Hey guys,
..do you really think the dev could come every 5 or 6 weeks with a monster feature arround the corner?
I´ve seen other coins like Crypti with huge problems after lunch, so I´m fine with the actual status.

A little Roadmap,or info about the development of the mobile-app would be fine.  Cool

1) Three of the main devs regularly post here.  They are Makoto, Gimre, and Bloody Rookie.

2) The mobile app is in alpha.  I actually have it on my phone and have used it on the testnet just fine.  It still needs more work though and needs to be cleaned up before release.  Won't be for a while yet.  So far I have successfully tested making new wallets, importing private keys, connecting to a server, changing password, sending XEM, receiving XEM, sending messages, receiving messages, adding signers to multisig accounts, removing signers from multisig accounts, signing multisig transactions, adding names to address, and so on.  It will be a nice app.

I am especially excited about the multisig capabilities.  That means I can start a multisig transaction on my desktop, and then use my mobile app as a 2FA by making it a signer on the account.

Thanks for your statement
Wow  Shocked  , I didn´t recognize  that you could do an 2FA with a multisig Wallet and your mobile phone, that sounds really cool Cool

mining is so 2012-2013
I'm looking forward to it too.  NEM has some of the best foundational code for multsig technology in cyrpto and when the app is released (it will be open-source) then it will allow mobile developers to take advantage of that.

Please post link to the app

It's in a private testing phase via Test Flight on iOS. The android app isn't to testing yet but has the core features built.  But at some point (I hate to give deadlines) they both will be open for public testing.

Very good news! It will be big step for our movement!

You cannot ask the community for money and have next to nothing to show in return.

What are you referring to?

Lead developer Jaguar0625 has not made a post since October 2014.

He gave up on btt because there were too many people spreading FUD. Now who could he be referring to?

At least, the core devs should provide some kind of project dev-maps to the community.

It is not good to keep mute .

Projects always need leaders to focus the confidence of the community.

BTT just isn't considered as part of the community I think. Can you blame them ? This toxic pit full of scum and 12 yr old fudsters isn't a platform for a healthy project.
Just curious,  was btt a toxic pit when Nem came here looking for people to participate in it's movement?
Yes, it was but that was what was needed at the time. You can go to any worthy project in btt and you will always see somebody crapping around TaunSew style. I think it's very important to move away from here so we do not have to read all this crap. Others like Ethereum, Supernet, ... have done that and you hardly see any dev post in btt.

#facepalm

I am referring to the stakes they had nothing to show when they were asking for bitcoin.

It was mixed. You cannot ask the community for money and have next to nothing to show in return. There was of course many skeptical people thinking it was just a scam for some free bitcoin.

Only mostly twenty days ago Technical Reference 1.0 was released, and 2 weeks ago new 0.6.31 nis and ncc version was realised. NEM project is in active development now. And this nodes reward system someone want is bullshit, since you already can harvest and make money on your or some folks nodes. People can spend time only on NEM project. Some have family, girls or other deals. Let's think from the facts, price is rising on bter and updates comes frequently now.

As for me, I think devs mostly should distribute nis and ncc parts separately in different packages. And point ncc to some node (better select node based on location) from nodeexplorer by default. Regular user don't need to run nis (server). And people should understand that running nis with ncc on public server is a bad practice. Good practise is too run ncc locally and nis on public server (different host). Or just run ncc locally and use someone already configured node from: http://www.nodeexplorer.com/

Well unfortunately it is a part of the community and they need to suck it up. There wouldnt be so much fud if there was even a little dev activity but when we go months without contact or new features we can only speculate on what has happened.

Nem appears to be abandoned by the dev. This was a launch and dump by the looks of it.

would like to know something about  the whole develop plan of the NEM project.

Yep. It's been some time since beta release, I know NEM likes to be thorough and do things properly but would be nice hear of the development progress. This isn't your average pump n dump coin. Ninja news releases serve no purpose here.
