Both are good coin or hat can bring in some profit,on a short time basis,i think my confidence is high in both coin but for long term investment, I don't feel comfortable with both coin.
If we talk about getting free gas, then NEO is a more profitable investment, but I think that so far it is not worth investing in NEO or EOS.
Neo is my preferred coin out of the two. But if you like both, you can spilt your capital and invest in both. Before investing, please do your research.

In eos there is no passive income as in neo, if you want to make money on neo then buy neo on the exchange binance , and you on this exchange will be produced gas , but now I would not recommend to do so as the market falls and you will go to minus(
I would not advise you to invest in Neo and EOS because I do not think that this project is promising.
It looks like nobody even read OP's message. The question is not about what's better - neo or eos. The question is about earning possibilities with these cryptos. I can't say anything about EOS, but while you have neo there is a pos system that reward you with gas. So yes, it's possible to earn some money with neo, but ofc if it won't be dumped.
Yeah you read it right. In this market there are some coin available which give dividend if you hold them. And neo is one of them in top bracket. If you hold neo you will get gas(neo) every month. Maybe not in a huge amount but you will get it. And for eos there is no dividend. But in other platform based token you will not get that much airdrop or usefully airdrop which will you get in eos. Neo also have good amount of airdrop and one of the best example is intended. And eos has many airdrop. I am a early adopter of eos. I have 90-100 eos. And I already get more than 40 dollar airdrop. In last 8-9 months.
I am holding EOS and NEO because i think both coin is good investment in the future. NEO and EOS is like ethereum and i think can compete in top 10 coinmarketcap. I am believe holding EOS and NEO for long term is good option in this bear market because the price very low

I only know about staking of NEO in some of the websites. They mention that if we have some NEO, we can earn more neo or whatever (I forgot) if we keep that amount in the wallet or the website that offers for staking. I think it's good for you because you can earn a profit from NEO by staking the amount in the wallet beside of doing trading. Maybe you can search on the website so you will know how to stake NEO.
Although their prices have dropped a lot.Both coins have their own characteristics and can have a huge community.Among them I choose neo.It can bring more for me.
Neo and eos is a type of altcoin whose development is quite good, of course I will choose both because they have good potential and I also believe that investing in both of them will surely get you maximum profit in the future

Have notice it already and it looks like it have a brighter compared to any coins existed. Isn't long enough that it have launch in the market and you are right, many investors have looking it great and it continue to grow compared to NEO. But both of them do have extraordinary developments.
I cant say how the competition will end up, so basically I will choose both. Why? If you are not sure, invest at the same time. nothing to lose since both of them are legit projects with promising team and devs.

that's true mate since that both altcoin is very promising and has a good team behind . Indeed last year more traders and holders become profitable on it because of massive demand and supply in the market. By the way i suggest if you're planning to ride on that both coin , make sure to make a research first for the sake of your capital and educate you self first to prevent doing mistakes. Don't forget the basic rules which "buy low and sell high" avoid being greedy!. 
You can earn passive income from holding NEO in your wallet in the form of GAS and you can also earn interest from most dividend tokens and proof-of-stake coins however, with EOS you can only receive rewards if they are shared by one of the block producers (nodes)

You'll get different answer but the point is what do you need to support your activity, Neo or Eos? only you can decides that. This day everything is possible but you should know how to do and protect it. That's why you need to research again about your strategy and I believe you already know the answer but don't have enough faith to do that.
Looking at the current market conditions with fluctuating price movements, I am more inclined to EOS because the platform network has started to be used a lot
