After getting a notification that it was set to expire in the coming weeks, I paid to renew the nastyfans.org website domain name through 2030 from the NastyMining Bitcoin treasury funds.  We had a credit on the books from Bitcoin we had deposited to cover future domain renewals, but nowhere near the value it should be.  I guess at some point many years ago they decided to convert it to usd...  A good move for them I guess.  One less thing to worry about.

I started a community on X (RIP Twitter) for our little project if people wanted to communicate on there. It is a platform with a much greater reach and maybe it might link up some of us outside of this forum. Feel free to join and post your ideas or follow other fellow Bitcoin enthusiasts there.

12 years ago nastyfans begins. I post some fun facts about the twelfth year of nastyfans...

  • 260 seats sold on the auction (total of 0.1429 BTC)
  • most recent nastyfans seat sale was for 0.00055 BTC ($36.62)
  • 25 seats minted via NastyShop
  • 4 NastyMining Wallet Sets sold via NastyShop
  • 0.17644056 BTC donated to nastyfans
  • 1 seat accepting donations received 0.00000485 BTC
  • 20 new members

The task list for the coming year:

  • continue backend infrastructure cleanup
  • more polls for handling terminated seats
  • NastyPool online again

I thank the members for making this fanclub so much fun to be with!

Distributions 569-625 are complete for members. nastyfans appreciates the donations.

The 57 distributions are bundle in single transaction. If you sign in to nastyfans you see details of each distribution.

Still I must send out distribution parts for nastyfans that sell all seats in this time and are not members now. I contact them direct and agree on address to send Bitcoin.

Still I have much work to finish cleanup on new server and backend. For now I am happy members are current with distributions.

I continue weekly distributions but maybe bundle at one per month.

Thank you for patience.

[Week 17] Waiting for my coins. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE ?! Huh

I sold my seats via nastyfans auctions and OgNasty bought em on June 19th 2024.
I got locked out of my Nastyfans.org account because of not owning seats.

[Week 17] UNTIL TODAY I DID NOT RECEIVE MY BITCOIN.

OgNasty is very responsive and friendly, but pointing to Nonnakip when it comes to controlling the funds. Nonnakip does not react to any messages.

Have I simply been scammed out of my BTC? Huh
Any similar experiences?
Does anyone have any idea why nonnakip is not reacting?

Help is highly appreciated. Not all of us are millionaires  Undecided

[week 22] ISSUE IS RESOLVED.
I received the funds of the seat auction on the blockchain.
Special thanks to OgNasty for purchasing the seats and being responsive, friendly and supportive all the time.

All I need is ... information so I can auction the unclaimed

Here you go:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.57385918

OK, I'll explain it all to you again.  After I did the first 2 of 3 auctions, you sent me shipping information weeks later to send 2 of the winners their coins after someone purchased one and wanted their purchase shipped with their auction win.  You picked out which address each winner got and were upset that I had already shipped the coins to the auction winners so you couldn't choose this or track who received which coin.  I don't make people wait 20 weeks for things, so I was surprised to see you expecting me to wait weeks (it's been years now actually and I still haven't gotten the rest of the shipping orders for the first 2 completed auctions) before sending the auction winners their coins, especially considering I put in 40+ hours of time engraving and assembling coins in the 2 days leading up to the giveaway with the expectation everyone would get their prizes immediately.  I'm not going to put my reputation on the line for your delays.  Hence why I'm not going to let you blame me for this delay when I have clearly explained to you dozens of times over a period of years that I don't do auctions and then wait for you to give me orders to ship coins.  As I've said before, you can give me the information you have been holding and I will do the auctions and send people their prizes.  Since I've already completed 2 of the 3 auctions and you've only sent me shipping orders for 2 coins, you have many more shipping orders to send me than I have coins for the giveaway left.  I need to see what you are going to send me and reconcile the information to ensure people don't receive duplicates and I have enough for everyone who won.  As soon as I saw this miscommunication and your desire to pick out which coin address each bitcointalk auction winner won (tracking coin owners needs to stop) it was clear there would be problems.  The problem now is you withholding information so that I can't attempt to reconcile it with what I auctioned years ago and make sure everything is properly distributed so everyone gets what they won and is happy.  I don't know why you are trying to set me up for failure, but it's best to leave things like logistics to me.  You were given an ownership stake to write code, not poll my fans and gatekeep giveaways.

I sure hope nonnakip ... sorts out whatever is holding up the 100 coin giveaway

For the literate among us:

Cute. All I need is the giveaway information so I can auction the unclaimed and ship to the winners. I would love nothing more. Whenever you want to stop being the guy withholding that info it will get done. You should probably check with the winners to make sure their address info is up to date first though since you’ve been sitting on it for years.

Since December 2019 there is "update backend infrastructure" on list of TODO. In November 2023 it becomes not possible to post to Bitcoin blockchain for reasonable fees. This cause big delay. When fees become reasonable other issues with backend infrastructure make it not possible to flush backlog. nastyfans backend not designed for 4 month backlogs.

Now long needed infrastructure must happen for backlog flushing. I hope to flush by end of this year.

Why is it even required to route BTC from the auction to a third party in the bitcoin network, when you purchase the seats from me?

This project has always traded on an exchange. It’s a publicly traded community project. Having an automated exchange is supposed to make things easier, but I see in this one instance over 12+ years it has caused a delay. I’m in no way responsible for the delay, but continue to be apologetic and responsive in the face of your lack of empathy towards nonnakip getting this issue resolved. Seems odd you’re lashing out at the one person who agreed to buy your seats at auction instantly (I didn’t have to) and are demanding I make a second payment to you directly because the auction is delayed. No good deed I guess…

right. didnt see that last message. apologies on that point. Actually, it is quite frustrating to send messages via a one way channel if there is absolutely no reaction. Never.
At this point I am wondering how you came to  know, that I do not keep sending nonnakip messages via nastyfans.org/post. Huh Do you have access to those messages? What exactly happens with those messages?

I’ve been in communication with nonnakip. He just migrated to a new server and we had to update the DNS entry. You continue to ask me to be a middleman, so I’m curious why you don’t take my advice and communicate with the source directly. You can provide contact info for him to respond to you. It doesn’t have to be a “one way channel” any more than an email. I don’t have access to those messages. They go to nonnakip.

He's not going to do anything unless you file a scam accusation & flag against him. This is his project. He started it. Its not your fault that whoever he designated to be in charge of dispersing funds has ghosted their responsibilities. Its clearly a failure on his part not to resolve a long-standing issue. As a sign of good faith, he should have paid you the BTC you are owed out-of-pocket, since he himself is the purchaser of your seats. But he's clearly not going to do that.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;addflag=18321

I would go with the middle option when adding the flag. Feel free to DM me if you need any help.

Nobody should be spending 1 satoshi on this given the circumstances, and I think the public has a right to know why not.

[Week 21] I still did not receive my funds.  Cry

Sending further messages to nonnakip via the nastyfans.org/post method. Lets see.

We are all in the same boat though.
Not really. You do know Nonnakip longer and I am quite sure you have further means of reaching out to him.

I am a nastyfan just like everyone else.
Do you really think so ? Somehow you started this entire thing ..

If other fans think that NastyMining should use our savings & risk double paying users when distributions are delayed, we can have that discussion.  I would assume that the overwhelming majority of seat owners would prefer to wait for nonnakip to get this resolved.  This is not an issue that gets solved between 2 nastyfans and reconciled later by the club as that would be an accounting nightmare going forward if that precedent were expected.

We do not need to involve other users. If you pay the amount of BTC directly to me, everything is fine. Actually, you should have done this in the first place.
Why is it even required to route BTC from the auction to a third party in the bitcoin network, when you purchase the seats from me?

There is one simple solution: Make me the president.  Grin Once I have the private key to https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/addresses/btc/1BGM6a3cYutnZL3jWVCsKzeWHDG1Votnxc I can withdraw the funds myself without nonnakip.

[Week 19] Still waiting for my payout from NastyFans

@OgNasty:
Nutilah has a point there. Please consider transferring the amount of BTC directly to me and settling with Nonnakip directly anything remaining. You put Nonnakip in such a powerful position without having the options to retake control. I should not be the one suffering from your decision. Please let me know if paying me directly is an option for you.

@Nutilah:
Thanks for letting me know about the ScamAccusation part of the forum and offering you support. I'll contact you if this topic is not solved soon.

I agree the lack of communication here from nonnakip is unacceptable and as a community we should think about how to stop this from happening in the future.  We are all in the same boat though.  I am also owed funds from shop sales.  This is a good reminder to people that I don't run nastyfans.  I am a nastyfan just like everyone else.

Since you're the purchaser of this guys' "seats", it sounds like you should just pay him out of pocket and then have your "President" reimburse you... The issue you're referencing was from 3-4 months ago; nonnakip hasn't even logged into the forum this year. Weird to put the blame on anyone other than yourself.

You've had your funds withheld for months, but hang in there, you did the right thing by posting publicly.

He should consider opening a Scam Accusation and present the evidence there. Og obviously isn't going to lift a finger to help this person without some kind of motivation. Seems doing the right thing isn't obvious to him.
