There's an update about Tyler Herro's status.
Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra said Herro (groin) is doing "everything he possibly can" to convince the coaching staff and trainers that he can play in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Friday, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.
He badly wants to play and help the team. Sweet kid.
Because of that, I am going full blast for them. Miami Heat ML. Win or lose, they got my support. Adding Over 202.5.
Play hard, and play smart, are two of their key ingredients to winning this game. I know Butler will do anything to make Game 7 happen but the other players should have the same mindset as him if ever Herro will not be available. Give everything on this game and think about Game 7 later. One game at a time.
I'm taking the heat on this one too, purely because I'm rooting for a game 7. How hyped would that game be. I think Boston has a better shot against the Warriors than the heat but couldn't stand watching Boston win another title. Rooting for the heat then probably a boring finals.
I don't want a game in this series tbh, the last two game have been an eyesore to watch for me, and I'd rather have the Warriors vs Celtics finals getting underway.
Aside the fact that I don't fancy a game 7 here, I really don't have any form of optimism on the Heat tonight, their fight is over imo, they'll play under more pressure and I really don't see how that would be of any help to them.
Herro was terrific in the first game of this series, and would be a big boost for the Heat's next to dead offense, but Celtics defense also made adjustments to contain him after game 1, so I'm not expecting too much if he does get the green light.
