Have you thought about implementing Lightning network for transactions? Transactions have been on hold for more than a month and things do not seem to improve in the future.

1. Is all 30.000 seats taken?
2. Can I buy as many seats as I want?
3. And what happens if i mint my seat?

1. Yes. If you buy a seat on the auction, you are buying it from another member.
2. Yes. There is no limit to the number of seats a member can own as far as I’m aware.
3. The seat is transferred out from your account and onto the coin so it then receives its distributions (separately from your account) to the coin’s address.

I actually think a majority of the tabs on nastyfans.org should be removed as they don’t display current information and confuse more people than they help.

Majority? Which 6 tabs on nastyfans.org do not display current information and confuse more people than they help?

Does the pool accept nicehash solo mining rentals?

I don’t believe that would be a good idea currently. NastyPool hasn’t been operating for some time. The splitting and takeover of the p2pool project soured my personal taste for it a bit and there’s been no development on that front that I’m aware of for some time. I actually think a majority of the tabs on nastyfans.org should be removed as they don’t display current information and confuse more people than they help.

I noticed that on the nastyfans website the last confirmed sale is showing as 0.00045000 BTC per seat.  I wanted to drop a reminder that in March of 2021 I stated the following...

NastyMining or myself would purchase up to 15 BTC of seats at 0.0005 BTC per seat (currently worth $833,250) if anyone was interested. That offer will put a floor under seat prices in BTC terms which is something I think people have wanted to see with this organization for a long time.

In the time since NastyMining has purchased ~2,000 seats from the public auction.  While the main goal was to give potential sellers liquidity to exit NastyFans if they so desired, the secondary goal was to "put a floor under seat prices in BTC terms" as that has been a common complaint over the years.

I am now increasing that offer to buying an unlimited number of seats at a price of 0.00055 BTC per seat.  This marks a 10% increase in the floor price for NastyFans seats and anyone who wants to take advantage of this offer needs only to list their seats on the auction at nastyfans.org and drop me a message letting me know they've been listed.

can someone point me to the area where it shows the distributions to our seats?

Sign in and click "history" button. Then click "show details" button in donations section. That shows amount you received for each distribution.

Also on "home" screen you see your "on hold" total increase each week. Payout threshold for online seats is 0.0005 BTC. Payout threshold for minted seats is 0.001 BTC.

Stacks Bowers Galleries is auctioning off a few NastyFans Minted Seats this month.  This might be something to keep an eye on as I don't think these coins have been auctioned off in this setting before.  It might also be useful for gauging their value in 'the real world' outside of our little community.  Live bidding begins Mar 24, 2023 which is where the real fun could begin.  Interested bidders online have until then to register an account and make a bid.  Might be worth it for those who have asked about purchasing Minted Seats using traditional fiat currencies.

I really like seeing the "Ordinals" project grow.  It shows that it is possible to run a decentralized community organization (or collection) on Bitcoin's blockchain.  While I still feel there is much work to be done on the development of that project, it does give me hope that one day we too could be a decentralized organization on the blockchain.  I think not having any one person in control of this project would be a positive thing and maybe would allow it to grow as it was meant to instead of being so dependent on a handful of individuals who let's face it, won't live forever.  If you haven't looked into Ordinals, I would recommend taking a look.

A lot of effort is made to make sure that data is readily available for those that seek it. I give links to this data in the OP. It pains me when people want to go out of their way to try and cause trouble for this project, pretending they have some great knowledge of some behind the scenes scam, and they haven’t even glanced at the OP or looked at the data they’ve been making claims to have superior knowledge of.

TL;DR
The original post on this thread has lots of useful information. Don’t feed the trolls.

I ask because when I use the links in the OP - I am not finding any distributions to my seats. Maybe I am missing something then - I see where the seats got distributions up to a point but not after.

No one is going out of their way to cause trouble - you just hate to be held accountable or to answer to the very people who made you a millionaire unless they kiss your ass.

Personally, I think you should be charged with theft and embezzlement and rot your ass behind bars but Theymos left it calling you - what was it? "slimey" or something like that?

You have made a fortune off the very people you then shit on - many times saying how you are a millionaire. Maybe you should change your attitude.

so for your links in OP.

1. nastyfans bitcoin analyzer - I enter my seats addy and get a usd amount and then can click the address to see the total sats for that seat --- great that works fine.

2. a link to mint.json - this shows the same amounts as above --- great works fine.

3. historic distribution list - shows the distributions being made --- great works fine.

ok now lets see my question:

1. can someone point me to the area where it shows the distributions to our seats?

I see no link to this data.  This is what I have asked for numerous times and each time you have sent me the links to the 3 specified above and none of them answer to my question.  You then call me a spreader of FUD, you accuse me of trying to cause issues etc etc etc

no one needs to do that, you do it yourself.

So maybe it is somewhere in this long ass thread but if so obviously I don't see it or have missed it or misunderstood it - now instead of typing your same canned fucking responses - how about answering the damn question. And maybe there is a link to what I am asking but if so, you have never pointed it out as the only ones specifically given to me are the 3 I mentioned above.

what I want to see (if its available) is how much from each distribution went to my seats. Let's use the latest distribution from your link:

526,2023-01-08 20:28:14,0.00000012,26907,771019,f9894cc0782e24b19828012fa26b5c840a71e04b322ae77f8c47fc14f573db12,0,0.00112624

is it the 0.00000012 per seat?

EDIT: if so, then I have to trust that correct?

I guess I am looking for something that has:

seat, starting balance, contribution/distribution amt, ending balance

does that exist anywhere?

secondary edit - if I use the date my seats were minted and then use that value per seat for every distribution after the seat was minted, it comes up with a different value - one actually quite a bit lower than what the site shows.

This is another reason why I have asked if there is a file or w/e that shows each distribution to each seat.

another edit: adding OG's response to me - guess he didnt want to put it here - would show his true colors. I guess he took me off of block for a short bit - long enough to send me this

If you don’t like my attitude you can suck my dick. How’s that?

Truth will out!
I cannot ask OG as he blocks me everywhere -but can someone point me to the area where it shows the distributions to our seats? I thought I saw it on the site - on the "donations" tab, but my seat addresses do not show there and my balances do not seem to change. - Let me correct that - it appears that they have not changed for a while.

Quoted. I think it could be interesting for others if they have the same question in the future.

Good luck!

I've sold off our GPUs as they weren't doing too much these days and the funds went into NastyMining's holding address.  Perhaps I'll upgrade to newer GPUs at some point in the future when it's a more opportune time to do so.  I've also listed our S17 Pro for sale in the computer hardware section of this forum and have started receiving offers via PM.  This S17 Pro is fresh from repair so I figure it is a good time to sell it.  I'll look into upgrading that as well at some point in the future, but ASIC hardware is outgrowing my little electrical setup so I'll probably have to get an electrician to do some upgrades before making a new ASIC farm setup in the future.  We will soon own no mining hardware for the first time in more than a decade.

How about mining Ethereum Classic, much of the ETh hash has gone to it, it has also increased the value considerably.

Now that Ethereum has gone to Proof of Stake, something needs to be decided about our GPUs.  We have a couple of VII's that have been mining ETH for some time for us which are now sitting idle while I try and decide what should be done with them.  Should I set them to mine another altcoin on Nicehash to have BTC donated to NastyFans?  Should I sell them and have the funds sent to NastyMining?  Feel free to make your opinion heard if you have one.

But you collect money from other people to invest in other ponzis, and then repay the money lost in seats.  It's like a ponzi for ponzis.
