NEO has to get past ETH first and I think that's a long way off.
Ethereum will go much higher once they fix the scaling problems. If Sharding works it'll be a milestone.

Although Neo has good potential and I invested in Neo heavily, but I don’t think Neo is able to overtake Bitcoin price in by 2019 which is only 2 years.

Hello everyone! I really like the neo coin, I believe in its further growth and prosperity, but, as if I did not like this coin, after all, I do not believe that it will surpass bitcoin.
I don’t believe in success of NEO on that scale. This is too ambitious to try to overcome Bitcoin. We hear that everywhere Bitcoin is supported. Bitcoin exist as a representative of all cryptocurrencies.

This is pure speculation, don't it seriously dude. How people are trying to make a nonsense thread before they are seeing the latest chart of crypto. The only good thing from neo is dividend through gas emission that has been generated by the network. The smartcontract of neo doesn't seem good for me. Etheruem will always become the number two after bitcoin. If bitcoin really gets lightning network and then look all of altcoins will be doing more effort to compete with it.

Neo of all the coin is been pitched to surpass bitcoin? Are you guys kidding me? There are better altcoin than Neo. Let even start with the obvious one Ethereum. Ethereum is far better and widely use than any other altcoin at the moment. People will say ethereum has this and that but no altcoin is more developed in practical sense than ethereum.
This is very hard to see and ethereum will have a better chance of surpassing bitcoin than neo would, but even that is hard to see.

Don't see it happening. Any price action from BTC will have significant impact on NEO prices, a strong rise in BTC could cause a massive drop in NEO making it extremely hard to surpass.
Fundamentally speaking yes ofcourse NEO can surpass Bitcoin why? Because NEO has a roadmap, future projects, active and amazing team and active community who really supports NEO. Maybe not in 2019 but after 5 or 10 years NEO can really surpass Bitcoin.
Sure mate army of bagholders will kill BTC in one sweep. Damm there is many projects out there than can easy otplace NEO at its place.

very far from the imagined, NEO does not include coins that have a great price so it is very unlikely to be able to overtake bitcoin. NEO probably should be able to rival the coins under bitcoin before could rival the bitcoin.

NEO will not surpass Bitcoin, because bitcoin is the father of all cryptocurrencies, the most adopted, trusted and known digital currency to date. On those terms, you can't kill Bitcoin. The only thing that can kill Bitcoin, is Bitcoin itself (the network failure of BTC). Other than that, hold onto your hat, because this remains just high speculation. Noone knows future of coins
