NEO is very matured,a great platform like ethereum which offers both decentralized applications and smartcontracts really has some chance to replace bitcoin.NEO developers are the most brillant developers in our community that is why there is no doubt that they can make this coin greater than bitcoin in the future,but it wont be that easy yet it is still possible to do.
I believe in NEO, in its project and in its success, but in my opinion, just like Bitcoin, NEO will have to go through the process of maturing and overcoming the market, we must be realistic, regardless of the news that we read, it's It is worth remembering that the biggest and most serious investors are in bitcoin.
Theoretically possible because NEO has a good roadmap and hardworking developers,the platform of NEO is morelikely an upgraded version of ethereum's platform that is why most of the new developers and projects are using NEO over ETH.In the near future NEP5 tokens will replace the existing ERC20 tolens because these neo based tokens are more future proof than these ERC20 tokens.

i hear about airdrop Ontology ( ONT ) for NEO holder, its that true? my plan is to buy NEO if this airdrop is true. and i think NEO is good. and i wanna buy and hold for a long time .

Everyone know that NEO is a good altcoin with very good potential in the future because China investors is supporting for it but Bitcoin is the king and it's very difficult to beat the king. LOL. I think 1 or 2 years is not enough for NEO and all other cryptocurrency to replace Bitcoin and become the king of cryptocurrency world. If NEO really can surpass Bitcoin in the future I think it'll take about 10 year.
It's not easy for any coin although it's NEO, the coin is being supported by China, to surpass Bitcoin by 2019. As you can see the price of Bitcoin at the moment is 10 times higher than NEO price and this gap between price is the biggest problem that NEO need to solve if it want to become the king of crypto world.
Theoretically in the long run yes it is very possible because NEO has great platform better than ethereum,which bitcoin doesnt have,NEP platform could replace ethereum in the near future because most of the developers are starting to use this great platform over ethereum because they want to have a future proof technology which NEO has that is why in the future it would be NEO and BTC that will compete.
NEO may surpass Ethereum in 5 years, it needs to be developed.

I have investments in NEO and I am very big supporter. But I don't think any coin can surpass Bitcoin in the next couple of years.
That sounds crazy. Neo will not be able to bypass bitcoin and Ethereum. I think neo is a good coin, and can take their place in the top 5 of market capitalization, but to surpass bitcoin - no.
With the developments of NEO today? the improvements and how the people are starting to use this great platform ? theoretically yes at it is better than ethereum's platform today,NEO has good roadmap and also offers both smartcontracts and d-apps just like what ethereum has but it is far greater than ethereum's current state,and its NEP5 tokens could easily replace these ERC20 token because these tokens are more future proof than the old erc tokens.

Well, I consider NEO as a highly investible altcoin and I support their project. I really do trust this altcoin. But surpassing BTC? By the year 2019? I would say "Slow down dude".
2019 is just 1 year later from now and it cannot surpass BTC in that small time interval. Especially when there is not many people that are aware of altcoins.

I don't think NEO will be able to wurpass bitcoin by 2019. Bitcoin will be the leader among the crypto currencies for at least 5 years. It can be surpass only by Ripple, if the world banking system will use it in its transactions.
It will soon surpass LTC for sure! By the end of 2018 it will be in top3 currencies in terms of market cap. I'm not so sure about BTC though. King is king, need some time even for Neo to challenge bitcoin.
I think this is a great asset that will show us good growth in 2018 , although it has grown so well . But I think it vryatli Btc will surpass
