But for tonight's game, it's unpredictable as it looks like a even match on paper. Although in the Mavs vs Lakers, superstars of the respected team might not play and that's why the Lakers are the favorite so I'm taking them with handicap -1.5 (the line though has move to -2.5 as of this writing).
The handicap is all over the place, earlier it was -4.5, and now it's down to -1.5 after I grabbed the ML(1.59) at the bad time.

Kyrie is out for the Mavs, but they still have Luka, so this could still be close. On a positive note, Lebron and AD are now confirmed for the Lakers, so they should have the upper hand here.

I'm going with the long road, here, the Dallas Mavericks are no walkover, not even without having Kyrie on the court, they've got Dante Exum, who been doing impressively and and Dereck Lively is also doing a great job on the board, so I can see them giving the Lakers a run for their money, so it's the Dallas Mavericks ML @ 2.34 for me.

Looking good so far, they were able to control on the first half but let's see if they could continue that. On the Lakers side, Davis were able to continue his impressive game during the in season championship, but his teammates aren't so on point, but there's this full 2nd half, let's see what kind of adjustment they'll make to come back in the game.

I pick 10.5+ points for Derick Lively II since he averaged 30 minutes per game. I pick Sam Hauser for 7.5+ points, eventhough he only scored 1 point in their last game against the Knicks. The  Celtics just really want Kristaps to get revenge against his old team. Sam average 10+ point before that game.  Coby White consistently records 5+ assists, except in the last game. I believe Drew Eubanks will play more minutes today.

Here's my parlay pick for today's games.

Not taking too many games except for the Warriors to win to fight with KD sitting.  I took a lot of prop bets

M moody over 7.5 points
Luka over 51.5 points/asst/reb
Derozen over 24.5 points.
Sabonis over 12.5 boards
Jarret Allen over 8.5 boards (evan mobley is out)

Looking at some more but that's the start.

I also hit a good 4 game parlay last night @6.90.

It's a local gambling site though if you will have to notice at the top.

It's Nuggets, Kings and Rockets by handicap and then I have Philly by ML (this is the start of the parlay, I just want to make sure that I will have a good win in the beginning). And I think the majority has a good win as well, congrats to everyone.

So after a day of break, the NBA regular season will resume tomorrow.

I'm thinking of selecting few games only, just the quality games I feel I'm confident with my pick.
So, here are my early leans.

-2.5 Magic over the Cavaliers.
(Magic is 10-2 at home, they should win and cover the spread)

-11.5 Sixers over Washington Wizards
(Last time Wizards covered, this time around they'll not be lucky)

-2.5 Denver over Hawks
(Hawks just a bad team at home with 3-6 record, Denver should win)

-4.5 Kings over Brooklyn
(I just like the home team here)

4-4, what a lucky you had mate.

Everything was just perfect as the winners were in control of the game in most of the quarters.

I didn't know Murray was already back, and in his first game, he already lead his team to a big win with 29 points.
He doesn look like he wasn't coming from an injury as he still had the same confidence.

Now, Nuggets back to a complete healthy line up.

Thank you. Sometimes when you on a hot streak it's nice to share some picks,  so I'm posting my picks for tomorrow again.

-10 Boston (They are 10-0 at home, 7-3 ATS, while Cavaliers are on a back to back game. All the advantage is on the Boston)

-7.5 Denver (Both teams are on a back to back game, so let's go back to 1. Since Denver is the better team, I'm choosing them)

LAL vs DAL and GSW vs SUNS.. These games could be a close ones, it's hard to choose that way, so I'll pass.

Detroit Pistons - Indiana Pacers - Indiana Pacers (-4.5)
Orlando Magic - Cleveland Cavaliers - Orlando Magic (-1.5)
Charlotte Hornets - Miami Heat - Miami Heat (-1.5)
Atlanta Hawks - Denver Nuggets - Denver Nuggets (-1.5)
Memphis Grizzlies - Dallas Mavericks - Dallas Mavericks (-1.5)

First pick.
Boston Celtics - Cleveland Cavaliers - Boston Celtics (-8.5) I didn't max it out to -10.5 although I am not in doubt that the Celtics will win this one. Just taking the safer pick.
Second pick.
Chicago Bulls - Denver Nuggets - Denver Nuggets (-5.5) Well, both are playing back-to-back but Nuggets has the firepower to win. Also, the win from their first road game could give a lingering confidence to the team. Their bench will probably be playing with lots of energy.
Third pick.
Los Angeles Clippers - Sacramento Kings - Los Angeles Clippers (-1.5) This team even if they play back-to-back has no problem. They have so many stars that can heat up anytime and contribute.

Good luck everyone.
Boston x Cleveland - It's hard to do a huge handicap to Boston here, Cleveland played incredibly strong these past few weeks. Though I'm going to take Celtics on this one, but I'll put myself safer than -8.5, maybe -3.5 or -4.5, I'll try to bet on the live game so the odds are realistic.

Chicago x Denver - I'm too concerned with Jamal's performance since he came back, it seems like it was not the play I used to see him play with Denver also Nikola's stats from the past 3 games are getting low. Chicago on the otherhand made a close call with Bucks earlier today, DeRozan putting 41 points on the board. I'll probably have Chicago +5.5

Clippers x Sacramento - I'll give this for Sacramento all day.

Atlanta Hawks - Denver Nuggets - Denver Nuggets (-1.5)
Memphis Grizzlies - Dallas Mavericks - Dallas Mavericks (-1.5)
Perfect! Finally another good win today.

That Miami Heat win scared me a bit. They only won by 2 points and luckily I was not greedy enough to add more on the spreads. Also, thank you @Maslate for the tips. We may not have the same bets on other games but the other two we definitely hit it.  Wink
I think this is the first I hit this many team wins in one day and I kind of love the feeling of perfecting it even though it's rare. Most of the favorites won their respective games, if I am right it is just the Timberwolves who were upset. Correct me if I am wrong.

Later 5 games.
Mavericks, Cavaliers, Bulls, Nuggets, Clippers, and Kings. These teams are playing back-to-back games so be sure to be careful with your picks.

First pick.
Boston Celtics - Cleveland Cavaliers - Boston Celtics (-8.5) I didn't max it out to -10.5 although I am not in doubt that the Celtics will win this one. Just taking the safer pick.

^^ Didn't watch the game though, but I was monitoring the score and it seems that the game was close between the Nuggets and the Hawks.

But I never doubted that they will win this game with the handicap of at least -1.5. That was the bet that I put since yesterday. I thought that there were games but it seems that they have rested about the tournament that the Lakers won. I got it at 1.86, so it was a good bet with the Nuggets here.

If you certainly have a gut feeling then use that because it is something that is proven right sometimes but here are my picks for games today

Atlanta Hawks (2.17) VS Denver Nuggets (1.73)

  • Atlanta Hawks Injury List

Jared Rhoden (Back/ Game Time Decision)
Marvin Bagley III (Back/ Game Time Decision)
Jalen Duren (Ankle/ out until at least Dec 28)
Monte Morris (Quadriceps/ out until at least Jan 9)

  • Denver Nuggets Injury List

Jay Huff (Leg/ Game Time Decision)
Jamal Murray (Ankle/ Game Time Decision)
Vlatko Cancar (Knee/ out until at least Apr 2)

Congratulations! You picked well and won three games today. I am not feeling well and I only managed one bet on Denver Nuggets.

Jamal Murray played. And thankfully it was the right decision because he led his team in scoring in what I assumed would be an easy win. But Atlanta thrilled its home fans when the match became closer. After a 15 point lead, it was trimmed down to 4, courtesy of two threes from Bogdanovich within a minute. That was almost able to alter the outcome of the match. It was a disheartening night for Bogdan Bogdanovich who scored 40.

J. Randle 20+ points / J. Randle 8+ rebounds @1.97  won

Randle saved my ticket with garbage time bucket vs. Boston so i'm returning the favor and sticking with him.

Knicks say Mitchell Robinson will have left ankle surgery this week and will be re-evaluated in 8-10 weeks.

Knicks are thin upfront and Hartenstein will be the one to get increased minutes/workload, but i like the spot for Randle when Robinson is not playing. Randle had a double-double with 10 boards and 20 points in the first meeting between these two teams just ten days ago. I am kind of hoping for a similar output today.

I got the same bet because I can't bet against the Lakers again after their game against the Pelicans. I avoided the handicap because the bet can quickly lose if they suddenly can't hit more than half of their shots, similar to the Suns game a few days ago. And as much as I like the Pacers to win because of their impressive underdog run, they probably won't have an easy time running their explosive offense against this Lakers team that is improving on the defensive end.

Though the game is not yet over but it seems the Lakers is too much for the Pacers. Davis dominating the paint causing Myles Turner to be in foul trouble is huge since no one in the Pacers bench could guard Davis better than Turner I think.

Lebron is again in beast in the third quarter as he is fresh since he has not played so many minutes in the first half due to foul trouble so congrats in advance kabayan for that ML bet.

Yeah, I wasn't able to bet on this game, but in any case I will go with the Pacers here.

So let's see how it goes, another 12 minutes for Pacer to turn the game around. But it seems that the Lakers is really poised to get this one, Lebron and his team are putting a good showing.

Davis is making it very hard for the Pacers to get inside. Lakers still leading 92-84.

EDIT: 5 straight points by the Pacers, cutting the lead to 3, Obi's 3 and then a steal for a layup.

I remembered a recent funny story related to  Pacers.

On November 22, about 3 weeks ago, they played Atlanta and I bet that the teams would score less than 230 or 240 points. Something like this. Since I have nights during NBA matches, I usually find out about the results in the morning. Imagine my disappointment when in the morning I saw that these teams broke some league record and scored more than 300 points between them

EDIT: 5 straight points by the Pacers, cutting the lead to 3, Obi's 3 and then a steal for a layup.
This small run by the Pacers during the start of the fourth quarter got me nervous since it had a lot of back and forth. And then the Lakers got their turn to push the lead back to double digits.

Even though the Pacers lost, it was still impressive that the game remained competitive despite their low shooting percentages.

so congrats in advance kabayan for that ML bet.
Thanks, and congrats to everyone else who backed the Lakers.  Smiley

Congrats! The Lakers managed to bring that game to their favor after that short run by the Pacers, I did not manage to watch the game and I failed to spare some coins for them. They play great game as AD really dominates, plus Reaves and LeBron back him up to produce decent numbers that they needed to secure the win.

Pacers on the other hand, did really try working to keep the gap close, but not enough to make a rally to snatch the game. It's a sweet win with a decent ML!

If AD played like that consistently, we could easily assert that the Lakers are a championship team.

The way they made the usual scorers for the Pacers, Hali, and Turner, struggle speaks volumes about how strong their defense is. It's the experience of the Lakers was their weapon in this championship game, marking another chapter in the history of LeBron and AD working together. Congratulations to the bettors; I'm sure we have many silent winners here, as the Lakers were the obvious picks.
I unfortunately took the Pacers and took a loss, but it's hard to win when Anthony Davis was so dominant. 41 points and 20 rebounds is about as impressive as it gets. Lebron had 24 points with 11 rebounds and Reaves had an impressive 28 point performance. The Lakers were there to prove a point!

My guts told me not to put a bet on which team will win the match, I believed those youngins can go over Lebron's supremacy to the game but Davis cut them off telling something about the fans. He's with Lebron, the greatest player on the NBA right now, alright I didn't say GOAT I don't want to debate  Tongue Lebron and Davis on the court reminds of old school players playing dominantly on the perimeter, that 39-year old body of Lebron doesn't look right to me and look at Davis, didn't you see how he went to Pacer's center player chest trying to make a basket? that's hella crazy.

Here are my picks for the upcoming NBA games for today

Detroit Pistons VS Indiana Pacers

The stake odds for this game are 3.20 for the Detroit Pistons and 1.37 for the Indiana Pacers, for this game Marvin Bagley III and Jared Rhoden are questionable if they can play for the Pistons, and Jalen Duren and Monte Morris can not play for this game against the Indiana Pacers while Aaron Nesmith is questionable if he can play, Jalen Smith and Andrew Nembhard can not play for the Indiana Pacers, for me because of the less injuries the Pacers have my pick is the Indiana Pacers,

Orlando Magic VS Cleveland Cavaliers

The stake odds for this game are 1.81 for the Orlando Magic and 2.06 for the Cleveland Cavaliers, for this game Jalen Suggs is questionable if he can play for the Magic, Wendell Carter Jr., Markelle Fultz, and Kevon Harris can not play for this game, while Ty Jerome, Evan Mobley, Caris LeVert and Ricky Rubio can not play for the Cleveland Cavaliers for this game the Orlando Magic doesn't have much injuries, while for me the Magic has a great defense for this fight so my pick is the Orlando Magic,

Charlotte Hornets VS Miami Heat

The stake odds for this game are 2.40 for the Charlotte Hornets and 1.61 for the Miami Heat, For this game Mark Williams, and Nick Smith Jr. are questionable if they can play for the Hornets, Frank Ntilikina, Cody Martin, and LaMelo Ball can not play for the Charlotte Hornets while Kyle Lowry is questionable if he can play Dru Smith is out for this season, Bam Adebayo, Haywood Highsmith, and Tyler Herro all can not play for the Miami Heat, for this game because the Miami Heat is still looking good and for sure no main Players that are injured today I am going with the Miami Heat,

It's already -2.5 now. I'd still go with the Mavericks, as sometimes even without Irving Dallas is still a strong team. Plus, if you look at the stats of the Memphis, they are 1-9 at home, so you can easily spot which is the better team betwen the two. By the way, Dallas is 7-4 on the road, so Dallas is the right pick based on those comparisons.

I like your picks bro @Maslate.
Had a good rest after the exciting Finals of the In-Season Tournament. I hope I can a perfect score on the games later.
13 games to be exact.

Here are my picks.
Detroit Pistons - Indiana Pacers - Indiana Pacers (-4.5) - They had their rest and I bet they are hungry. The Pacers may have also looked at the IST Finals tape and will fix their mistakes from now on. Plus, I really love the fast pace type of game performance.

Orlando Magic - Cleveland Cavaliers - Orlando Magic (-1.5) @Maslate already said the reason why we picked the Magic.

Charlotte Hornets - Miami Heat - Miami Heat (-1.5) Bam is out, that's the reason for the low spreads. But I do believe in the Miami Heat, they might still win this one. I want to see Duncan Robinson stepping up his game big time.

Atlanta Hawks - Denver Nuggets - Denver Nuggets (-1.5) The Nuggets had a bad home game against the Rockets and they will try to start their road game with a win. IMO.

Memphis Grizzlies - Dallas Mavericks - Dallas Mavericks (-1.5) No Kyrie Irving and a lot of starters but headband Luka can sometimes be a monster. Ja Morant is still not back, 4 more games before his return. The Mavs might steal this one.

Good luck everyone.

Lebron won the MVP, I thought the award should go to Davis. Was the criteria for judging is the overall performance in the in season tournament or just the finals? Because if it was the Finas, Davis was the one beasting, so he should have won the Award.

Anyway, we saw the lack of maturity of the Pacers, it wasn't what I expected to be honest, I thought somehow they'll be able impose their dominance but we didn't see that, their star players were bothered by the good defense of the Lakers.

I took the handicap because I had faith for in the Lakers to win. The Pacers were simply outgunned. Lakers always have an answer when Pacers are about to stay close.

It is a whole In-Game tournament MVP award so Lebron James has the merits to take it. Anyhow, Anthony Davis had a monster performance. 40 points, 20 rebounds, and a number of blocks were made. Davis scarcely missed his shots.

Albeit this is just a minor accomplishment compared to the playoffs. This is how terrifying the Lakers will be in games necessary to them. But in order for them to do it, they need to be healthy.
I placed my bet on Lebron James because I thought they were surely giving it to him but I think Anthony Davis deserved it more. Thanks for clearing it up about if it's for the finals or the whole tournament. Whole tournament makes sense. Otherwise, if just by the finals only then Davis would have gotten it. And I can't stop but pointing out to something, it is Lebron's 21st season. That is just crazy, man. It is great that not only he deserves being the mvp, but just him being a candidate about it is amazing.
