Actually remote harvesting works a bit different than the corresponding feature nxt has. I guess both developers had their reasons to implement it the way they did.

Remove "unique" part anyway. The difference from Peercoin and Nxt is so small that people will still accuse NEM in a lie.

If the difference between Peercoin and Nxt is so small they accuse a different coin call NEM of a lie Huh
Strange logic.

being automatically forwarded your coins is not a small difference imo. and being able to use anyones nis, even a hackers, is not a small difference. so in that respect it is unique

Dare to explain this to every FUDer? Ok, your choice.

PS: In Nxt you can use any server too.

Can someone help me?

I'm trying to install NEM, please help10

1. http://bob.nem.ninja/docs/#installation
2. Dowloaded http://bob.nem.ninja/nis-ncc-0.5.19.tgz
3. uncompressed in dedicated folder
4. launched from bash (I'm on Ubuntu) nem/package/nix.runNis.sh
5. Result
Code:
/nem/package/nix.runNis.sh: line 3 : cd: nis: No such file or directory
Errorr : Can't find or load org.nem.core.deploy.CommonStarter
/nem/package/nix.runNis.sh: line 5 : cd: « OLDPWD » not defined

Idea? Java 8 is installed.

Try going into the nis folder and launch it from there instead of launching it from outside.
If that does work you can put the cd command into the .sh so you can start it from anywhere in the future.
I have "data" and "logs" in it, nothing more. And data only has two .db files

got it thx.. so now that I imported that private key, it is no longer in any way associated with the old wallet? im afraid the old wallet might be compromised.

If you think something is compromised, I would suggest opening another account and sending all your XEM to the new address/private key... I've done it several times with my NXT when stuff got uncertain...

Im trying to send the XEM to new account but client says 'Your account does not have the right balance to make this transaction.'

make sure you are considering the fee requirement as well that is required to send a transaction.

Is that
13 ‱

13/1000 or 13/10000?

If  13 % = 13 / 100
I guess the logical conclusion would be that 13 ‱ = 13 / 10000

 Cool

Important !!!!

Don't forget to write message when you deposit xem on polo.
Without message they don't know who sent xem's

I want to send XEM from Polo to my NEM Wallet. From where to get the message in my NEM Wallet?

??

The fact that address starts with NANEMO suggest that vanity gen was run to find it, doesn't it?

No, looks as a random set of letters to me.

While you are here, how is it possible to harvest with no coins on an account? Or maybe I incorrectly interpreted this picture:

Harvesting with no coins on your account. It's not a bug, it a feature!

It's part of "delegated harvesting" that allows you to give the importance of one account to another account to secure and keep safe the original one. if you were to look up the account in the NEM client(and not nembex) it has no XEM because it is located on the original account that set up "delegated harvesting".

IMO, its like the leasing feature in NXT.
