Well that Dallas bet and over didn't fare that well game 1 lol. Every game is a new one but I'm not sure Dallas has the tools to guard Porzingas. It's just not a good matchup. Gonna stick with my gut though and expect Dallas to come put a little better in the first quarter of game 2. I don't know if I can deal with Boston fans if the Celtics win this lol.
Kyrie Irving not contributing what is expected to him is one of the main factor why game 1 is one-side all throughout the game.
We can't deny that judging by his statistics in the game.
His overall FG % is only ( 6-19) 32%, with 12 points and 3 turnovers. If we look at the +/- , he is -19, the worst performer in the team.
Irving needs to come back in game 2 with a strong game, a 30+ points would be a big help for the team as Luka is expected to easily score 30+ too.
There are some games in the previous rounds where Irving wasn't scoring well, but the role players are ready to step up to fill the game.
The role players here aren't so effective like Hardaway who are scoreless and Jones with 5 points only.
Yes, this is the finals so both teams will play their best cards here, I mean both coaches will play and execute the best game play that they ever designed, this is the best time for everyone to jive in and make it worth when given the chance to play, today's game is more on how Boston prepared for their tight defense it's only Luka who play big but his support unable to outsmart the tight defense of Boston's specialist, they need to adjust and find the best way to rotate the ball and find the open man.
Aside from what you mention about Dallas mistakes on game 1. Kyrie Irving not contributing what is expected to him is one of the main factor why game 1 is one-side all throughout the game. He didn’t even manage to score a 3 while he doesn’t contribute much to lessen Luka burden while Celtics players are all monster and has a high potential to score that’s why it’s very hard to guard them compared to Dallas that only Luka is creating points.
I believe game 2 will be the same scenario since it’s very hard to adjust with that kind of overwhelming defeat. I believe this game will be the type that both team will win on home then the deciding factor will be game 5 to 7.

It's not a big amount but I felt that pain of losing not for my money but for them. And that is because the game 1 seems to be didn't breathe for their end and that's the reason why I felt bad for both sides.
Game 1 was just one game, and this is a long series so it would be stupid for Jason Kidd not to make adjustment when their strategy is proven not working. It's time for the Dallas to surprise the home team in game 2, I don't need a blowout team, I just want to see Dallas winning even in a close game.

I was waiting for them honestly and thought that Coach Jason Kidd will give them more playing time because of how they did well against the Timberwolves. But because Maxi Kleber is there, he's given more time but I like more the tandem of the two when they are together. I know that Kleber is Kidd's choice but he should have given more playing time to the two when they've got the chemistry already. Anyway, the game 1's done and we have to look forward for the game 2, I don't know if I'll still bet for it but I might change my mind as I want to see Luka lift that trophy. I had to change my bet from the Mavs to the Celtics' first-half handicap (-3.5), even though I like the full time handicap for the Mavs, you can't go wrong with the first-half handicap on the Celtics when it's only by a few points. This market wasn't that great during the Pacers series, but I think it'll be different against the Mavs, and they could struggle with the pace of the Celtics based on their previous meetings.
Easy cash for you! as Boston leads double digits during the first half and still maintain that lead up to this point, one more quarter and we will see if who will going to take this game, though the lead is still huge but knowing how the team can manage to outrun their opponents Boston needs to continue making their attacks and not to be careless to keep and maintain their lead.

That's 21 points on the lead by the Celtics, they're on fire but the game hasn't ended yet and we've seen a lot of cinderella games like this that the lead was so much and then the opposing team were able to get back. Let's see how the next half will be going, so that's two quarters still and I hope that the Mavs are going to at least fight for my money. Haha!

I had to change my bet from the Mavs to the Celtics' first-half handicap (-3.5), even though I like the full time handicap for the Mavs, you can't go wrong with the first-half handicap on the Celtics when it's only by a few points. This market wasn't that great during the Pacers series, but I think it'll be different against the Mavs, and they could struggle with the pace of the Celtics based on their previous meetings.
I think that Boston will win this series. I think that Boston will win tonight's game. However, I don't like the odds against Dallas that I'm seeing. Especially for a game 1 when Dallas has already beaten them multiple times during the season and Boston has been without Kristaps Porzingis for a few games. I think tonight has all the makings of an upset, so I'm going with the best odds for Dallas here. I think they can lose by less than 9 and have a chance to win, so there you have it. I would've taken Boston to win if the odds were better.

I know I'm just as excited as everyone else with the apparent commencement of the 2024 NBA Finals, I'm really not trying to get ahead of myself with my expectations or predictions. I'm going with Over 214.5 total points @ 1.70 Odds, there are some many hypes for certain match-ups, KP availability and Luka and Kyrie potential backcourt-duo dynasty, but the series is rather way too young to be dwelling on ifs and buts, so I'm rooting for good offensive efficiency to be at play for Game 1

I would take the -6.5 for a better odds. This Dallas hype has been all over, making the handicap very attractive. With that said, I think it's time to bet against them as this could be a blowout win by the Celtics. I'm thinking Celtics are gonna win by blowout in game 1, and Dallas will take game 2 or just cover the handicap but will loss.
I am not entirely sure if Dallas is the favourites, sure they did manage to beat some tough teams to get here, and even beat some tough teams that beat other tough teams, hence why many think that it is quite possible for Dallas to win.
They are not the betting favorite, as per the odds already released by casinos.
But, we need to remember that Boston has been quite strong as well. Just because they manage to beat their opponents easily, doesn't mean they had easy opponents, it just means that we are going to end up seeing a team that is actually quite good. I am not saying Boston will win, I am just saying Dallas doesn't have a sure thing here, we are going to probably see both teams go head to head quite strong, and I can see that this could also be a six or seven game series as well, they are quite evenly matched.
