I had 2 250 000 something, now after syncing the blockchain, I have... 0 XEM!

What happened, what can I do?

What I did: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10946725

do you see a transaction going out of your account? or is the address you imported empty with out transactions?

What is the Account ID? Does it look like there was a transaction out of your account?

Anyone get the Mac client working? Have it installed but NIS and NCC will not start....

Well, what error do you get?

no error everything appears in dock above but when i run NIS it doesnt do anything it show all process stop

this

If the automated installer fails to work for you (for unclear reasons as I have no further details), launching Nem manually is an option. Here's how you do it:

1. Download http://bob.nem.ninja/nis-ncc-0.6.25.zip and unzip
2. Assuming you now have a folder called package in ~/Downloads (otherwise just change the path in the command below), fire up Terminal.app
3. Enter
Code:
cd ~/Downloads/package && chmod +x nix.runNis.sh nix.runNcc.sh
4. Type
Code:
./nix.runNis.sh
you'll see the nem infrastructure server booting up
5. Open a second Terminal window and enter
Code:
./nix.runNcc.sh
to launch the nem community client
6. Go to http://127.0.0.1:8989 in your browser

To launch manually reproduce steps 4-6 every time you want to run your Nem client. Keep the terminal windows opened for as long as you want to have the software running. Hope this helps!

In a very painful way, maybe, you could run a 64 OS on a VM ware virtual machine...

but Im not so sure this will work and you'll have memmory restrictions, as 32 bit OSs uses just up to 3 GB or 3.9 gb.

I can't even install NEM. I feel like I waited more than one year and for what? Nothing. I cannot even install NEM. There is no working Linux installer
This is the standalone version that runs perfectly fine on linux: http://bob.nem.ninja/nis-ncc-0.6.25.zip

Btw: It always helps if people don't just tell "it doesnt work", but tell at least SOME info, what happens.....
I updated my post: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10946725

"The address book file doesn't exist"

I have my private key, can I recreate my wallet?

Here's what you do:

Create a brand new wallet, then click the gear symbol and choose .

Enter your Account's Private Key (this key is what holds your XEM), add a Label (whatever you like), then confirm with the wallets' password (the one you just freshly created). Your wallet can hold several accounts, but you confirm actions within the wallet with your wallets' password.

OK, so the main benefit to me using delegated harvesting is extra security?
You can harvest on remote NIS without risk, yes.

When it says remotley does that mean that i can harvest with my computer off because the remote server is doing it?
correct

Thats pretty cool, but i expect i earn less per block from fees?
less than?

delegated harvesting = local harvesting when it comes to the fees that you "earn".

I've created a new wallet, then chose add existing data by using my private key.  But my wallet shows 0 XEM, my token etc was registered and my real address is viewable from
https://chain.nem.ninja/stakes/registered/   as satb.  But 0 xem is shown in the wallet, as is on the blockchain when I type my address.  Anyone got any ideas how to resolve this?

You have to switch over to your secondary account which you loaded via your private key click top right corner and there is a drop down to secondary account. Had the same confusion.

No I think he has the same problem I have. check if your account ID is listed here  (ctrl+f) : https://forum.ournem.com/nem-news-alerts/the-age-of-extinction-the-final-blow-to-sockmasters/msg13979/#msg13979

Yes, you were right.  I've raised this with Makoto.

So I read ...thread over thread over thread over website again other website again some big bullshit ...and ended up here. Where guess ...what ? I found more bs. I can't find the end of this ....where is the silver lining in this "Crypto" or how it is?
It says something like : "The fundraising is especially designed to promote fairness and egalitarianism. This is the first funding scheme of this type ever and we believe it is revolutionary in its effort to bring egalitarianism to the crypto industry. "
How is promoting fairness and egalitarianism ? And how raising funds on Bitcointalk with a lausy Google Spreadsheet is revolutionary ?
Can please somebody tell me what the hell is this ?

I interpret this as: Dont let the pups take control of a big part of coin, using methods ( You'll have to find it by yourself somewhere on ournem forum).

Spreadsheet is a very effective way to make a lot of people to have the same information....

you talked about: Silver coins, inbdirectely  about Pups and about the google Spreadsheet thing...

for sure you are angry with something you dont want to tell us!

 Shocked

You know what silver lining is ? .... What pups to take control ? Are you on drugs ? Sorry to ask that but you seem to interpret in a weird way. Total off, of what I said . I am sorry If it sounds disrespectful by that question . Still I didn't got any answer regarding the egalitarianism when some got this coin for free other paid for it, how is REVOLUTIONARY and game changing the way they raise the funds... how all this are somehow the "perfect" coin ? . Well I dono but it sounds fishy to me. I won't continue to argue since I see a lot of people all charmed up by this coin and since people are becoming fans of something it's hard to get an unbiased answer .
