I find it remarkable that NEM, compared to other coins, has essentially been free of FUD so far.

You obviously missed a couple of posts Grin

Seems utopianfuture already accepts donations in NEM.

This is from his signature:
NEM donation: TD53NLTDK7EMSutopiaK4RSYQ523VBS3C62UMJC5

Is this the NEM address format?

Getting closer.  Smiley

are they all going to have "utopia" in the middle? lol

That would be cool, but I don't think so.

Those are just alpha testing addresses. Gimre searched to find priv keys for addresses that would somewhat resemble our names.
Mine would be TDPATEMA4HXS7D44AQNT6VH3AHKDSNVC3MYROLEZ Smiley

PS I wish the end was RULEZ but ROLEZ is close enough  Grin

why the coin is so expensive?

Your answer can be found on the first page.

- Fair distribution (call for participation) with 3000 stakeholders
- Proof of intent (distinct form proof of work and proof of stake)
- Large, skilled, development team.  Gimre and Jagaur were contributors to NxT.  The other developers had roles in other successful coins.

Is Proof of intent the same as Proof of Importance?

Yep.  Sometimes it's also called proof of interest.  I think the importance is the more official lingo.
Thanks. I thought I may have missed some new information.

Aye, thanks for the link.

NEM, in the meanwhile, has reached the Inner Sanctum of 2.0 development:

Yey!

I see the guy quoted just a small part of my post.

Post the entire quote to them and then they will understand more about NEM and maybe even be interested in buying some.  Wink

Out of curiosity: which was the 1st?

Also, does anyone have any idea when UP is going to do the next batch of AE tokens?

Don't know what you mean with 1st.

For the second question check this thread:

Ok cool, UP gave an update.

I meant to ask: what was the 1st official bounty, since the Emunie one is the 2nd?

maybe this one? http://www.coindesk.com/how-roger-ver-hacked-what-he-did-stop-it/

I havnt read so much FUD, most negatives are about distribution makes no difference compared to NXT, and about what benefits will there be that we dont already have.
