What is the advantage of NEM compared to other altcoin ?
I first bought NEM in November 2015 when it cost 80-90 Satoshi. In this year I sell highest at price 12k Satoshi , whereas NEM supply is very much.

You are so lucky to buy at bottom and sell at top..
it needs a lot of patience to hold that long..

Ok, so Catapult is a new core architecture that will power the public (NEM) and private (Mijin) blockchains.

But I'm still having trouble understanding what that means at a deep level.

Basically what I want to know if Nem as in XEM, is still going to be the coins used. There's not going to be a new coin, like with NXT and ARDR.

I feel that it's probably a noob question and everyone here is face palming.

Basically C++ is a much better codebase to work with over java.

Essentially the core has been rebuilt in C++ and will replace the existing Java core.
This will make it more efficient and resource friendly than ever before.

Ok, so now I see. It's still just going to be Nem, just built on C++ and improved.

Check out the new NEM Homepage.

www.nem.io

The site looks awesome. Still catching up and reading everything about NEM but this coin definitely looks promising. Hopefully it sees a ton of use as I can see quite a few use cases for this blockchain tech.

Has any other businesses/projects utilized NEM's API's yet or is everything still being developed?

I was just looking at NEMs repository and its quite impressive. Most of their work was done in 2014 and 2015. But I see the crypto gaining a lot more hype and I have been following it. I expect NEM to pass 1 dollar 1st quarter 2018. The charts show increasing buy volumes. Since the climb began of April this year, which is where I think a lot of crypto's too a nice climb. I will continue to monitor NEM and would place a recommend buy at 0.19 cents. At least I think its a good buy for where it is currently. Let me know your feedback.

You are not going to see many commits in Github as they are rewriting Nem core in C++ and not yet release the repository to the public.

This is incredible... I cant begin to understand the amount of commitment the devs have in this task. I'm incredibly happy to be a part of this..

after exporting my ncc wallet to nano wallet can I still use both my ncc wallet and nano wallet or I can only use my nano wallet from now on

You can still use NCC but you better not do it.

NCC was discontinued, there's no recent version with reduced fees, you will be paying higher fees.

Ok thanks and sure I will never use it again although from what I experience this past few days ncc wallet is still functional and still has low fees

edit: okay im using nano wallet right now and compared to ncc wallet the fees are very low when using the nano wallet you're right
