Xarcade is a NEM powered video game distribution/exchange platform for both game publishers and gamers to use and is a more direct alternative to the other app stores.  The video games on the Xarcade platform will all have NEM wallets and a built-in SDK whereby the gamers can exchange XEM for the in-game tokens and vice versa.

What makes Xarcade unique is that the gamers using Xarcade will be able to exchange with XEM and get connected to the crypto currency space.

HOW XARCADE WORKS:
 
For the gamer:
 
•   A gamer signs up to the platform in order to become part of the gaming ecosystem whereby he/she can view games, download games, buy in-game tokens and exchange cross-platform in-game tokens.
 
•   Gamers will be able to make in-game purchases and be able to convert game points (tokens) into Xarcade’s credits called, “XAR.”
 
•   Gamers can convert their gaming points from XAR into XEM in the platform.
 
•   Using XEM to make in-app purchases creates a much faster and smoother purchasing process for gamers compared to the methods used at present.
 
•   All games uploaded onto the platform will include a built-in “Xarcade wallet” with QR code functionality and which will allow gamers to exchange XEM with fellow gamers.
 
For the game publisher:
 
•   A game publisher signs up to the platform in order to upload and manage their games.
 
•   A game publisher can directly distribute their games in a much more cost-effective using the platform.
 
•   All platform transactions will be verified and processed using NEM blockchain technology in a safe and secure manner.
 
•   The Xarcade wallet and Software Developer Kit (SDK) will be available for download from the platform in order for the game publisher to integrate it into their games.
 
•   Xarcade’s SDK will allow games designed with it to interact directly with one another using blockchain nodes, which in turn will make any third party middleware irrelevant.

NEM will reach $1 when Alts market cap out stands BTC market cap which is something expected to happen sooner than later.

what? 2-3 years isn't that long if you forget it for now. i forgot my litecoin for years and suddenly its now $15 i could believe i dump some of mine when it was just $5. i still have some more of it though. i can imagine how much it can be after 3 years. i will be bragging again when it hit $1.

If you put some numbers in an excel spreadsheet, you can plot the price of xem and bitcoin over a period of time.
Let's say you assume both bitcoin and xem gain 2% every 7 days (1 week).

You'd end up with a $1,01 XEM price for 1 Xem in about 82~85 weeks, depending on where you start with the current prices.

Is a 2% weekly grow in Crypto possible? Long term?

The way I see it..dont follow the charts as much as you follow the news and the actual results coming out..because NEM speaks for itself

I'm in it for the long haul too, so I'm not as sensitive to whether it's on recent highs etc. Essentially I'm looking at the market cap and thinking about where it might go. Any thoughts?

I think it's mainly dependent on what the rest of the alts get up to right now. A rising tide is lifting all boats.

It wouldn't be a huge surprise if it plummeted again, but every pump brings more attention and those volumes, even if fleeting, are hard to dismiss.

I'm waiting 3-5 years meself. Some of the genuine potential will be fulfilled by then no doubt.
