And what about silver coins on NXT AE , i bought 1 last summer ,before it was known that every stake will get 1 silver coin . Do i need to redeem it or what?

Yes, you should redeem. You can redeem NEMsilver or NEMgold assets this way:

1) Send asset to the issuing account (NXT-JKCL-N9PV-77XE-H5CLX)
2) E-mail us at [email protected] with your name and address, and we will confirm we can ship to you.
3) You'll be asked to prove account ownership by sending a message with a random code to NXT-JKCL-N9PV-77XE-H5CLX from your NXT account. When confirmed, your order will be complete.

I thought, the nem stake owners also get some coins? won't they get tokens? at least it should only be sent one time, because shipping is not that cheap ;-)
For example i bought one coin token and have 2 nemstakes. (1 bought and 1 of my account)

Yes, the NEM stakeholders will get coins as well. The plan is to issue assets that are then redeemable for the coins or tradable/sellable to others.

I have such question if I now create in testnet private key which isn't relating to Nemesis whether it will work then in a real network?

Whether a question from the category private keys from testnet will work a real network which don't enter the initial Nemesis block.

Reminder to Everyone

As we (hopefully) approach the launch of NEM sometime in the near-ish future, I think it is important to clarify a few things for everyone now and also encourage everyone who is a stakeholder to check that they have everything ready and prepared for launch to reduce the number of potential disasters and complaints when launch does finally happen.

As patmast3r has said a few posts back, the first thing everyone who is a stakeholder needs to do is to make sure that you still have the private key you received when you redeemed your stake. Without this private key, you will not be able to access the XEM that you are entitled to, so if you have lost it or something then you need to act on this immediately before the NEMesis block is generated at launch.

Secondly, please remember that the testnet we are all using now to beta test is not in any way related to the real NEM network at launch. This means that your wallets, accounts, or whatever else you have created for the testnet will not work on the actual NEM network after launch. So, remember, anything you do on the testnet is just for testing and getting to know how NEM works.

When launch eventually happens, you will be creating a new wallet from scratch just like the first time you ever used NEM and then loading the private key you received when you redeemed your stake to gain access to the XEM you are entitled to based on how many stakes you redeemed. But again, remember that without your private key, you will not be able to access your XEM so you need to make sure you have that stored safely and ready to load into the client after launch.

You can double check your address, public key, and private key by opening up the NEM client.  Going to the settings icon gear next to your account number and clicking "verify real account data".

You can then make sure that your address is listed here. https://chain.nem.ninja/stakes/registered/

If poi is still being worked on would that mean there will be more beta release still before launch? March may not be the month.

I don't think we plan to tweak the parameters anymore. Regarding changing parameters, you might recall that gimre said there is a fork at block 43,000 Wink

(Use the validator built into the wallet).

Pat,

Can you expand on the above or link to more details if already published?

click the cog next to your address in the client > click verify account data > enter address, public key and private key and click  ok.

Cheers Kodtycoon. All checks out good for me. The only improvement would be to list the total number of stakes so you could be sure that if you were an initial stakeholder and then bought additional stakes from NXT AE that all were associated with your address

KC
no problem. Smiley

i think that could be happen.. ie. list of all nem addresses(with out associated btt/nxt account) published with amounts to be sent to the addresses... not 100% sure if that will happen though.. i dont see any reason not to do it..

what was the thought process behind that? Cos it really doesn't sound like the right decision?

It's a long story that is out of scope of this thread. Look for a thread about autopayment to lessors on Nxt forum.
