Since it was created Ethereum has been an inspiration for many developers. Created by Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum’s purpose was to be a comprehensive platform that allows developers to build blockchain apps.

Today there are a lot of projects based on the Ethereum blockchain. But it is not the only existing technology that offers the possibility to host applications.

Buterin stated that he invented Ethereum because of the lack of options bitcoin was offering when he tried to create applications. But he also opened a door for other developers which are constantly raising the bar.

The Ethereum Foundation held an initial coin offering (ICO) in July 2014 during which they sold 60 million tokens. Shortly after other developers started to create technologies inspired by the immense success of Ethereum.

You should open ticket and only Bittrex support team can help you in this regard. Of course as it is mentioned above you will need transaction id to contact them with. They are quick and surely your problem will be solved fast since transactions on blockchain don't go nowhere if sender/receivers addresses are correct.

After days of speculations around the matter, NEO finally announces a developer competition
with Microsoft. UseTheBitcoin team wrote about that some days ago and we were contacted
from NEO to modify the title, as it may be misleading. Now, the competition is confirmed by
NEO and the title is correct.

“As NEO’s first dev competition, this is an unparalleled opportunity to unleash your creativity,
passion and ambition. This global get-together of NEO community developers will give you a
change to inspire others while being motivated by your fellow competitors’ intellect and frit,”
wrote the company on its webpage.

The competition will start on November the 20 th and will close on March the 10 th , 2018. The
participants must submit the work before the deadline in order to be able to participate. The
intention is to invite the participants to develop on the NEO blockchain. The company provides
different codes and technical documents that users can utilize.

Participants can be individuals or working teams. Developers can also collaborate with each
other and submit their work as one team. The submissions must contain executable programs
and codes. The winner will be announced and awarded on March the 31 st 2018.

I still believe in NEO for sure, prices short term are not relevant for me, I bought some Antshares when they were below 1$. There is still much room to grow in my opinion, maybe not the next few days or weeks, but it will.

I guess Neo are really sorry about it and promise not to do it again... Not. They spread hype, got everyone whipped up in a frenzy then dumped their newly released coins at a high of 0064 and watched the market bleed out again..... Big bagholders will have to wait a long long time before market sentiment rides with Neo again.

Thank you Eleanor for letting understand this whole mad situation better. I've been an investor for quite some time now and it really saddens me to see this kind of speculation, spread of false information and rumors, and especially flocks of idiots flooding twitter with useless comments, just because they expect NEO to get to 1000 $ overnight.

I hope the guys of the Neo team can learn from this experience: never make announcements of announcements or overhype anything: too many stupid people spreading false rumors that will be believed by too many idiots.

Yes, as outlined in the roadmap and whitepaper. Went up a month ago. Will go up again in future, too, again as outlined in the roadmap and whitepaper. Total supply is 100m, minus the remaining 35 held by the NEO council = current supply of 65.

This little pump and dump was poorly handled and, as Lerider himself said on Slack, lessons were learned:


The irony is that what they were actually announcing, and what everyone heard before the announcement and thus became 'old news', was actually pretty cool and good for NEO's growth. If they hadn't said anything at all, the NEO price would probably have gone up a few $$ based on the news alone. But, since 97% of people holding NEO seem to expect it to become the Chinese national blockchain in the next 5 minutes, what should have been welcome news was perceived as a huge disappointment.

Lerider and Fred Huang were careless and handled this poorly, there's no question. Given how excitable the crypto community is, the 'hype' was irresponsible. But unreasonable and impatient expectations about NEO mooning also played a role. We need to remember how far NEO has come already, and not let our imaginations cloud the reality that sustainable growth will take time.
