Live betting -4.5 for the Celtics at 1.90, (good lucky as the odds goes down).

Miami Heat has a slight lead at the end of the second quarter. But Boston can get back at them in the 3rd and usually Celtics are strong going into the second half so I think they can still covered that handicap.

Butler though has 21 points already, but Brown and Tatum both has 18 points for the Celtics.
The Celtics are off to a cold start and I saw that live spread as well when they're down double digits at the first few minutes. Good thing the momentum somewhat shifted during the second quarter and the Celtics manage to chunk down that lead before it got out of hand. Hopefully, it goes better in the second half and cover that spread.

Rolling with the Celtics -7.5 @1.79 as well, at first glance it's surprising to see the Heat with odds like these but it's tough to back them here when they lost the previous game (at home) by more than double digits. Now that the Celtics are back at home they're likely going to close it out here and should advance to the finals unless the Heat puts up one hell of a performance to push the series to game 7.

Miami Heat should try their best, not just their best but very best, to now allow the Boston Celtics to get a big lead early. As I noticed, when the Celtics are leading by 10+ points in this series against Miami Heat, they are winning at 100%. Being behind a big lead when they are on homecourt makes them feel not energetic anymore. What's more, if they will get the same status playing in front of the Boston Celtics audience.

The handicap given to Miami Heat is tempting but I'm sure the Celtics will be able to cover it. I will go for Celtics -8.5.

B. Adebayo 20+ PRA / J. Butler 1+ steals / P.J. Tucker 1+ assists @1.66 ∆  X

Game 5 was easily one of the worst conference finals games i've watched in recent memory, Heat forced so many bad shots like you wouldn't believe, eyesore 38 missed 3s. Lowry playing on a bad hamstring, Jimmy hasn't been the same since game 3 with his troubled knee or whatever, that's why i'm going with Bam today. Bam was sensational in game 3 (in Boston) on both ends of the floor with 31 points, 4 steals, and a block. Considering all the injuries i expect him to lead the Heat in scoring. I have J. Butler steal in there, he has had at least one steal in 4 of the 5 games, also a P.J. Tucker assist...Tucker has had 1 in each of the 5, he will get a pass leading to a bucket, i bet Heat won't look that bad on offense, they can't!

Boston Celtics -8.5

This team can surely cover that spread. Miami Heat will have no answer once the Celtics began their continuous shooting streak. With the crowd cheering for the Celtics, the Heat will begin to distract as they are facing the elimination for the first time. They are more pressured to win and that might affect their status and momentum.

Better luck next time Miami Heat. The team did their best.

There's an update about Tyler Herro's status.
Quote
Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra said Herro (groin) is doing "everything he possibly can" to convince the coaching staff and trainers that he can play in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Friday, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.
He badly wants to play and help the team. Sweet kid.
Because of that, I am going full blast for them. Miami Heat ML. Win or lose, they got my support. Adding Over 202.5.
Play hard, and play smart, are two of their key ingredients to winning this game. I know Butler will do anything to make Game 7 happen but the other players should have the same mindset as him if ever Herro will not be available. Give everything on this game and think about Game 7 later. One game at a time.
I taking the Over 201.5, 1.89, that's a good odds for me in this game. Even if they started slow just like the last 2 games, I think this score can still be get over with, if Tatum will score more in their home court and then Butler or Herro play good offensively to stay away from elimination. I'm not that confident of the -8.5 line for the Celtics, this is a do or die game for the Heat and maybe there are still some fire on them to make it 3-3 series.

I'm taking the heat on this one too, purely because I'm rooting for a game 7.  How hyped would that game be.  I think Boston has a better shot against the Warriors than the heat but couldn't stand watching Boston win another title.  Rooting for the heat then probably a boring finals.

Yeah, same here, +8.5 for the Heat is not that bad, although a ML at 4.40? that it going to be huge. You can see Herro's frustration at the bench, this guy is a competitor and obviously wanted to play in this finals.

And hoping for a game 7 to make this series more exciting. Warriors is waiting at the side and probably just taking a rest but for sure the coaching staff are going to put up a plan either against Boston or Miami in the NBA Finals.

I have the line and the moneyline.  8.5 just seems like too much for a do or die game given they are the one seed and they play low scoring games.  This one is gonna be a grind and I expect Jimmy buckets to ball out tonight.  X factor is if taytum has one of those insane 45 point games.  Then it'll be tough for them to hang.  If I were spoelstea I'd switch everything and double taytum make someone else be the hero.

I don't want a game in this series tbh, the last two game have been an eyesore to watch for me, and I'd rather have the Warriors vs Celtics finals getting underway.

Aside the fact that I don't fancy a game 7 here, I really don't have any form of optimism on the Heat tonight, their fight is over imo, they'll play under more pressure and I really don't see how that would be of any help to them.

Herro was terrific in the first game of this series, and would be a big boost for the Heat's next to dead offense, but Celtics defense also made adjustments to contain him after game 1, so I'm not expecting too much if he does get the green light.

If Boston ends the eastern finals in game 6, they will be expected to become favorite to win the finals.

I don't think so, it will not happen mate, the odds are already available, we can already see it now.  In the ongoing playoffs, Boston was never listed as the top favorite to win the NBA Championship, so I think, even if the Celtics will finish the ECF tomorrow, they will still be a slight underdog against the Warriors.

We can confirm that once the series in the east is over. For now, it's very obvious that the Warriors are the favorites, and what probably will make the Celtics the favorites if they gain the home-court advantage.

As per record in the regular season, Celtics are ranked number 2, while Warriors are ranked number 3, but in terms of win/loss record, Warriors has a better record.

Warriors have a better record and with a healthy trio of Green, Thompson and Curry all are leaders who can influence the whole team.

We need now to wait if who will win the eastern finals both Miami and Boston are really eager but only one team will advance to

NBA finals. Best of luck to each bettors who will pick side may the best team win!

Great! Most of us won our bets. Even the Over 213.5 was too low for the total end score.
That's it for our Western Conference and they will be resting until June 2. Wow! That's a long time to prepare for whoever they will be up against.
Which team do you think it is? I may not give up on Miami Heat just yet. This series is where I want to witness a Game 7 since both are adjusting pretty well after a loss.
2/2 Cheer to everyone.

It will be a great challenge for both teams. Miami needs a win to push this series to a do-or-die game.

while with the Boston, they need to be finish this series at home or else it will be a momentum changer once Miami managed
to win and go back home with a much more confident system.

We can't conclude yet, Miami will lean again to Butler and Bam while Boston will need both Tatum and Brown to play big
both team's stars need to step up in boosting the whole squad.

The current NBA champion betting odds.

I still believe that the eastern conference winner will take home the Larry O'Brien Trophy. Unless there are major changes like game suspensions and injuries barring vital players from competing. I am actually more concerned if Jimmy Butler's previous poor performance was due to his knee getting worse. At least Boston Celtics duo are still in their mid 20s and are healthy. Marcus Smart might is questionable though. Maybe they will rest him since Boston already beat Miami without him. Marcus Smart will be key in shutting down GSW's superb offense. If Boston ends the eastern finals in game 6, they will be expected to become favorite to win the finals.

Boston has a bigger roster of players that can score and have a lot more good shooters other then Tatum so this is a huge advantage for them. Miami cannot play without a good Jimmy Butler on the floor and that was seen in the previous games. So expecting Celtics in the final

That's the problem with the Heat, with Butler they will surely struggle. Also, I don't expect that Butler will suddenly turn an old Butler prior to injury in game 6, the preparation is too short and of course, we also have to consider if Herro will play or not as he is a big loss if he will not play again.

Good luck in game 6 guys, I hope you carefully choose your bet because it could be the last game in the ECF.
Celtics may win but may not cover, that could possibly happen.
