Maybe an idea? Not for now, everything is going well and there have to be not that much updates in a short time, but maybe later on. Also less total coins that will be generated could be considered?

That's a good question. maybe if you pay them a visit and explain to them how easy it is and there are three Subways now accepting maybe they'll come around.

This is a good point.

I am actually looking for 1 or 2 people in the community to help me approach online merchants, basically if I was fluent at Dutch I would do it myself. So who has the time and energy to do this with me and then we can split the NLG rewards.

On this point we just aiming for swisscex for now as we need a backup exchange but it's not as urgent as it was before as litepaid can still use the last known price on bittrex if bittrex goes down for maintenance, the problem is if Bittrex had to go down for a extended period of time then swisscex does qualify as a reliable exchange. That is a great approach, imo it's best this coin rises slowly and undetected as long as possible. Most coins get hyped and die out after a couple months because they have no use. This has use but if it has more use before it gets noticed by big players it will go a long way!!!

I agree. But besides focus on getting more Merchants, other marketing might be usefull aswell.. It would be great if some articles about Guldencoin show up on popular Dutch technical websites. How about Tweakers? Do they already have posted an article about GuldenCoin?

Allright, a topic is atleast something. I don't think Telegraaf is going to publicate anything about GuldenCoin.. I bet most of their readers don't even know much about Bitcoin. They do sometimes publicate an article about Bitcoin though.

The good thing about Asic miners is that it will secure the network a lot more. The bad news is that if you have these miners pointing at your coin there intention is to dump to pay off the bills. That is also a good thing too so it keeps people selling for others to buy. You don't want a currency full of hoarders which most POS coins end up being.

NLG has the perfect amount of coins imo to run as fully fledged currency and cheaper for more people to get into initially.
