news and i can already tell you guys that we have some support coming from the mayor of Zoetermeer and all his minions  Grin

I don't if i told this already but i did a interview last week, The video and interview will be used internally and viewed to the mayor.
Offcourse i told them allot about what we want and planning to do.

That's cool. As long as there is some emphasis on Guldencoin within the NL borders and the media, as that is where this currency's focus is, although it won't be staying within NL. It would be nice to have that balance for both Guldencoin and Digibyte I think. As long as everybody knows which is which and what is what – how to use it et cetera, that'll be most beneficial for everyone involved. Don't know what others think about this though.

Grin

It'll be funny to see a mayor endorse Guldencoin and Digibyte on the record. Great progress!

It makes sense for DGB and NLG to work together in other ways. Think of mining. DGB mining end in 21 years and then rely on transaction fees. Guldencoin is now mining for 60 years for 1.68 billion coin. DGB can then merge mine NLG for extra networking protection. Also I have said many times DGB is for Asia and other continents with NLG focus on Netherlands and maybe some Europe.
