Game 1 is tomorrow. Place your bets guys.
Here are the odds for the game.
Denver Nuggets ML @1.27 | -10.5 @2.11
Miami Heat ML @4.00 | +10.5 @1.71

My instincts tell me to test the waters first and go for a non-greedy pick. I am taking the Denver Nuggets (-8.5) only. Adding to my singles is the Over 216.5.
I also have some player props on my mind too but I think I will create my betbuilder later before the game starts just to be sure about the roster of each team. We don't know what could happen during warm-ups or sudden emergency body injuries.

Let's go! Good luck to everyone.

I'm considering taking the handicap in game 1 because I'm afraid to bet on the ML. There's a chance that the Heat will cover the spread even if they lose, especially if the game is close. Jimmy Butler has been unstoppable, and not even Gordon could stop him. Jimmy is quick and knows how to pass the ball to his open teammates. I don't know what their specific strategy will be in game 1, but I'm confident that the Heat will always be competitive.

There is a huge portion for the odds on the Denver Nuggets well I guess it is a profitable bet for the Miami Heat if you want to risk and I think it is a huge risk, but because the Nuggets have swept the Los Angeles Lakers in the semi-finals, I think there is a huge advantage on that with the odds and I was right, with the odds going for the Nuggets, but as you have said the Heat will surely be very competitive in this game for sure, and I think they need it right now they need to establish the first win so the team morale will also heighten, but I think that the Miami Heat will struggle in this 1st game,

Same here, If I'm going to bet on the Heat, if might be on the handicap, it's very hard to see how game 1 will turn out. If could be a blow out win by the Nuggets as the Heat is very tired from a grueling game 7 series with the Celtics.

Or the Heat will make the fight as close as possible with Jimmy and the rest of the gang.

But it's hard to see, the Nuggets is playing perfect against the Lakers, Jokic having good numbers that is comparable to the legend Wilt Chamberlain.

Both of you were not wrong it is really and another strategy is to not make a bet if you think that the game will be unpredictable then it is a good decision to always back out from betting I really think it is also a good strategy,

But for me, I think that the Denver Nuggets will have a good chance of winning this game I really don't want to compare the Miami Heat to the Los Angeles Lakers but there is a good chance that the same thing will happen with this game with the Los Angeles this is just my gut is telling me and backing this feeling are the Denver Nuggets has a pretty good run towards their Conference series,

Agaisnt Minnesota Timberwolves on the Conference First Round

Against Phoenix Suns in the Conference Semifinals

And sweeping the Los Angeles Lakers in the Conference Finals

I'm also on the Jimmy Buckets bandwagon so let's see how far he can make this series against the Denver Nuggets teams. Again, they have been underrated since game 1 of this playoffs and yet Jimmy proved his MVP mentality since the series against the Bucks. So it's going to be Jimmy against Jamal Murray, and let's see if Aaron Gordon can somewhat stop him.

I'll pass on the game one ML, If I'll have to bet on the Heat, it will be based on the odds not what I'm expecting of the Heat, the first game is usually where to draw a decent conclusion about certain match ups and other stuffs about players and how each team/players would approach the series.

That said, there are a lot of easy props for the Miami Heat players, especially in terms of the assist, the lines are very low and worth a gamble over and over again.

What you guys think on Denver-Miami series? What you would bet on? I think Denver is in advantage and will try to play agressive and make Miami take hard shots, so I would play Miami under first game.
Hi, JooBra

But the reality is that Miami has its number 22 very focused, it will be an unpredictable final but I lean my bet on Denver, in this first game I cannot go directly to a champion since I am not a fan of any of these finalists, Smiley  so the predictions... Game by Game.

Hard to predict indeed.

I don't what are the odds when Heat battled the Bucks, 10% chance of winning i think but they did manage to beat them in 5 games, then came the Knicks where i think the odds must be almost close to even and again they beat them with ease. ESPN analyst has put 3% on the Heat to win against the Celtics but then again they manage to slay another giant once more, good thing that I'm riding the Jimmy Buckets bandwagon hehe.

ESPN has Miami 11% to win this final, that's understandable because man for man, Nuggets really has the edge but in a championship series, heart and determination matter a lot and that is where Jimmy and the gang had the advantage plus no much pressure on to them because being in the Finals alone is a big accomplishment with a depleted line-up.

Will bet for the Heat here till game 7.  Cool

For Game 1,  I might go with the Heat at ML, hehehe, I know they are a huge underdog but the odds are very enticing at the start of Game 1 so I will take that huge risk for the Heat.

I think 11% is way too low, I am not saying that Nuggets won't win, I do believe that Nuggets will win this series without a doubt, they are the better team and I think they will win. However, giving Miami 11% is just underestimating them way too much and nobody should do that. I think it is obvious that Heat will win a few games, and that makes this a closer series.

Nuggets managed to beat Lakers 4-0, that was a dominant series without a doubt, this won't be like that. Heat is also tried, they did 7 games versus Nuggets 4 games, so they have been resting for a week I think, that means they are a lot more rested whereas Heat is tired so the first games could be a bit harder, and that momentum could help Nuggets even more, even though they don't even need it.

They are inspired, but perhaps they have reached the point where the probability that has always put them behind is fulfilled, but this is the NBA and it is what it is because of this type of situation.

You have left us your passion for the Heat and you even predict a Game 7, I think the Heat are starting to cool down and they will not make it to Game 7, if you read correctly I am not saying that they will not be able to reach the championship, I am just saying that they will not exist game 7. Smiley

Likewise, the first game is won by Denver.

I think Denver Nuggets will be champion.
I will place my bet for the first match when the odds are clear.
I can bet on Caleb Martin again. Because he is so good right now.
For me, I already learned some lessons not to underestimate the Miami Heat this season especially the part where they have eliminated the #1 seed in the semis which is the Milwaukee Bucks, and after that, even if they are against the Boston Celtics as well as their odds, I still chose the Heat to win the series and bet them game after game which eventually turned profitable to me and to some of my friends whom I shared my predictions with.

So, yes, that will mean that I will be with the Miami Heat in Game 1 at Denver and I will be putting my bets about a few hours before the 1st game will commence.

Althoug I agree with you but I’m still thinking the possibility of choking since this is their first time. No matter how eager they are it’s very hard to win championship if you don’t have a mentality to do it which experience teach players.

You can't dismiss that possibility, considering it's their first time. Although their coach may lack experience in the NBA Finals, we know that Coach Spo is skilled at making the necessary adjustments to secure victory. While people focus on player matchups, it's important to understand that basketball is a team game, not just an individual one. Therefore, there is no such thing as a guaranteed winner in this matchup.

And that's valid, as this sport is a game of team effort, there's no such thing that can guarantee a win here.

Though most of the opinions are based on how both teams perform from their last performances, those assessments can also be
valid in terms of analysing the potential outcomes of each game.

It's more on how you pick the reason behind why you are picking the team and how you can support that with your
research and analysis.,

Both teams can compete, but only one can take the crown.

You really just buttress my stance on the finals, Miami Heat is quite better collectively as a team imo, Boston Celtics failure was eventually down to the inefficiency of their go to guys in game 7, I mean Tatum with an ankle sprain from the very first possession of the game, and the coach couldn't even cut him some slack and trust his other guys to fill his boots, perhaps they can't perfectly but at least for some 15-20 decent minutes, there are several other options the Celtics could have gone with that would leave Tatum on the bench for down the stretch in the second half, I mean the fatigue was already there for him and Brown (who was already having a terrible series) and they turned the ball over twice in as many possession for a 7-0 Miami Heat run to begin the 4th quarter, upon the already 10 points deficit from the 3rd quarter, and that took the game away from them totally, I mean the coach could have left JB and JT on the bench for a little longer and go with guys that he had to count on all season long like Mike Muscala who also a very good shoot from behind the arc, and then there is also Payton Pritchard, and the likes that are also very locked in players, if you can't count on these guys, I wonder what the essence of considering the Boston Celtics a team with a very deep roster was to begin with. If these guys aren't getting any minutes in the most important game of the series, the major success of the Denver Nuggets in this playoff is the impact the 2nd and 3rd unit make during the non Jokic and Murray minutes, of which they have been very decent even when they don't outscore their opponents they don't drop points drastically which makes the Jokic and Murray minutes highly effective, as both players get to rest during the game without much pressure, in a game 7 you'd expect Jimmy Butler to be the do it all guy, but he couldn't even hit the points spread of the player props he's expected to reach, and he was the 5th ranked player of the Miami Heat in terms of the +/- rating, and there you have guys like Caleb Martin and Gabe Vincent turn up the heat, when Butler was heavily guarded he had guys to bail him out, but Mazzulla wouldn't trust guys deep in his roster to be capable of making an impact.

The odds for the winner of the final series are like this on my monitor:

- Nuggets: 1.22
- Heat: 4.40

Despite all those things happened Heat are still highly the underdog team in this series. I won't complain to bookmakers about that of course. Because Heat are still a big surprise in this stage really. The Heat - Celtics series went amazing. I thought for once that Celtics might put an end to their run finally after seeing Celtics' unbelievable win while there was 0.1s to the end in Game 6. But nothing changed anyway at the end.

It’s obvious because Nuggets sweep Lakers which is the favorite to be this year Champion after beating GSW. Miami defeat Boston on game7 with injured Tatum on the whole game. I think game will be different if Tatum can contribute more. Heat got a lot of tough luck this playoffs since this happened to when they are against Bucks. I think the odds will start to balance after the game 1 result.

But I'm backing Nuggets in this series. Because they have 0 championships in their history. While Jokic is fired up as well I think they deserve to win their first ever title. But I don't think it will be a very clear score. I expect 4-3.

Going against the public perception is what we are doing here. Personally, I think the chance of the Heat winning the series is lower than that of the Nuggets. However, I don't believe that the Nuggets will sweep them in the NBA Finals. Take the Lakers vs Heat Finals matchup in the bubble, for example. People thought that Miami would not win a single game, but the series ended in 6 games in favor of the Lakers. So, we might see a similar scenario here.

I could listen all day to people saying that the Miami Heat have no chance against the heavy favorites, the Denver Nuggets. However, I must tell those people that there is no guarantee the Nuggets will win. While they may have the advantage, it is highly unlikely that they will sweep the Miami Heat as they did with the LA Lakers. The Heat also have talented players, and since the NBA is a business, it would be boring to have only a few games in the NBA Finals. Therefore, they will certainly make it an exciting series to watch.

They are also a good defensive team, as they were able to beat the Heat in three straight games. However, no matter how good the team is, they can also have a bad game, and it so happened that the Celtics had a bad game in Game 7, making them unable to defy history. With the result of the game, still no team has ever come back to win from a 0-3 deficit.

The problem is that most of us were expecting the Celtics to easily dispose of the Heat since they were playing on their home court. In fact, Paul Pierce was too confident that they would win. However, the Heat were prepared, they did their job, and were not emotionally affected by the three straight losses.

If you are watching the game very carefully the once-defensive team, The Boston Celtics has suddenly changed into an offensive team if you didn't notice if you look at the team stats the once number defensive team drop from the 1st place, well I think if they can have a good defense on Jimmy Butler they can surely control not even his gameplay but the morale of the team, well I am just checking their stats back in the last season and the 2021 season they mostly consist of defense, but right now they have depleted that defensive play,

I am seeing a good odd for this game and I am leaning towards the Denver Nuggets I think the bookies will provide the edge for the Nuggets in the odds because they have swept the Los Angeles Lakers, but still, that edge will not be that much in my opinion for me I like the Denver Nuggets odds in winning the finals instead of having a risk for the Miami Heat,

I think Denver Nuggets will be champion.

I also think that the Nuggets will be the champion this season, surely swept the Lakers they have a chance that they can do it again agaisnt the Heat, and surely 1st game will be a win for the Denver Nuggets that is for sure, well Jamal Murray is doing great aswell in the Nuggets team, so may a bet for Jamal Murray getting over 20's will be a profitable aswell,

I am so glad that I didn't put any bitcoin on last nights game.  I was and have been rooting for the Miami Heat since early on, but I just didn't think that they would be able to pull it off being that they had just lost three straight games, and the Boston Celtics seemed primed to take the series especially due to the fact that they were playing at home.  Boy was I wrong.

I see Denver is -8.5 for Thursday game 1.  Man, I really have no idea how to bet this one.  I will take the next couple days to do some digging, see what others think here.
