The hype probably belong to the Dallas as they almost sweep the Timberwolves in the series, while the Celtics came from a boring victory as they easily dominated their opponents, swept the Pacers in the ECF. That's why we re gambling because there's no assurance as to what team will win, but if you are Dallas fan and you are confident they'll beat the Celtics, you should not waste your time and take that +184 while it's still available.

Just a little survey here:

Dallas finished by beating tough teams, like healthy teams, except for the Clippers, who didn't have a healthy Leonard. Now, they are in the NBA Finals trying to win a championship against a team that is also hungry to win. I would like to ask about the game 1 odds here. Are you tempted to bet on the Dallas handicap or the moneyline?

I read on other forums that some have been saying the game 1 handicap for Dallas, which is +6.5, might be a trap, and this could be another easy win for the home team to cover the spread. So now, what do you think about that? Will you change your mind, or will you follow your heart and take Dallas?

Both Dallas and Wolves are a good team defensively but most of their games went over, so I like your strategy on betting on the over as either team could score a lot of points especially if their 3 point shooting will fall. Luka just could not be stop, because if the Celtics will put their best defender on him, he can easily put him into foul trouble as this guy is just too good in fishing foul.

I guess we are all with Dallas here, the game 1 handicap was very tempting, but honestly, I'm not so comfortable with it as I find it a trap. I guess I'll follow the over but not gonna bet on Dallas, just in game 1.

That's right, the homecourt advantage might still affect but it's the least to be thought of. When teams are on the finals, they can't easily be affected by the crowd. They can't be intimidated with any cheering and that's whichever's homecourt is in there, there's no way to stop both of them. But this is the finals, there will only one winner.

That was an easy win by @GreatArkansas .. but he coud just go for the bigger odds, the moneyline.

Luka winning MVP still has some decent odds in it. Most likely Luka will win the MVP if Dallas will win because he contributes in every end, he is a triple double guy, so he might be limited with points but he'll have more assists and grab some rebound as well.

You never know, but odds that high is set that way for a reason, it will not likely hit but I remember before an odds higher than that winning the Finals MVP. if you still remember Andre Iguodala won the Finals MVP for the Warriors for doing a great job on Lebron, IIRC, the odds was like x100 that time.

With this kind of odds, I think it's already a steal as they came from a loss and will likely adjust to beat the Wolves in game 5. But if they fail again, 7 points is too many to cover for the Wolves. Additionally, a news update came out that Lively is now upgraded to "questionable." That's a positive update considering he was reportedly out before this new information.

Furthermore, I think the under looks very appealing here. Since every game is a do-or-die game for the Wolves, the defense will be intense, just like what we witnessed in game 4 where they were in foul trouble. So, I believe the play here is under 210.

I seem to be getting them all wrong this series but that won't stop me from making predictions. The Mavericks might have a tough night for them tomorrow in Minnesota, but I think they'll be able to keep it close at the very least. Getting 7+ points on the spread when you're up 3-1 seems downright disrespectful from a betting standpoint, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and taking Dallas with the spread here. I wouldn't mind seeing it go another game though.

If you have put your money on Timberwolves and it is -4.5 for the Mavs then congratulations to you.

The next game is interesting, this is likely where the Mavs will be able to end the series. But then, who knows what might come and the Wolves are still alive and breathing.

But then, it's hard for any team to have that come back coming from a 3-0 or 3-1.
