Transactions seem to confirm very fast, within seconds. I noticed when I set my transaction fee manually, it automatically adjusts it after I click send. I specifically set 1 NEM fee for several transactions and they were all changed I initiate the transaction.

Maybe the node should be auto-booted with a random name also (with the ability to modify the name later for those who are interested)

Problem is that the private key is needed to boot, so you have to input your password to decrypt it.

I'm wondering why there are so many voices regarding testing alpha, when there are only small group of people testing it...

Nope, i had try to use NCC, but when i open it, it show the message "NIS requires to be booted", i'm not the technician, so.... i gave up... Angry

If you wait, it will auto-boot. Try waiting 5 min or so.

No auto-booting yet.

@tb_midea : If you log into the wallet, a popup appears where you have to supply an arbitrary name for the node and then hit "boot". It's not that hard after all.

By auto-booting, I meant, NIS will start when you start up the NEM monitor (at least this works on my system). Your node will not boot, but this is somewhat confusing terminology to the user I think

Guys, thanks, i will try it later. Smiley

Many paid with BTC and NXT for their stack. Maybe it's possible to authenticate people via their wallet address?

That's exactly what we've been doing Smiley

Yes. Though not entirely your fault, but still you guys should tip Patmast3r and gang for that extra hard work they are doing. He needs a rocket to fly to the moon, of course, with NEM pushing behind him. ;-)

+1 Nakamoto

Yes, Patmast3r especially deserves a lot of tips for all the work he has done, though he certainly is not the only one.

Someday I think a story like this will mention NEM silver and gold.

I don't think so. Coindesk is Bitcoin only.

The NEM coins minted at the Perth Mint will be of higher quality than any of these.
