How is the purchasing power of NLG determined when buying something? Is it based off the last market price?

Price at that moment on litebit.

Is the price based off the orderbook? So if I make a purchase using 10 000 NLG it will sell 10 000 NLG on the market and give me the avg?

It is based on the price on litebit in Euro as far as I know. So if the price on litebit is at 1,60 Euro for 1000 NLG and at that moment buy a sandwich, you pay that price. Maybe someone can make it more clear.

F.e.: Sandwich 4 Euro = 2500 NLG.

But I don't know how litepaid handles it further.

The price used to be over 8000 NLG, this is very good!
Now we just have to wait until it reaches 4 Euro x 2,20371 = 8,81484 NLG Smiley

Thanks! Just registered.

Also put some support around the 300sat area @ bittrex Cheesy.. Already started getting a position weeks ago and have bought bits and pieces along the road. Seems things are about to get really interesting with all these great developments and progress!

I'm in and will be doing some introductions to the team...

We have updated the Guldencoin timeline with the latest merchants. Really great progress for August so far and we still have 8 days to go.

https://timeline.guldencoin.com/

This is EPIC btw.. loved it the first time I saw it! Again, great progress

Thanks for the positive comments Ronald, we really appreciate the feedback. Smiley

Windows Phone is an underestimated platform, it has a lot of users. If we can get an app for that platform that would be awesome as well.

Having  a iOS app is going to put goldencoin above the rest.Don't worry about the anon noise not one of those coins even has a android wallet yet, if you still plan to cater for other mobile platforms nlg really will be a top 60 coin by the end of the year. Depending on how things go the coin might be the first one to give litecoin a real go in 2 years.

Why are we even talking about if Android or iOS is used more? It's not about which one gets used more. It's about providing tools for the entire market. Android and iOS cater a ton of people as over 60 percent (stats from 2013, so probably even more now) of the Dutch population has a smartphone. We're not here to cater just the cryptocommunity. Guldencoin is about catering to everyone in The Netherlands, getting more people into using NLG and we need iOS ánd Android for that. Cheesy

Blackberry? app
Windows 8 mobile? app
java app for old phones with camera?

The percentages indicate the priority we have with each platform.
Android was the first to do because there are open-source libraries that we could use and change to create the Guldencoin app.
Now iOS is the logical choice because of the percentages.. This doesn't mean that the other platforms are excluded from getting an app. It's just that their marketshare isn't very large (anymore), so they have lower priority.
But then, Guldencoin IS open-source, so anyone is free to create an app for any of those platforms. Since the Guldencoin Core (based on the original satoshi client) is written in C, C++, I guess writing a Windows mobile app isn't very hard. And for blackberry, I've heard there's some sort of android port support.. So maybe the android app can be ported?

Hmm, must have missed something... Last time I saw the stats IOS and Android had 93% of the Dutch market. With Android around 80%...

True, more or less. Except a lot of Android users are non crypto users, i.e. teenagers. Like 13 year old boys and girls who use Android phones because of the simple fact that most of those plastic thingies are cheap.

Ha, let me guess, you're a Iphone user... Sorry but I'm an thirtheen year old boy. Strange thing is the entire company consists of those kids... Wink

Correct. Now when I read this back I think I could have chosen my words a bit different.., excuses moi.
