In the top of the table match between OKC and Celtics, i'm taking the extra points with OKC. It's too good knowing three of their five losses at home have been within by four points or less. Even though OKC doesn't have the best record in covering at home as the underdog (2-2), I still think they'll have a good chance at covering when the Celtics aren't as great on the road(5-8).



I agree the amount of luck yesterday was unexpected, as teams with newly traded players easily won despite being an underdog. The Pistons' loss was unfortunate when Cade couldn't convert most of his shots. Then again, it's still impressive that the Pistons held on until halftime before the Rockets pulled away in the third quarter.

Looks like we’re back to a full slate of NBA games after the holidays. Today there are a couple matchups I like if you wanted to go for an easy parlay win as is my calling card. First I like the Grizzlies to beat the Spurs.  Ow with Ja back it should be an easy game for them. I also like the Kings over the Hornets. The Kings are just a much better team.

6 games later. Here are my picks.

Philadelphia 76ers - Chicago Bulls - Philadelphia 76ers (-10.5) Nikola Vucevic is still not cleared to play. I think it will take one more week before he comes back. Zach LaVine too is not yet available. 76ers might win this easily and I wish they can cover the spread.

Oklahoma City Thunder - Boston Celtics - Boston Celtics (-1.5) It's only 1.69 but I will take it, don't want to be too greedy against the Thunder who will be playing at home. They sometimes surprise me with their offensive talents.

New Orleans Pelicans - Brooklyn Nets - New Orleans Pelicans (-3.5) Dorian Finney-Smith is probable for the Nets. The Pelicans had been playing great in their last two games and one of them was just recently against the strong Lakers. I bet they can cover that low spread.

Memphis Grizzlies - San Antonio Spurs - Memphis Grizzlies (-10.5) Grizzlies should win this one and stop the bleeding. They are now on their 3rd losing streak and it's not looking good for them. Take the lead early and finish it on a blowout at their home.

113-136, that was a 23 point victory by the Rockets who miss  Dillon Brooks due to an injury. I would say that the Pistons were just lucky against the Raptors because they are showing their real capability again. As much as possible, stay away from this team, or if you can't at least bet against them.

Actually, with my pick for today's game, I would surely go fully with the underdogs but going with the Utah Jazz was the right decision anyway here is the result of my bet and prediction for this game,

New York Knicks VS Minnesota Timberwolves SCORE 112 - 106 - LOST

The Minnesota Timberwolves got a great start but the New York Knicks got them really good in the 2nd quarter of this game I thought that the Timberwolves would win this and I was wrong Julius Randle was a beast and Jalen Brunson was the playmaker for the New York Knicks, and from this game, Donte DiVincenzo got 15 points, OG Anunoby got 17 points, Jalen Brunson has a double-double of 14 assists and 16 points while Julius Randle got 39 points for this game and winning against the number 1 team in the West,

Milwaukee Bucks VS Indiana Pacers SCORE 113 - 122 - LOST

Now in this game, I was really baffled by the results of this game, I really thought that the Milwaukee Bucks would win but because I underestimated the Indiana Pacers, and what Tyrese Haliburton can do I never saw that coming, I really wanted to choose the Indiana Pacers in this game I surely got a hunch but I didn't follow it, so I lost, Giannis Antetokounmpo was a monster getting a triple-double for this game, but yeah Bennedict Mathurin has a double-double of 13 rebounds and 25 points, and Tyrese Haliburton also has a double-double of 11 assist and 26 points for this game,

Utah Jazz VS Dallas Mavericks SCORE 127 - 90 - WIN

The Only game I won and Because of the Injuries and the less time the main players for the Dallas Mavericks would have I risked my bet for the Utah Jazz for this game I surely need to go with what I think the game will go, and for this game, this is just a gut feeling that the underdog may win and most of the underdog in all my picks did win, and with the Utah Jazz, from start to finish, Lauri Markkanen got 17 points, Simone Fontecchio got 24 points and Jordan Clarkson has a triple-double of 10 rebounds 11 assist and 20 points for this game,

until now the 2nd quarter of the detroit pistons are still behind 47-40 from the houston rockets. of the 33 matches that have been played, they only won the match at 3x, 1 of which was the match before the rocket opponent, against the toronto raptors. it was a narrow win, which before that more than 10 matches always lost.
I think meet houston rocket opponent will lose too.

It's time to ride the Pistons after breaking their losing streak.  

I also prefer to fade the Rockets because they've been regressing after losing three of their home games last week and their opponents even had a slight disadvantage(missing key player, worse form, etc.). The Pistons could keep it below double digits and cover if the Rockets keep this regression going.

Always tough betting on NBA games on New Year's Day.  You never know who was out late the night before and holding back vomit as they sprint up and down the court.  That being said, I think there are a couple of safe mismatches today that might make a decent multi-bet together.  First up, the Rockets and the Pistons.  I think the Pistons might be on a good run at the moment, but don't give them too much credit.  You also have the Nuggets likely beating the Hornets, and the Suns taking down the Trail Blazers.  Those are my picks for the day.  Good luck and Happy New Year!

Morant struggled in this game scoring only 17 points, which is relatively low compared to his past performances. Maybe the biggest reason here is that the Memphis aren't too aggressive in grabbing the rebounds, that's the department where they were taken advantage at, and you can see the big disparity.

The stake odds for this game are 2.03 for the Knicks and 1.83 for the Timberwolves, right now Mitchell Robinson, has an Ankle injury and is out this season, and Malachi Flynn also has an ankle injury and can not play for the New York Knicks, while Jaylen Clark has an Achilles Injury and can not play for the Minnesota Timberwolves, both of this team are doing great right now but the Minnesota Timberwolves is the number 1 in the west right now and they have just won against the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers, so my pick is the Minnesota Timberwolves,  

Milwaukee Bucks VS Indiana Pacers

The stake odds for this game are 1.33 for the Bucks and 3.50 for the Pacers, Right now MarJon Beauchamp has Illness and is questionable if he can play for the Bucks Thanasis Antetokounmpo and Jae Crowder both can not play for the Milwaukee Bucks, while Bruce Brown has a knee injury and is questionable if he can play for the Indiana Pacers, for this game I would really like to make a bet for the Indiana Pacers but right now those injuries for both teams is not that serious but the Milwaukee Bucks is a likely candidate in winning so my pick is the Milwaukee Bucks,

The stake odds for this game are 2.25 for the Jazz and 1.68 for the Mavericks, Right now the Utah Jazz doesn't have any injuries, while Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, Seth Curry, and Dante Exum are all questionable if they can play for the Mavericks, and Maxi Kleber has a toe injury and can not play for the Dallas Mavericks, for this game the Jazz could have a 100% form while the Dallas Mavericks most well-known players got injuries even though they can play the game they are limited in time, so I think I may risk a bet for the Utah Jazz,

Today's interesting match between phoenix suns and orlando magic. currently orlando magic is ranked 4th in the eastern conference while phonix suns is ranked 8th. devin brooker and kevin durant will definitely fight hard to win this match to raise the rankings to be safe in the playoff zone. in this match phonix suns is favored to win with odds of 1.44.
If I choose the pick under over total points, my pick is over 200

The odds on the Grizzlies felt like they could've been more favored despite losing two in a row, or maybe it's a testing ground for them after getting shaken up by good teams.

Even though the Kings snapped their two-game losing streak, I still think they got lucky, as the Hawks were leading by 18 points in the first half and threw it all away in the second half due to the atrocious shooting that only got them 39 points.

Indiana Pacers (1.53) VS New York Knicks (2.60) - WIN


The New York Knicks got a great lead in the 1st quarter of the game but the Indiana Pacers eventually got their momentum and took over at the end of the 1st half, it was a close game, both teams did great but the Indiana Pacers just got what they want in playing a great game in Tyrese Haliburton's leadership, the team play for the Knicks was really not that great while the Pacers teamwork was incredible Aaron Nesmith, Myles Turner, and Bennedict Mathurin and all the other guys were the one that Halliburton was trusting and making that double-double 23 assist and 22 points, for this game,

Chicago Bulls (1.85) VS Philadelphia 76ers (2.00) - WIN


From start to finish the Chicago Bulls didn't let the Philadelphia 76ers take any lead, and from the 2nd half the Chicago Bulls were already leading and making a great lead toward this game, for sure no Joel Embiid and it was a struggle for the Philadelphia 76ers, but I never thought that the Chicago Bulls will eventually get this done with just an ease game for them

Never imagined that the Detroit Pistons would win this game but for sure it was a close game sure the Detroit Pistons struggled in winning against the Toronto Raptors but yeah from those 29 consecutive losses they got I thought they would get even further from that, but yeah it was a win for the Detroit Pistons and I have seen your bets you have won 1 out of 4, while this is the result of my bet for today's game

Minnesota Timberwolves VS Los Angeles Lakers SCORE 108 - 106 - WIN

The Los Angeles Lakers got a great start until the 2nd quarter but at the end of the 1st half the Minnesota Timberwolves managed to turn the tables, and by getting the lead it was a close game for both teams and from that the 2nd half was a bit of a struggle for the Los Angeles Lakers they didn't manage to get the lead for this game it was a very close game and yet the Los Angeles Lakers didn't manage to get a lead, Anthony Davis got a monster performance of a double-double of 17 rebounds and 33 points, and Karl-Anthony Towns didn't do well and played only 29 mins it was all thanks to Mike Conley Jr. 15 points, Naz Reid 21 points, and Anthony Edwards 31 points winning this game,

Golden State Warriors VS Dallas Mavericks SCORE 122 - 132 - LOST

The Golden State Warriors did struggle in the 1st half not making any lead at all from start to finish but for sure the Golden State Warriors did a great job in making their play and it was all thanks to Chris Paul and the awareness of the Warriors is getting great every game, and for sure if this continues it will become natural for them and all those mistakes will be lessened in my opinion, the Dallas Mavericks is a formidable team but the Golden State Warriors did a great job in getting a close game against the Mavericks I can not stress even further but it was lost but they got a great game just lessen defense, Josh Green got 18 points, Dante Exum got 19 points and Luka Doncic has a double-double of 10 assists and 39 points winning this game,

Utah Jazz - Miami Heat - Miami Heat (-1.5) - Jazz won. I lost. Great job by Sexton leading the offense.

Detroit Pistons - Toronto Raptors - Toronto Raptors (-4.5) Another loss. Argh! the Pistons finally win and broke the losing streak.

Minnesota Timberwolves - Los Angeles Lakers - Minnesota Timberwolves (-2.5) Crap! Anthony Edwards missed one of the 2 free throws. Another loss. The Timberwolves won but did not cover.

Golden State Warriors - Dallas Mavericks - Golden State Warriors (-1.5) - And another loss. Klay Thompson seems to be having a hard time finding himself again. A very bad day for me.

Luckily, I had one bet that I was not able to share.

The Pacers punished the Knicks for not doing hard defense on distance shots. The Pacers made 23/42, that's freaking 54 percent and that should not happen if you are dealing with a team that is good at shooting three points.

Gambler’s intuition for the win! I wish the odds had been better but I’m glad I went against the grain on this one. I’m happy for the Detroit Pistons too. They needed a win bad as their situation was getting extremely embarrassing.

Gotcha, Pistons finally broke their long losing streak, it was a close game though but a 2 point victory is big enough to get out of shame against fans criticism. But they can't worry about that because they'll still end up as the worst team in the NBA this season, and would probably get the first pick.

Not looking good for 76ers so far, but you got the Mavs and Wolves right, so far.
