I suppose "primary account" is already filled in, but how do I call the "node name" ? Huh

doesn't matter. You can name it whatever you want.

[...], is there something I can do so the wallet starts to boot a local node automatically when I open my wallet?  Huh
As pat already said, there is an option for it, just take a look.

Just be aware that if you login to your wallet before the db is fully loaded (which I think is only possible if you manually change a config file so that NIS is available before the db is fully loaded), then auto-boot will not happen. I hope we can change this in the future since this would make the usage even more user friendly.

The node name can be anything you like. http://blog.nem.io/how-to-make-your-node-name-appear-in-color-on-the-nem-block-explorer/

The Sound of NEM game has started. It is a great chance to win 500,000 XEM by listening to a sound and guessing correctly what it is.

You need help to get started?
Download and install the NEM software: nem.io/install.html
Helpful tutorials:

- blog.nem.io/windows-mac-installation-guide

Here is the blog post with the full instructions. http://nem.io/soundofnem/

中文NEM之音 http://blog.nem.io/soundofnem-cn/

This is going to be great.

good game. no answer yet.

if one try was less expensive and if there was some sort of clue, then I would have tried to guess (it's a WW2 click recognition thing for soldiers when they are lost so they know they are on the same side) That would have been my guess...

Anyway, I 've got a question concerning booting the local node, is there something I can do so the wallet starts to boot a local node automatically when I open my wallet?  Huh

I don't think it's a cricket beause the click is only at the end of the sound i think.

Yes, there is an auto-boot setting. Just check out the settings page. It's a checkbox.

Thanks, you mean the "auto-boot" setting?

What do I fill in for "node name" and "account" then?

I am not Dorian Nakamoto.
What I meant to say is that political interests (peace) always prevail over economic interests (economic growth), the former is generally considered more important than the latter. I am not quite sure why you think politicians are not elected in the EU? We still have democracies, or are you referring to EU level government?

You sure?

Looks fun

Do I need to keep my wallet open in order to get a "vested" balance?  Huh
No Smiley Just wait.

thanks! I wonder how many XEM I will harvest  Smiley

Hi b1007
With only ~30,000 XEM I have harvested 23 block in the last month, almost 1 block/day.
There were a couple of times where I got 3 blocks in a single day.
Right now most blocks have no fees. As the number of transactions increase, more blocks will contain fees.
In the future will be no emply blocks.  Wink

You can use an explorer to see the results of others. e.g.

Looks like the media is starting to praise the blockchain above and beyond Bitcoin.  Good thing NEM was designed from day one to be a fast, flexible, and secure blockchain platform and not just a coin.

NEM was designed as a blockchain platform. Period. It is an ecosystem and a platform for great things to sit on.

I am not so sceptical of governments as you are, you have however one point if you consider the fact that it doesn't matter which political parties get elected since their policy is almost always determined by circumstances rather than by ideologies...

Well you should be really -- because as government grows under certain systems (Communism especially). Anyone can occupy it and take freedoms and rights from it's citizens.

The best system is a federal world government; NAFTA, ASEAN, EU leaders etc coming together working things out as long as those leaders are directly elected by the peoples...

The EU is indirect democracy, I agree, there are however elections for the EU parliament and what not, but honestly nobody gives a ratz-ass about it...
