Yesterday the NEM client was normal. Today it was my big surprise to find out it had been redesigned into pirate style. And pirate style is awesome!

Hi I am on the final stakeholder list, do I need to get a token? or do I just wait for launch day.
Hi, I think it would be better to just wait for the launch day. Besides, token issuing is currently halted due to multiple phising attempts.

Also I tried to create a wallet name with my Screename from the stakeholder list, and it says someone already has a wallet opened under that name. Is that someone trying to take my stake??

Maybe the node should be auto-booted with a random name also (with the ability to modify the name later for those who are interested)
Problem is that the private key is needed to boot, so you have to input your password to decrypt it.
Could a mechanism be used whereby the password only has to be provided once to identify the user and link it to the client machine. Once positively authenticated create a certificate in the JVM which can be used for future boots. Could security be maintained by only allowing the use of a certificate if it already exists, if the machine remains running the same OS and the same user account (combine computer and user account identities)?

@yweetot, what do you mean by "Can't download"? Can't install the software or stuck downloading the block chain?

@Peligro: Block generation time is 60 seconds compared to the 100 seconds of Nxt, so it is faster but it is not quantum leap.

Transactions seem to confirm very fast, within seconds. I noticed when I set my transaction fee manually, it automatically adjusts it after I click send. I specifically set 1 NEM fee for several transactions and they were all changed I initiate the transaction.
What is the actual transaction time? NXT takes minutes to confirm, so seconds would be agreat boost to us.
Later when the DEX starts working, fast transactions will help a lot.
