I bought some Neo a long time ago and now I would like to know if anyone has an estimate of how many project will be coming onto the NEO platform in the next 4 months?

You should keep your Neo/gas/ONt on Neo wallet, Exchanges are subject to hack, thus keep your coins in your wallet where you have access key

Well so far my ONT is 100% profit as it was free... as ONT price is gone through the roof, shall I sell and buy neo or wait for ONT price to go up higher, some websites are saying it will go as high as $48 by the EOY.

You really should keep all of your tokens in a personal wallet in order to guarantee you receive airdrops. Not only that but when you leave on an exchange there are often times you cannot access your funds due to wallet maintenance. But as far as airdrops go including NEO & NEP5 tokens your own wallet is recommended as many exchanges do it support the airdrops although they receive the tokens they choose not to distribute.

I use NEON, Morpheus and O3 labs for me NEO & NEP5. I choose to have 3 that way if one is having issues I can still access my funds.

I was thinking the same thing 

we are still in early stage of blockchain technology, when more and more people start using btc, and able to implement tech to the average Joe, we then can expect an increase in value of many blockchain tech
