Crypto must always develop their project, because so far their implementation has only focused on blockchain, and sadly many fail or just repeat the same event. I think in the future crypto must be even bolder in developing, for example by cooperating with large companies and becoming their platform.
I was discussing with a friend the other night about bitcoins and how it is becoming popular. We also got to talking about altcoins until the topic went to the future of cryptocurrency. He said there will not be a new cryptocurrency in the future, I said there might be if more and more people gets in it. Do you think we will be introduced to a new cryptocurrency over the next decade or less? In my discussion with my friend, which do you think is more possible?
people will need to accept any currency if it was new or existing it cannot be a big matter for people it need more stability and more standard features to attract the people for investment otherwise the new currency will not be valuable at most of the time.
It is possible have new cryptos in the future if the people want's new cryptocurrency. But better we still use our current cryptocurrency because that is nice and better for us is to improve it more or upgrade so it will not less the shine of cryptocurrency so it will become more popular again. But if the new cryptos is better why not but now we are focus in the current cryptocurrency.

I think the industry has just started its development and every year there will be new projects because humanity is also developing.
There will definitely be more, especially ones that are used for different applications. Some might be a store of wealth, others might be a unit of account and some will become independent on their own like Ampleforth has stated in their whitepaper paper. I can't imagine such space which full of personal coins belong to someone or some company. Needs should be covered by biggest cryptos in market and that's how every country is able to create its own currency. It is not about satisfaction, it is all about usefulness.

I agree with you, new things are born in line with the times, Crypto is now very good but still has many shortcomings. If in the future the new Crypo is born, I really support it because I'm sure it would be better why I say that? they certainly created it as best they could after seeing all the quality of the current system and creating a more innovative system. i just saw on facebook where my god friend toju kaka said that the most projects that will shake the blockchain space positively are not yet on coinmarketcap.com but i will rephrase the statement in here and it is thus 'the cryptocurrency projects that will change people's perspective about the blockchain space is not yet into the blockchain technology
