Yes, I believe so too, these are "in the moment" coins and tokens that fade and get abandoned in a heartbeat when public opinion is no longer focusing on the event or person. This in turn renders the coin/token worthless and leaving whoever bought into the hype holding the bag saddeled with huge losses.

Unfortunately, users at the initial investment cannot be 100% sure that the project will not become fraudulent later. There are examples when some coins are traded for a long time and only after a few months they stop being supported by developers who leave and steal the collected investments.

Is True, usually projects like that only create a temporary sensation by the scammers to benefit from something that is currently happening in the world, of course we have to be careful with such projects because usually fraudulent projects will target people who are indeed easily tempted by the issue that is happening.
And of course this requires further research on the purpose of creating this project and how much influence it will have on the corona pandemic that is currently sweeping the world.

I'm laughing here. I admit that peoples are funny each year there's a hype and each year there's a new story happening which some developers mainly use to gain some extra funds. If there's investors then this corona virus related coin isn't a scam, it might be a shitcoin that will be dumped hard but you the one going to trust it and invest in it then i won't consider it a scam unless you guys report it since its beginning. I know some of them are only scam coins, people has lost their money because trusting them.
I suggest you to avoid the coronavirus coin or something related with it and find other good coin.

There are too many coronavirus or covid19 related new altcoins since the pandemic occurred.
I don't think they all legit, most of them are likely just scam projects and trying to steal people's money.
The most legit for me is covir.io, it is seems like a real project but we still have to do some proper research.
