I go with the Nuggets -3.5 live betting. The game was still in the first quarter. The Lakers take a good lead at the start but the Nuggets find their shooting and now taking the lead 20-16.

It's early but it seems that Nuggets is more relaxed in this game. I wouldn't be surprised if Jokic will have a triple double, unless Rui or Davis could stop him. So let's see and good luck to those who are going to bet or who have put their bet already.
Congratulations bro, how much were the odds on that one?

Unlucky day for me. 0/2
Over 227.5 was not covered as the game have become a defensive battle. -6.5 was not covered too. Not again. The same issue as Game 1, there's a foul at the end of the game Russell holding Bruce Brown, and the referees will not call it anymore and let the time run out. That's twice that it could've been covered.  Cry
Anyway, a great comeback from the Nuggets after being down by 2 digits in the first half. 3rd quarter is where they tried to get close and 4th quarter is where they put a gap against the Lakers. Jamal Murray suddenly got hot in the 4th quarter after a bad start in the first half.
A very intense game and this is the playoffs that we love. Congratulations to all the winners.

I have 3 separate bets tonight.

Total o57.5 in 1st qtr

Lakers +5.5

Lakers -3.5

If thr Lakers pull off the win by 4 or more that would be awesome for my bets. The way the game 1 went, the Lakers looked like they could have/should have won it. Hoping we see that fire tonight.

**EDIT**

Looks like my 1st qtr bet is a loser. Hope I win the other 2

**EDIT #2**

Ugh 1-2 Won the Lakers +5.5 and that's it for tonight. Murray got hot as hell from 3 point range in the 4th quarter. If that doesn't happen we win 2 lose 1 I think.

I got in late but Bet the Heat+8.5 for second half and Heat over 51.5 total for 2nd half. Both looking good currently since Miami came out on fore and scored 46 points in the 3rd quarter. Never would have thought that turnaround was going to happen at all.
That's a win. Every + for the Miami Heat is a win tonight. Nice catch there and Congratulations.
@morvillz7z congrats on the props.
Admire your guts mate, although it was a good first quarter for them, the Celtics have built a good momentum in the 2nd quarter.
And my instincts were right. 11 point lead by Celtics was gone in the third quarter. Every Heat player offers their contribution to the team. Adebayo, Lowry, Struss, Love, and especially Jimmy Buckets Butler. That man is a damn thief. Bad man!  Grin 6 steals!
They just played the same high level of defensive aggressiveness, that's all they did the whole postseason and it's still working so nothing needs to be changed yet.

Perfect bets.

Celtics should find a way how they will make Jayson Tatum open. He should not hide as the offensive player of the team, demand the ball, lead the team, and create space for everyone.

Congrats mate, it was just a great game for the Heat, specially in the 3rd quarter wherein their shooting was outstanding and then the Celtics really don't know what hit them on that quarter alone, as the Heat scores 46 points.

Yeah, that defense is the key for their big win at Boston Garden.

And they have accomplished it, stealing 1 game and then try to make it again game 2.

Playoffs Jimmy Butler was at it again, and today it was against the Boston Celtics, the team that eliminated the Heat last, in the finals, so taking game one at the TD Garden is quite very advantageous to the Heat, If the Heat can defend their home court and get the 2 wins they'll play on home court, then that be theirs first step towards the regardless of what happens in the conference final, I definitely they'd stand more than a decent chance against either of them, if they can see off the Boston Celtics, but it's rather just too early to make any form of concrete assertions.

Yeah, he broke a lot of Celtics fans with another great performance in game 1 and congrats who bet on them being the underdog. First time I saw the Celtics somewhat pressure and at the same time taunting their opponents when they are down? what is that?

So this is just game 1, we will see if Boston can adjust or just broken down mentally with a big lost on their homecourt opening series.

but I am taking the Over 225.5 bet for this game
The public is all on the over as well, but i'm leaning on the under because both teams are hitting most of their shots (almost 55% from the last game). It can still hit, but it's rare for both teams to maintain these percentages.

so for this game my pick is the Denver Nuggets,
I also took the Nuggets moneyline hoping for Stake's promo to bail me out in case it gets dicey like the last game. The spread is tempting, but they're shaky in holding their lead, and it reminded me of their game 2 against the Suns.

I also like the Over 225.5 pick to be honest, but I think we could get a little more defensive approach today, the -5.5 points spread for Denver Nuggets looks like the realest bet to instead, and that's how I'll be riding tonight.

Good Luck!

I definitely agree that Heat were the better team but did not expected it to be like this. Celtics are a great team who saw finals just recently, and to see them play like this on a very important game really disappointed me. The coach was the single most important thing, that is the key point here. I mean coach put in Tatum way too late on third quarter, for a while Miami were like lowry and butler and so forth, and Celtics still had Brogdon as their best player, and then put in Tatum but not Brown.

I am sorry but players won't get "tired" on these games, they may, but if the other ones are then let yours play too. I think it is quite important. I believe that the best thing about Heat is that they have a much better head coach without a doubt.

Well, there might be a reason why Joe Mazzulla played Jayson Tatum late and if you look at the Boston Celtis Roster they are short of players right now he also plays Payton Pritchard instead of Grant Williams, so it was a tight rotation for them yeah they surely can not get tired that easily because this is the playoffs but the Boston Celtics can not afford an injury, I really think the rotation is needed and when the time comes that there is no more option left I think that Joe Mazzulla will certainly do in his power and likely will be always using the Celtics key players more,

Picks for today's game

Denver Nuggets vs Los Angeles Lakers (DEN Leads 1 - 0)

Right now the Denver Nuggets are in on the lead and had their 2nd game against the Los Angeles Lakers at Ball Arena, right now there are no injuries for the Denver Nuggets while the Lakers' Injury report is Mo Bamba (ankle) is out, and can not play for the Lakers Anthony Davis (foot) and LeBron James (foot) both are questionable if they can play for this game, right now the Nuggets have shown that they got what it takes to lead the game against the Lakers that defeated the defending champion the Golden State Warriors but for sure both Lebron James and Anthony Davis will play in this game but I am taking the Over 225.5 bet for this game

Interesting to see if the Lakers will make a lineup change to start Game 2:

source: https://twitter.com/ChrisBHaynes/status/1659232162988556293
Quote
“Sources tell me Darvin Ham is considering starting Rui Hachimura for Game 2. It’s a decision he’s keeping very close to the vest.”

They did get hammered on the boards in the 1Q, Nuggets finished the game +17 rebounds. Hachimura or even Vanderbilt could be the way to go.

^ This kinda puts me off my props today, i might still cook something up if the starting lineups news comes earlier.

Their stars played 40 minutes each.  No team runs theor guys out for all 48.  Jokics sits, lebron sits, butler sites, bam on played 37 minutes.  If ypu don't think these dudes aren't tired after playing 48 minutes of ball at a playoff elite level ypu are crazy.  There is a reason no one plays 48 minutes.  Otherwiae every team would have a 5 guy team.  Rotations are needed to change the flow of the game as well.

That's Jimmy Butler for you and this time, I reckon that their chances are much stronger compared to their run last season because the others are stepping up already plus there's Bam who is always ready to help Butler and defend the paint as well.

Celtics may be the favorite to win but that is because they finished and clinched on a much higher seed compared to Heat that just barely qualified in play-in. But in this instance, they are a live underdog that is not good to be underestimated. The Heat already scored their first win, that surely gave an effect to the Celtics mindset.

It is not really looking good for the Boston Celtics as Jimmy Butler is making progress with a great start the Miami Heat also got a good spread while the Celtic doesn't have a good answer on Jimmy Butler at all, while the Miami Heat has the 1st answer to the Boston now this is a real great action from the 8th seed Miami Heat winning against the 2nd seed Boston Celtics in the eastern conference finals,

Game 2 (DEN Leads 1 - 0)

Denver Nuggets(-240) VS Los Angeles Lakers(+200)

It is a great start for the Denver Nuggets winning the 1st game in this series, for now, they got a decent win against the Lakers and are now in game 2 the Nuggets also got a good odds now they are playing at Ball Arena against the Lakers and the Denver Nuggets doesn't have any injury at the moment, while Mo Bamba is out with an ankle injury Anthony Davis and Lebron James both have Foot injuries and are questionable for the Lakers if the Lakers can not have an answer against the Nuggets this game 2 will be for the Denver Nuggets, so for this game my pick is the Denver Nuggets,

The line moved down to 5.5.  Going to have to take the Nuggets on this one.  As much as everyone thinks Lakers will make the adjustments, Denver will too.  Murray ended up on lebron too many times on the switch guarantee ypu that doesn't happen as much tonight.  My guess is they will go under the screen and let Bron shoot 3 pointers and Liv with the results.  They can't let Bron drive on guards that's too easy.

Cheat mode activated with playoff Butler, taking control in the 2nd half we witness how he really influenced his teammates. I like the
way he takes charge as he's finding the right plays, either taking a shot or passing the ball.

Though not just him but the whole squad, they are all bringing everything to win the game. Boston needs the right adjustments not to allow Jimmy
to take that control.

His passing skills are exceptional. I like Butler because he does not force the issue. In Game 1, we again witnessed the long pass from Kevin Love that led to an easy 2 points. There are a lot of things that the Celtics will have to keep in mind when they are playing the Heat, as they are very unpredictable. If they cannot attack inside, they will shoot outside, and their shooting percentage is quite high.

Quote
Too early to conclude these series, Boston still has the winning chance as we also know them in terms of good adjustments.

I agree with you because, until now, they are still the favorites to win. However, if they lose in Game 2, then I guess it might be over for them.

Lakers must have a good adjustment this upcoming game 2 because if Denver nuggets still the winner then it's too hard for LA Lakers to win the seri, but if they will win in game 2 then they have a high percentage of winning ad we are all know that Davis can sustain inside the basket and other teammates will take over the outside shoot. And for nuggets they need to do more aggressive and tight defense then for sure they will win again.
Los Angeles Lakers +5.5 (just to be sure)

I'm still trusting that the Lakers can give a different outcome this time, it may not be a blow out win but this is a must win for the team because a having 0-2 deficit will destroy their morale and confidence. Moreover, it seems to me that the Lakers are not that worried because they knew that they can work things out this time around. Even Darvin Ham is still having that Smirk, the same smirk he gave when they got lost to the Warriors in Game 5.

Tomorrow, we have the Nuggets vs. Lakers game 2.

The spread is -5.5 in favor of the home team, with a total of 227 points.

Last time, it resulted in a push as the Nuggets were -6 during game time. However, this time, I don't think the line will move, so it's better to choose our sides now. I'm thinking the Nuggets will still win at home and might cover the spread. I know the Lakers were able to find a solution to their problem in the second half of game 1, but I'm also confident that the Nuggets will make adjustments.

Regarding the total score, I'm going under.
I am rooting for the Nuggets too on this game. I won't change my pick from before although I lost that -6.5 and they didn't cover it. I think this time it will be different. They will see their mistakes from the tape and they will make better adjustments and I am sure Coach Malone pointed that out well. A win is a win but that scared the hell out of their fans and it cannot happen again.
Denver Nuggets versus Los Angeles Lakers‍ - Denver Nuggets (-6.5)
But I am going against the under total score of yours. Over 227.5 is my bet.

Adjustments will happen. The Lakers might start better and provide more help at defending Jokic. But so do the Nuggets, they should think about putting Gordon above whenever AD is guarding him just to open some space under the rim and let the others do their work at attacking the paint.

Good luck with your bets.

I threw a small bet on the Lakers to win tonight. I think the Nuggets are probably the better team but the experience of the Lakers should be enough to get them one game in Denver. They got destroyed early in the last game so I think they’re going to come with more effort tonight. Plus, the odds were too good to pass up. So go Lakers!

Lakers indeed find that counterattack, but time is not a good friend, and Nuggets survive that run.

Handicap is decent if you are a Nugget fan as how they play the game might give some edge as they also playing at home, and just like
how you anticipate Nuggets coaching staff may find that best adjustments to secure again the win.

Everything is possible and we don't know what will happen as both teams are playing their best trying to win this series,
a matter of good executions of plays and how players will take the defensive sides.
