2300 Dollar finde ich auch zu teuer. Allerdings kann sich die Effizienz mit < 0.1J/GH durchaus sehen lassen, da wurde nicht zu viel versprochen.

Es wäre toll wenn man die Boads einzeln beziehen könnte, um so die alten S5/S7 upzugraden. Da scheint zwar kein BB mehr drauf zu sein, aber es sind immer noch 18Pin (GPIO?) und mit einem Firmware-upgrade sollten die boards auch laufen.

Das mit 1x 120mm Lüfter find ich komisch vorallem da Bitmain das bei den S7 nur kurz gemacht hat und danach zurück auf zwei Lüfter ist
Das mit dem stromverbrauch stimmt auch nicht bei 0,15 J/GHs müste der Miner knapp 1600W brauchen

Ja irgendwie stimmt da was nicht mit diesen Daten. Und wenn doch ist der S9 sowieso nicht profitabel genug um ihn anzuschaffen...

Ich denke mal morgen oder nächste Woche kommt dann der S9 auf den Markt. Zumindest werden die Dinger bereits offiziell getestet. (Quelle: Siehe letzten Post von Idzly).

Wenn man bedenkt, dass die 16nm im Grafikkartenbereich (Nvidia 1080/1070) schöne Taktraten von bis zu 1.8 Ghz bringen, dann können wir sicher 70% mehr Takt beim S9 erwarten.

Meine Glaskugel sagt:

- 1200 MHz für den ASIC
- 80% mehr Leistung bei gleichem Stromverbrauch (1.35 J/GH)
- Preis: Ich hoffe die wollen keine 8 Coins wie beim S7 Grin
