It is being spread too fast and I am really getting worried now.
Looks like we all need vitamins and exercise from now on.

This shitty virus is going to bring the economy down. Sports specially which needs viewers to make money from all their advertisements.

My understanding is that if regular season will resume, the latest standing will be followed and they will finish the regular season but schedules will only be move. I am not sure if that's the thing here.

Trying to follow the status of Gobert here as seriously, I don't know what would happen if a person will be infected, will they die?
According to some news, if you have a good immune system you'll not be infected but Gobert is an athlete and still he was infected, this is really scary.

Most of the infected ones died because they have a history of illness.
Diabetes, lung disease or they are not healthy.

You are correct about Gobert being healthy but they cannot just rely on that.
At some point the virus will be dead if you keep doing things like you normally do.
But, he needs to be quarantined just to be safe specially when there is no cure yet. Or if there is, I don't know if they are already providing other countries.

I have some good wins days before to this suspension announcement, maybe I can rest for a while and just accept that this really happened.
Trying to follow the status of Gobert here as seriously, I don't know what would happen if a person will be infected, will they die?

I also think other leagues might be suspended, so that would really make us relax for awhile but we can only do that at home.

That's how infectious this virus, not even those we think as healthy people are exempt once the virus spread out. Good move from the commissioners and all the NBA managements. Protecting the interest of everyone and not just for the money.
It's better to be safe than be infected of this spreading disease, the virus is already everywhere needs to have extra careful in everything we do now.
Fans will surely understand this as one of the star already infected of this disease.

The game between Jazz and OKC was initially delayed and then postponed. The news just broke out that Rudy Gobert has tested positive for covid-19. The risk of other Jazz players/staff members contracting the virus is very high.

Adam Silver was probably going to announce tomorrow that all games would be played without fans but now with the news of NBA infected players, i won't be surprised if they stop all games altogether and just pause the season.

It's happening guys! NBA has suspended all matches until further notice, starting from the Utah Jazz vs Thunder game.

It's been speculated that Rudy Golbert was touching every mic and all other things in his pre-game interview, and apparently got sick just before the game.

It can become a virtual NBA afterwards. Way different than watching it live.

Well, we are gamblers here so the game must go on. I think they will still have a part of whatever the Vegas is getting from those scores.
It is just sad to see that the entertaining industry is also being affected by a virus that for me is created as a weapon for mass killing.
They might have just tried it if it does work. That's my opinion though.

Anyway, maybe I am going full blast with my bets.
But, it will be difficult now. You won't rely on a home court advantage from now on.

That's a big money, but they can't stop the game, the decision to play without the fans is good because people can still watch online and of course still can bet online, if the conspiracy theory is true that NBA is fixing games, they'll be making more than $3.5 million per game, do you believe?

Boys get them parlays while you can, i hear that the NBA is in discussion to make some drastic changes very soon due to the COVID-19 threat.
We might see games canceled, games played without fans, games played at neutral places (not yet affected by the virus). Worst case scenario - shutting down the NBA for a period of time.

This shit should just leave our lovely sports out of this, it's crazy to just keep seeing several sporting events being halted because of the threats the COVID-19 posses, EPL, UCL and now the NBA ?! I just hope they do find a lasting solution on how to contain it ASAP!
