1)How high do you think Bitcoin can appreciate in price in the nearest future, let us say in the next 3 decades?
4)Bitcoin has experienced a sporadic growth in our great country Nigeria, and with cost of living skyrocketing in Nigeria as a result of inflation, do you think more Nigerians would adopt Bitcoin in the coming months/years?

Very nice discussion you bring here and hopefully all man fit put mount to keep this discussion alive. Oil dun finish for my pocket if not I for dun pour you small as this post worth am. Make we dey see shall if I get something anytime soon I go remember this post. Now to put mount for this discussion;

1: Normally na only 2 million remain to mine now and I hear say e dey take around 10minutes to mine one. This one mean say bitcoin dun scarce be dat, everybody now go dey find way to hodl unto their coins unlike before wey na just trading most people dey do. This one go make Bitcoin increase wella for my own opinion. If we dey look 30years I go say $1M (yes one million dollars), first e go try achieve $100k den go dey struggle to keep that trading price then during the next bull cycle, we go see price above $100k.

4: Nothing dun happen yet compared to wetin dey come, if you ask me. Wait make real adoption enter wella first then you go see massive numbers from the country. E go take just one better government to pass crypto friendly law and all companies go rush come established themselves for Nigeria. Already  this companies dey find wey penetrate Nigerian market. Watch most exchange & well established cryptocurency get Nigerian ambassadors already. With high rank of graduates and less work, bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general go be home to many Nigeria youths.
Ps: I go answer others later make I no go post article.

Bitcoin being used exactly how the owner deems fit, but Bitcoin should also be appreciated as a currency, and not just an investment.
What I noticed is that although bitcoin was also created to be a currency. Bitcoin is actually money, has an intrinsic value and can be used for p2p payment. While having it, some people use it for p2p payment, but most bitcoin users nowadays prefer it to be used for cross border payments (as it is common in Nigeria), but most importantly, people are using bitcoin for investment. This later reason is why most people are buying bitcoin because they know if they buy at this specific time, the price would have increased after some months or years.

I would also like to know from the community: How many stores/shops/businesses, etc, have you seen/witnessed/experienced accepting payment in Bitcoin in Nigeria?
I think the CBN ban would discourage many Nigerians. There should be some stores and other businesses that are accepting bitcoin in Nigeria. These were the two we have discussed about on this thread before:

Nigerian hotel becomes country’s first to accept Bitcoin payments
Inside Kano School That Accepts Cryptocurrency As Fees

There would definitely be many more, but some people would not disclose it to avoid CBN issue because as more people are using bitcoin in Nigeria, the more people would want to accept it for payment.

I am not recommending these sites because I have not used their service before: (DYOR)

and with time might replace fiat due to inflation and other factors , definitely am a believer of a bitcoin my children will definitely do crypto smiles invest now to make a fortune in the future.
As far as i know and have studied, it is more or less impossible that Bitcoin would replcace Fiat currencies irrespective of fiat inflation/devaluation, fiat would still be the number one medium of exchange, and mind you that Bitcoin was not even created to oust fiat currencies, it works just fine as an alternative. No offense intended mate, but when you talk about making a fortune of Bitcoin, it somewhat sounds like having a sole aim of only wanting to getting rich via Bitcoin investment, and it is likewise contradictory to your earlier statement of Bitcoin replacing fiat (which is impossible imo), don't get me wrong, i am not saying it is bad, but isn't that the sort of mindset affecting Bitcoins growth as a currency/actual medium of exchange? I am a believer of Bitcoin being used exactly how the owner deems fit, but Bitcoin should also be appreciated as a currency, and not just an investment.

Okay, with the elections many months away from now, i crave your indulgence to change the topic a little bit with a new discussion. It is no longer news that the 19th million Bitcoin was mined a few days ago, so i will like to know what our amiable community thinks about it in relation to what it entails for the Bitcoin network in general, in terms of growth, mass adoption, regulation, appreciation in price and other whatnots.

There are about 2 million Bitcoins left to be mined, well i know we won't all be alive to see the remaining two get mined, but i am looking at the nearest feature, let us say in the next 30-40 years, how do you envisage the growth of Bitcoin, we all know the network has a stipulated amount of coins (21 million) to be mined, thus as time goes on we would thrive on scarcity amidst supplus demand, which invariably would cause an appreciation in price, thus:

1)How high do you think Bitcoin can appreciate in price in the nearest future, let us say in the next 3 decades?
2)What is your take on mass adoption? When does it seem possible that the network would achieve/attain mass adoption?
3)Quite rightly Bitcoin is a good hedge to fiat devaluation, but it isn't still a 'safe haven asset' nor a store of value like gold, do you ever think the network would get to the point of being a 'safe haven asset'/store of value?
4)Bitcoin has experienced a sporadic growth in our great country Nigeria, and with cost of living skyrocketing in Nigeria as a result of inflation, do you think more Nigerians would adopt Bitcoin in the coming months/years?
5)Are you a believer in Bitcoins long term sustainability?
For the past few years now bitcoin have proven it starting from October 12 2009 when bitcoin price was just 5.02$ so for about 13 years now bitcoin have about 9,500X this have proven that in the nearest future bitcoin will go beyond the moon  and with time might replace fiat due to inflation and other factors , definitely am a believer of a bitcoin my children will definitely do crypto smiles invest now to make a fortune in the future.

Peter Obi is also a strong contender for the presidential ticket, and personally he seems to be the best candidate to represent PDP, honestly isn't it time for the likes of Atiku to give us a break, what does he have left to offer. Nigerian politics is really appalling to say the very least, the most 'qualified' candidate never wins, it is always the most popular/corrupt that takes the day, i have a slight hope that the 2023 General Elections would be a whole lot different that what we have had in the past, Nigerians need to change the status quo, enough of being inure to sufferings, let the best/most qualified candidate be elected.
Obi is a very strong contender but we know how things work in Nigerian politics. Apart from say Atiku get corrupt records for this Nigeria, even at that Atiku remains the strongest contender for PDP. Honestly, if Atiku is genuinely interested, nobody in PDP can deny him the ticket.
Another permutation is that, if APC zones their ticket to South, PDP will capitalise on that and return their ticket to North in order to be able to battle APC.
PDP cannot give SE ticket, not at this time. Unless Obi will still agree Atiku/Obi ticket.

Na the koko you talk so. Make we forget about all those old cargo politicians, na them keep this country this bad way weh e bi. Since 2015 till now wetin we don benefit from APC government. I don't know you guys stand on next year presidential election, but j would say what ever it is let us do the right thing, make we vote for credibility and not for cheap payment during the election, we Don see many guys wey don show interest for the presidential race mata, some of which are old while other very old, and right now our options of credibility dey slim.

This no be any form of endorsement, but if we dey go with capacity, ability, requirements I believe say Peter Obi get am full ground, so far out of those wey don show interest na him be one of this best, him dey well learned and he is one of the few former governors wey leave the governorship seat with zero debt.

Na why I dey say APC no get good party structure.

APC is a failed project from the day of creation. Ask yourself how APC was form then you go get idea why the party no fit produce any good for the country. People only joined APC because they wanted power and no be because they wanted to have an impact on the life of the citizens of the country. APC as a party no get any roadmap wey dem dun create for the progress of the nation. Everything na make we try this one see how e go be something .

Wetin Buhari do for e administration. You set down for 8 years yet e no get any achievement wey you fit boost of. Even the feeding wey you carry campaign, you no fit keep to am. If any presidential candidate want increase e chances of winning even those dem go from APC dem gaz isolate themselves from buhari as the country hate that man and it's very obvious. Even people for APC no see better food chop, ask around.

He isn't the best you know why, if PDP carry obi as flag barrier dey dun lose the election be that. Make we comot all sentiment, Yoruba and Hausa never ready to give igbo man power. Dem fit give power to person from South/East , South South etc but you see that thing wey be say pure igbo man dey rule Nigerian. The Northerner no go ever try am and who controls the system for such to happen, the northerners.
Brainboss na big name I like the way you dey analyse politics and the fact say you get good informations/points to support your argument, first you talk about the Buhari influence for APC, in fact what most people use to win election since 2015 is the Buhari slogans but now e don clear for everybody eye say Buhari to.e don expire and him no too get power for the party na why I dey say APC no get good party structure.

Boss me i no think say tins dey work like dat once it come for presidential race, quite alright tinubu out buhari, but for incubency now tinubu go drastically need buhari's  support because all him power na for lagos e take end o. come to talk of east, south south and north, wetin tinubu fit achieve all by himself?

All of una dey talk Buhari this, buhari that. If buhari get so much influence why e never address the crises for e party. Why person like am go dey and very strong division go dey the party. The man know say e weight no reach. Na who e go call to order na Tinubu? Who Buhari be before dem single handedly give am the power. We dey claim say federal power strong, e be like una forget say na sitting president wey APC cartel unseat oh and buhari no know shishi about that compass because money self w no be get. Dem just put am as face and e dun finish.

1. Wike don declare interest for presidency. Him no be small man and him state no be small state, that one mean say nobody go write am off.
In my opinion, Wike stands absolutely no chance to be the president of Nigeria, his declaration to me seems to have a hidden agenda, one i can't really figure out right now, but i am pretty sure that deep down in his heart he knows he doesn't stand a chance in hell.
3. Wike get two heavy battles to fight. One to win Atiku and then win APC for main election.

For Wike to come out after Atiku, you supposed know say e no dey fear am instead e wan divide him vote probably take to give another people more chances to win or win am himself. Wike no too put mouth last time as no be him own ticket na another people own.

this one na true talk boss but wike go just distruct d votes as u said but if na for real real wike no go atiku money and e no fit defeat am if they were both to come out, one thing is common about atiku and na dat same tin dey hinder d guy to emerge for president, atiku na confirm "thief" and everybody know, dats d reason why obj no ever endorse him for the race if not he for don won.

5. If na to decamp, person wey go fit decamp na Tinubu. If APC deny him ticket he will decamp and fight and na that fight fit scatter APC and give chance for PDP to penetrate.

Wetin you dey talk na, Tinubu wey get APC. You think Tinubu need buhari permissions to contest.
Everything wey you talk here na true, you analyse everything well but e get important mata wey you no dey acknowledge. The mata be say you dey underate the power of presidency. You see Wike and Atiku mata, e dey somehow fair because nobody get presidential power there. Na who get connection pass and whose money long pass go win.
But you see for APC, the strongest man there na Buhari. You must acknowledge this fact. Anyone wey Buhari annoite will win and that is the surest thing we need to understand.
Buhari bu ike, no near, the power of presidency na high tension o.

You dun see where person dey use him hands commot sitting governor wey be say e no win common primary wey him suppose dominate based on the power wey him dey seat on. Na Amaechi need support that's why he's playing it smart watching how things go play out. I sure you say if Amaechi know say e ticket no go sure the guys go just sit-down one place.

Wike no get Atiku problem my brother. If na money matter, currently wike fit stand toe to toe with Atiku make them do the bribing you know the rivers money dat man dey sit on with all the flyover projects. Even Amaechi dun confirm say if you wan learn bribing you gats go meet Wike. For Wike to come out after Atiku, you supposed know say e no dey fear am instead e wan divide him vote probably take to give another people more chances to win or win am himself. Throwback to the real April fool them play us. Goodluck Jonathan time everybody had a say even the common man on the street felt his voice was important and heard. It was that belief that fueled the fuel subsidy protest, how much was added to fuel price that time, I can’t remember, the whole country was angry and marched for two days. Artistes like 2face, Femi Kuti came out to support the protest singing songs like it was a concert. Those were the underdog days for APC, I remember they made plenty promises thus the “change” slogan. Present day Nigeria, Petrol is N220 per liter, naira is 590/$. No protests have been made, we are silent, the activists who try to rise to the occasion is persecuted. Food for thought

1. Wike don declare interest for presidency. Him no be small man and him state no be small state, that one mean say nobody go write am off.

2. Amaechi never declare interest, but as a Rivers man, I go happy well well if Amaechi declare. Because, Amaechi dey closer to the presidential seat pass wike.

3. Wike get two heavy battles to fight. One to win Atiku and then win APC for main election. It is looking like near impossible task. But Amaechi fit no get battle to fight, because him no go put body, if them go give am ticket, know say na Baba go fight him battle against Tinubu and that is the only battle I'm seeing.

4. Na true say Wike sponsor PDP when others run, but Wike weight no near to pursue Atiku commot for PDP. Wike dey learn work where Atiku and Northeners dey.

5. If na to decamp, person wey go fit decamp na Tinubu. If APC deny him ticket he will decamp and fight and na that fight fit scatter APC and give chance for PDP to penetrate.
