The Chicago Bulls face off versus the Charlotte Hornets tonight where the spread is at -4.5 Bulls.  Ever since Lavine went down they seem to be playing a different game of basketball which has been paying dividends for them, so far.  I don't think they are necessarily a better team without Zach Lavine, but I say ride the hot hand while he's out and things are clicking for them.

Placing a small bet tonight.  Shall see if riding the wave continues.

The Sacramento Kings lost. Ouch! Moving on.

I like those picks @stadus, I think I am tailing that.

Over should be the easy bet, ... But we still have the 2nd half of the game, hopefully Bucks would be able to pull away with a big lead and bring us the "W"...As they say, no big lead is safe as anytime a team could have a big run and beat their opponent with the spreads, Bucks should be able to deliver that to us.

Halftime score. NYK 72 .. Bucks 75.

I expected this game to be the lowest scoring one of the the knock out round, at least at half time, as I've got them on the Under for the first half, but that's a lost cause already.

Despite the being quite physical both teams playing some great defensive plays, I'm extremely surprised by the offensive effectiveness of both teams too, Milwaukee with quite of 3pts shot fall for them, Lillard 4/4 3PT, A.J. Green 3/3 of 3PT as well, the high scoring nature of this fixture is literally about the extremely great scoring percentage from both parties so far.

It ended more than expected, turns out it was a dominant win by the Bucks outscoring the Knicks by 24 points.

Now, let's focus our attention to the next game, I'm adding more money on the Suns moneyline as I'm too confident they'll beat the Lakers on their home court.
I hope you took the +. KD did great at not letting the Lakers go far because just looking at their 1st half performance, the Lakers could've blown them out by the number of turnovers the Suns did.
Like Reggie Miller said, consider it as a blessing. This is the hardest part of the team when there's no real pointguard that would protect the basketball.
KD cannot always handle the ball and just by watching him I felt exhausted for him. Booker keeps on turning it over whenever he is doubled like something is rattling him. Maybe the injury did hit him hard mentally.

Anyway, that's 1 of 2 for me again. It seems like it will be difficult to make a perfect bet nowadays especially at the In-Season tournament. It's just too unpredictable and all team are playing hard.

Later a rest for the IST. 11 games are listed for the regular season.
Here are my early bets.
Cleveland Cavaliers - Orlando Magic - Cleveland Cavaliers (-2.5)
Washington Wizards - Philadelphia 76ers - Philadelphia 76ers (-10.5)
Minnesota Timberwolves - San Antonio Spurs - Minnesota Timberwolves (-10.5)

Parlay makers, time to shine again.
Good luck everyone.

Unfortunately, I got a L on this game, I thought that the Knicks will offer resistance in this game and make it close at least. But it was a dominant win by the hometown them. Giannis really play hard in this game as they don't want to be eliminate so with this big win, they move already.

I wasn't able to bet on the Suns vs Lakers, it was also very close. Congrats to those who got the + side on the Suns.

They have a chance to win the game here, but Reaves prevented it by hitting another clutch three in the dying minutes.

Same here, i thought that the Knicks would make that a close game but they were blown out by the Bucks big time. Those 3's did the damage for the Bucks as they made 23/38 while the Knicks only managed to get 7/23, great difference on that department. Though Randle and Brunson have a big night for the Knicks but that was not enough as both Giannis and Lillard also have an amazing night scoring 35 and 28 respectively.

If you'll conclude early, you'll think that Knicks would win or at least cover the spread, but the 2nd half was a complete different story. This team is very unpredictable as sometimes they start slow but could easily dominate in the later quarters.

How about the 2nd game. I thought that game was give to the Lakers, I mean it looks rigged to me as there are calls and non calls that favors the LA Lakers. The last one was when refs call it a timeout when Reaves wasn't even in position of the ball, that's a crazy ending.

Also, it does look like Lakers are trying to injure the Suns 2 bets players, Booker ankle and Durant Knee.

Maybe I'll tail you on the Phoenix Suns moneyline here, the Lakers have started the first quarter has the better side halfway in, so I'm looking for a better value or atleast a positive advantage +handicap advantage for even Odds.

Lakers up, Suns currently +5.5 and 2.65 on the moneyline, this should be the value to look for.

I'd take the moneyline if I haven't pulled the trigger yet, just that I love to bet on pregame odds as I don't want to take the pressure, but like I said, I find the current odds such a good value as it's still too early in the game, anything can happen, just like the Kings vs Pelicans.

Here we go, Suns having a good run and bringing the lead to a single digit only by the Lakers. While Lebron was sitting, the Suns had taken advantage on it from a double digit deficit now down to 4 points only. So thus far, that ML taken during live and it's handicap are looking good. (If you proceed)

WIN OR GO HOME!......
Unlucky there. Lebron really showed up in the 4th and then followed up by Reaves and Davis. I had bet live coming into the 4th qtr on Suns as well, looking at KD and Devin Brooker to take it home but I cashed out after a while when I noticed that they both were in foul trouble. KD had 4 fouls coming into 4th while Brooker had 5 early on into the 4th. All Lakers had to do was play smart. Still, the Suns made tried their best, but just wasn't good enough.

Lucky enough for me, I was able to get the Phoenix Suns on a +8.5 @ 2.20 when the Lakers were up by 14 points or thereabout towards the end of the halftime.

It was really an unlucky game for the Suns, they could easily have tied things on get a run for the overtime, but Lebron and Lakers were able to get away with being saved by a timeout call, with the ball lose after a Suns double team on Austin Reaves with about 9 seconds left on the clock, the referree that awareded the timeout clearly never paid any attention to the ball not being in possession of a Lakers player as of the time Lebron made the request, and I feel the Lakers got away with quite a number of the officiating calls being in their favor.
Nevertheless, that was yet another masterclass performance from Austin Reaves, he reminded me of the Reaves we saw in the playoffs last season.

That was such a dominating second half for the Bucks, that's surely set us for very nice match up vs the Indiana Pacers.

It was the night for the underdogs last night, could we be in for another doubleheaded stunners today too ?
The Bucks game isn't over, but at least we already avoided the double upset since they're already leading by almost 20 points in the fourth quarter.  Cheesy

I'll probably take the Lakers for the next match. Something makes me think they're more desperate than the Suns, and maybe the home advantage could push them further than their usual performance.

Bucks now are -4.5 with 1.90 odds. I think I'm taking this, as long as they win the 2nd half, they'll likely cover the spread. I trust Giannis in this game, he is very unstoppable but they have to do some great defense on Randle as he got 25 points already from perfect shooting. I think that was the key why Knicks were able to keep this close but it's expected he'll not continue his good shooting.

Some good games on tonight as the in-season tournament rolls on. TNT is airing them so it will be a good night for basketball. I like the Bucks beating the Knicks in the first game, but the second game could go either way. I think the Suns have a better team but they’ve got some injuries and the Lakers are playing well. We all know how cheap LeBron is so I’m not sure betting against him with $500,000 at stake is a good idea.

I don't know though, but I'm leaning towards a +5.5 for the Knicks here.

One thing that got me into the Knicks is their defense rating, as they are in the 4th position. And they are also shooting very high percentage as well. While Bucks will rely on Giannis and Lillard and Middleton.

And it could be a tough match up for them here against the defense that the Knicks are going to put up here.

I was thinking of going Bucks and Lakers to win in a parlay. I think Giannis is just too dominant to bet against and LeBron’s cheapness should help the Lakers win tonight. Booker is also coming off injury and you know LeBron wants another accolade to add to his career, not to mention they’re in Los Angeles. So far the Knicks are staying with the Bucks as it’s a 2 point game after 1.

I have a bitter betting experience with the Knicks so i'll be on the same side with the Bucks handicap (-4.5). One of the things that worries me about the handicap is the number of threes that the Knicks will attempt because if half of those shots start hitting, they might cover the handicap.

It was the night for the underdogs last night, could we be in for another doubleheaded stunners today too ?

The complex nature of in season tournament for its lose one lose all nature makes it a fairer game for the underdogs too, as they don't need to be good for a 7 games stretch all they need is just one good game and they advance, and we could all agree that both Pelicans and Indiana Pacers had a good night and the results in a 7 games contest would very much likely have been different still, regardless of them winning the first game on the road or home court.

Lakers have won the last 4 games, all this year, so betting agains them is like going against the trend. However, I agree with you about the Suns being the better team so I'd follow.

Last game Suns loss by 3 points, but Booker was out (Beal in).. this we have Booker and Durant which are a good combo so far.
I also like the Suns because the difference is night and day with Booker in the lineup but the Lakers perform the best at their home.

I would still back the Bucks here, it's a home game and I find it very easy for them as I feel Knicks are quite inconsistent.
Giannis would be monster again and Lillard love to prove himself in bigger stage like this in-season tournament which has a playoff feel.
