^I (sincerely) apologize, but try to see my side of it.

Each time I think "surely this is a joke," (as I did when I read ABitInterested's secret pr0nz site offering), I'm proven wrong.  
Turns out, ABitInterested was not trying his hand at sarcasm.  He was slowly and methodically separating Bitcoin investment enthusiasts and their coin.  Go figure, huh?

Now here's the kicker--IT WORKED!
Intrepid investors, finding nothing funny about a secret pr0nz site, eagerly sent their coin, through the intertubes, to Anon.  Just like that.

I'm not kidding--this happened, or, rather, is still happening as I type this.
I'm sorry, but your sarcasm simply got lost amidst vaudevillian slapstick that consumed Bitcoin securities.

But again, I sincerely apologize.  Sorry.

apart from that I thank you for your -fairly close to correct- opinions on Danny the businessman, and I'll state clearly just so there is no misunderstanding: My "sperging" was wrong about NeoBee, I lost money in that little endevour, and I tried to talk calmly about a situation I didn't understand entirely, in the face of a shitstorm.

I don't thank your for your tone, and less so for your "I'm always right", troll-like attitude, but I laugh with you on occasion these days. So thanks for those laughs. Cynicism should be permeating the securities board like a happy, much needed virus, and if it's not, well you sure do your best to help it along.

A lot of people are looking for him in Cyprus.

When he is captured and ends up in jail, it is very easy to find many prisoners that will do the job for peanuts.

Word has it that he will try to visit Cyprus via the Turkish occupied areas in order to see his daughter who stays with his ex in Limassol.

He has a "wanted tag" attached to his head. There is no place on the planet that he can escape to.

They are still looking for Mr. Neo, Mr. Danny Brewster –Did he buy his new Ferrari that he uploaded to Facebook using Bitcoins?

to be honest I wasn't looking for a debate in posting that and I agree that he may well go on to scam again or may well have already made enough from this last one.. The post is just a method of thinking about this loss for myself, and anyone who would care to partake in my tentative positive psychology experiment.

ultimately, in my opinion, he may well be one of the biggest losers in this (for clarity, I'm not talking about money). I get the impression that he didn't set out to scam, but he is just so incompetent he fell back on that as his personal "business plan" because he doesn't know any better. I feel sorry for his kid - being used as a human shield and having such a father to raise her, which she will be woefully ignorant of until she develops her own social or emotional issues later on in life perhaps. I won't elaborate further because I don't have any maths or facts to back up my claims, it's just a matter of opinion and perspective. I'll also re-iterate: those who have been burned will have learnt something that will be valuable later on in life, Danny, on the other hand, will have not.

Danny may well be in the UK, considering his facebook posts about British TV. Seems he's just sitting around drinking beers and being a "geezer". Good for him! 


@Jorge - yes I am aware (now) of his possible previous dealings in the UK. We have no absolute proof of his career as a scammer through and through, until now. I would argue the amount of media coverage, especially including photos of his face, will be a lot more important in identifying the man and his flaws than any previous potential evidence you are citing.

I guess its called the mother-load or something like that but there probably is a name for one of them, the hunt for Brewster continues in the meantime.

And yah its true the Cyprus idealism caught a lot of people off guard.

I would not say that Neo&Bee was "an attempt to be a 2 bit CEO", but rather a big step up in his real "career".

I suppose that he is neither in the UK nor in Cyprus.  Who knows what will be his next step.  He may not even have to change his name.  If Neo&Bee investors did not think of checking his past before giving him their money, why would the next crowd do it?

If he's stolen enough, he might not need to.

looking at his facebook (on suprisingly minimal privacy settings) and looking at his self righteous posting on reddit - it's just hillarious that no one noticed what a lame duck this guy was earlier.

cyprus idealism fooled everyone, what a massive joke. The only thing left to do is smile, or kill the cunt. But why kill him when you only have yourself to blame?

this neo bee attempt at being a 2 bit ceo will probably be Danny's greatest achievement, it's all down hill from here. He's never going to get near a business ever again in his life, and even if he does, well good luck to anyone involved because he's proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he's lacking self awareness and is totally irresponsible... I'd be suprised if he can provide for his wife and daughter in the long run, let alone tie his own shoelaces.

Personally I'll give him a pat on the back and a sympathetic look, because while those who invested may have actually learned a lesson, he clearly has not
