We have no choice, we cannot make a bet because there's no game available, we just have to wait until the new season will officially start or the starte of the preseason because bookies already have a betting odds for the games available.

Well, he can have other sports that he can familiarize himself with, but if he only wants basketball to be the sport, yes going basketball leagues right now are USA's WNBA, Germany's BBL, Spain's Liga ACB, and LEB Oro, Chile's Liga National, and Chinese Taipei's P League that is ongoing on stake.com if you really want pure basketball sports, because we can surely make some discussions on certain sports if you would make your own thread,

That's a lot of leagues to follow, I might be able to enjoy it but I'm not sure if I can be profitable on the betting side. You know, I'm more confortable betting on NBA because I love the league and at the same time I feel that I'm making a profit.

Yes, LeBron James is already near his retirement year but not now, maybe he'll play 2 more seasons before he decide if it's already his time. The thing that is preventing him to retire is he is still waiting for his son Bronny to be drafted and join the NBA, and that's also the reason why he chose not to re-sign with the Lakers management to be free agent so that he can move to teams where his son is playing.

In terms of championship rings, Steph Curry and LeBron James have now 4 rings and no doubt that Steph Curry will be ahead in that race soon and maybe he can also have more rings than Michael Jordan had.

Bronny James is not ready in my opinion he is in the 34th Rank nationally in his basketball career, if next year would still be the same for him then he is not really ready going forward to the NBA, and his father Lebron James is really nearing his retirement and could become almost 40 years by then, that could become very crucial for teams to sign him a contract because we all know that a person is just prone to injuries with that kind of age, and if Bronny James would not be playing on the NBA by that time, Lebron James would want a deal that if tea would get Bronny they can also get a Lebron James on their team, with a certain condition that he will not be talking about the amount of money as long as he gets to play Bronny on the same team, that could potentially get that team an amount of money if Lebron James could play for them,

OK, so the 2021-2022 season (this thread really needs a subject update, it's 2 years behind now) is in the books.  My question is, where are people going now to get their fix of basketball?  Are we all just waiting for summer league or the latest trade news?  I was thinking maybe I need to get more involved into international basketball, as I prefer that to college.  Anyone have any tips for me to help point me in the right direction?  Would love to get a year round basketball routine going so I'm not forced to watch baseball or football to get my athletic fix.

We have our local league and fortunately it is being covered by a sport bookies that I know of.

And then we have the WNBA, not followed it though like NBA, but I just started to bet on games and try to familiarized myself with the team. There are a lot of international basketball that it is really hard to give you tips as to which league.

Right! either our local league or WNBA or even those World cup that being hosted by bookies,

For now, let the teams and players rest and enjoy their vacations, especially the Warriors who won the world title, give them
time to spare with their families. They deserve the best vacation, with lots of perks coming from the team owners and sponsors..

I think we have to wait for a while, they will rest but we will never rest in betting. I think the next season will start in December this year, so that means we have to wait for more months for us to start betting on the NBA games again. I am now betting in our local basketball, and I'm seeing here that most of the local basketball fans are also betting NBA games, at least for us we have alternatives while NBA is still off.

We can find a basketball league that we love to watch and gamble. Since NBA is over, I focus my bets on the PBA which can be found in this https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/2022-23-pba-commissioners-cup-5169983... @OgNasty, if you like you can try betting but I'm not sure if you will be able to watch it live, maybe we have some posters in that certain thread that will share their picks for free.

Lebron James is getting older and has no old performance.
Stephen Curry will surpass Lebron in the number of championships.
We can say that Golden State has regained its strength, they are the favorites for the championship again next year. But next year I want to see Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving as champions.

Age is surely the issue for most athletes and their system couldn't catch up to them, even though they want to still play Basketball, or other sports or fight in the ring, it will be very difficult because their age is deteriorating their speed, senses, and strength, and there is no doubt that Stephen Curry is the new GOAT and may eventually pass the count of championship rings Michael Jordan have attained,

He sure changed his body built so he won't be predictable on just shooting threes, he can now attack the paint and have a higher percentage to shoot the ball after a good dance (crossover) with his defender.  Grin
That's how stars are made, by being unpredictable and not making a monotonous play. Hesitation moves won't work if a defender already knew what you will do or where you are going.
The other change he made is not dragging down his teammates on the defensive end, he became a good defender and did not rely on switches anymore which was the strategy in their first championship.
It's still fresh to me how he denied Horford to receive the ball.

Yep! that is why he is really enjoyable to watch the way he dances on the court and getting those defensive guys a hard time was really a treat, and we can really see why Stephen Curry change the game of Basketball forever, back in the day's Basketball was for the taller bigger guys has the reach advantage, and has the jumping power but Stephen Curry doesn't only have the talent on shooting threes, but his dedication proves that,

Bear season or just the beginning

Things are get to become excited again because of free agencies and trades.

Will it be possible for Damian Lillard to leave Portland and transfer to a better team like Denver Nuggets?

Miami Heat is already a tough team but is always open to sign anyone in order to further improve their roster. Is Bradley Beal possible for the Heat?

Dallas Mavericks is one of the teams eager to sign another star or reliable player to support Luka Doncic. Are they letting Dinwiddie go? They showed interest on Goran Dragic.

And the main highlight is Utah Jazz defender Rudy Gobert. He will be a big big improvement to any teams defensively.

I don't think so, I think he is consistent with his performance his average this season (If I am not mistaken) is PPG 30.3, RPG 8.2, APG 6.2 I think he was just unlucky that his team didn't make it to the playoffs but his individual performance is different, he is still one of the greatest. Though you are right that Curry might surpass him with the number of championships.

Looking forward too with the Brooklyn next season they actually my second favorite player as KD and Kyrie is in that team.

Right now the Boby build of Stephen Curry has tremendously changed, and yes he is more muscular now, gaining strength in pushing the drive inside, was really now easy for him, there could be some minor errors but the analysis is now proven that he is the real GOAT for the point guard, and shooting three's there is no doubt about that,

My pick for tonight.

Boston Celtics vs Golden State Warriors(+1,5) = First Quarter 1,85 odds

That's my bet tonight. I think Golden State will start well in the first quarter. Also I think they will be champions tonight.

My bet won.

It was certain for me that Golden State would be champions.
Golden State won the championship.
Stephen Curry was the Finals MVP.
Stephen Curry became champion for the 4th time.

He is tied with Lebron with the total number of championships win, but Lebron is already slowing down while Curry has regained the Warriors' form and they are a scary team in the next season. Just imagine if they have a healthy Wiseman, they will surely be almost unbeatable because they have no size weakness anymore.

What a 2021-2022 season! After two years of pandemic, the NBA finally made it back to its regular set up with 82 games. Golden State Warriors was only ranked 3 in the western conference and yet they were able to climb the ladder and prove to everyone that a healthy Klay Thompson is all they need to continue their dynasty. And hats off to Stephen Curry for his well deserved finals MVP.

Just after the final game, the commentators reminded me that the Golden State Warriors now made it to the finals 6 times in 8 years and they were crowned champions 4 times. And then this came up to my mind. If Klay Thompson was not injured for nearly three years, was it really possible that they continued reaching the finals in straight 8 years? And their defeat to Toronto Raptors was because Klay Thompson and KD were injured otherwise they could've easily beaten Toronto in that series.

They could surely reach that and I think if they continue to nurture their new talents or players I think their potential will surely be unlocked and can get to the finals again, even if Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry, or Draymond Green is not around for 2 or 3 more years, players like Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins, Kevon Looney, Gary Payton II, or Jonathan Kuminga could step up to the occasion, but from the past years that the Warriors hasn't become champions because of certain injuries, they surely have rise up to get what they really deserve and looking forward for the next season,

And that's also why Steph Curry was filled with emotion before the game ends and during the time the trophy was about to be given.
That cements the truth that the Warriors team is not about getting a star or filling the roster with stars, it's about teamwork without a doubt, unlike what their critics are trying to portray.
I think this is what critics are thinking.
2014-2015 - Warriors won because Kyrie was injured.
2015-2016 - They lose because Kyrie was healthy.
2016-2017 - They won because of Durant.
2017-2018 - Same as the former year.
2018-2019 - They lose because Durant was injured.
2021-2022 - I want to see what reason these critics will make to make it sound like they are still right.

This year is the sweetest win of all as it seals all the doubts. Steph is definitely one of the greatest of all time.

That emotion was legit after so much struggle and that injury in the play-offs the Warriors were not a complete team without Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, or Stephen Curry, aswell, but I think the drive for the Warriors was because of these three passion to rise to the occasion and the Confidence that Stephen Curry is showing when driving on the paint, that Tenacity and accuracy is what the players of the new generation are looking to do now, and Stephen Curry has solidified that he surely is a unique player through and through,

and I also want to know what the critics would say about them aswell, they can not say because the Brooklyn Nets didn't win against the Boston Celtics, because I think the Boston Celtics really deserve that win because the play of the Brooklyn Nets is easily read by the Celtics, that is why the Playoffs Round 1 game against the Nets was sweeped by the Celtics,

Perhaps the 6 ring will be enough for Curry to accomplished in his career. He has 4 already, Jordan 6 so he needs 2 more. If he keeps being healthy then maybe he can tie the record and leave Kobe and Lebron. But as far as the GOAT in 3PT he has sealed in already, I think his record will stand the test of time. Regarding his body, he has improved a lot, he is so muscular now that he can absorb the force specially when he will go for a layup.

I think Curry can break the number of championships Jordan has won.

If remains healthy, he can do that for sure. Curry is only 34 years old, there are plenty of seasons to be played and he just needs to win 3 straight seasons so he can break the record of MJ, and of course, win the finals MVP as well so it would solidify his legacy.

Looking at him, he's not an injury prone type of person as he's more shooting outside safely and when he drives the ball near the paint, he also make it sure to be safe and that's good for him as he have more years ahead of him in this league. He is sure the greatest 3PT shooter, so he need to play it safe every game as the team badly need him too. 3 more championship ring and he can get ahead on Jordan's record and about the Finals MVP, this is his 1st award so he still have a long way ahead.

6 rings for the Warriors is very possible, with the way they execute the system Curry can have a good rest

while Poole will take charge and Klay can also rest and let Wiggins back Poole up, I like to see also those support benches
with young Kuminga and Wiseman. They are celebrating now and if they will remain intact coming next season, this team
can win more championship rings together,.
